A Tale of Two Bills: Barr v. McSwain

Original Article

Posted By: WhamDBambam, 7/16/2021 6:58:16 AM

n September 2019, I was privileged to attend a private dinner hosted by The American Spectator at Washington’s Capitol Hill Club. In attendance were approximately 30 distinguished journalists, editors, commentators, and political insiders. The guest of honor was Attorney General William Barr. The tables were arranged in an inward-facing rectangle. As we ate dinner, Barr fielded questions.

Comments:

Interesting that Barr, again, went to a lefty outfit, the Washington Post, to "refute" McSwain's allegations. Willy, we hardly knew ye.

In these "he said she said" type of the situation we have to look at other associated incidents, behavior, statements Based on these I think Bill Barr is a foul liar and a back stabber. A clear threat to sound public governance with honesty and patriotism Its a shame but unfortunately true. wish Bill McSwain a brigh political future in the service of the country he so obviously loves.

McSwain is telling the truth of the matter as he fears the wrath God our Father and the loss of his soul in the second death. He is a true Christian. 'Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.' John Adams Proverbs 3 1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: 2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. 3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. 8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. 9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: 10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine. 11 My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord; neither be weary of his correction: 12 For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. 13 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. 14 For the merchandise of it is better than the merchandise of silver, and the gain thereof than fine gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. 16 Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. 17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. 18 She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retaineth her. 19 The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. 20 By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew. 21 My son, let not them depart from thine eyes: keep sound wisdom and discretion: 22 So shall they be life unto thy soul, and grace to thy neck. 23 Then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble. 24 When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. 25 Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. 26 For the Lord shall be thy confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken. 27 Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. 28 Say not unto thy neighbour, Go, and come again, and to morrow I will give; when thou hast it by thee. 29 Devise not evil against thy neighbour, seeing he dwelleth securely by thee. 30 Strive not with a man without cause, if he have done thee no harm. 31 Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. 32 For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous. 33 The curse of the Lord is in the house of the wicked: but he blesseth the habitation of the just. 34 Surely he scorneth the scorners: but he giveth grace unto the lowly. 35 The wise shall inherit glory: but shame shall be the promotion of fools. Lucifer (Satan) has achieved 90% of his objective to wholly seduce all of Gods' creations telling them if you do my evil surely you (your soul) will not die the second death. All democrats, republicrats GOPe, etc., are servants of Lucifer (Satan). Many will falsely claim to be Christians attend churches but their efforts are in vain. Most churches do not preach Gods' true word. The preach 'the doctrines of man', words evil man/woman want to hear. Psalm 6: 8 Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping. Luke 13: 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

I’ve learned that even though we live in a wonderful country things still need to improve. People of all colors should feel as safe as I do to walk down the street.” That passage is part book report, part white privilege mea culpa submitted to a federal court this month by Anna Morgan-Lloyd, one of the more than 500 Americans arrested for her involvement in the events at the U.S. Capitol on January 6.

The incoming Justice Department civil rights chief has a history of opposing civil rights prosecutions of black defendants, opposing a complaint against an African-American Democratic leader who discriminated against white voters. As an NAACP lawyer, Kristen Clarke lambasted the Justice Department for bringing a complaint against an African-American party boss in Mississippi who worked to suppress white votes, according to a federal probe. On a separate occasion, a federal oversight commission investigated claims that Clarke worked with allies at the Justice Department to quash the prosecution of the Black Panthers who menaced voters outside a Philadelphia precinct in 2008.

The Supreme Court late Wednesday temporarily blocked Gov. Andrew Cuomo from setting capacity limits at houses of worship in certain state-designated coronavirus hot spots. KDHE Secretary Lee Norman shared a COVID case chart with media this week, which he said shows the counties that abided by Governor Kelly’s mask mandate are ‘winning the battle.’ But he deceptively doctored the chart to justify mask mandates. (snip) At about the 15-minute mark of the recording, a reporter asks (according to Norman’s restatement of the hard-to-hear question, “If the no-mask counties would start masking, would it (blue line) drop, and would it dip down below the mask counties.” Norman said, “I think it would.” But the chart was consciously manipulated to produce that appearance by comparing the same data (cases per day) on different axes.

Worried about loose rules amid a surge in the coronavirus crisis, Democrats have urged the National Park Service to stop or slow the reopening of facilities, citing concerns about the safety of employees, visitors, and neighboring communities. That is, except one: California Rep. TJ Cox.... In emails shared by the Interior Department with the House Natural Resources Committee, Cox’s staff sought two vehicle passes of the 340 available to the public for July 4. When he was told he’d have to wait in line like others, he pushed for “preferential treatment” to get them, according to a letter calling for an Interior Department investigation.

This story is actually being urged upon me, and I find myself a bit conflicted. At first, I tried to find a reason to sympathize with whatever predicament the FBI Agents found themselves that caused them to kneel down. There is conflicting reporting about whether the Agents kneeled in order to minimize the potential for confrontation with a much larger group of protesters who were calling for them to do so, or whether the Agents were, in fact, demonstrating sympathy for the views being expressed by the protesters.

ROME — Pope Francis cracked down Friday on the spread of the old Latin Mass, reversing one of Pope Benedict XVI’s signature decisions in a major challenge to traditionalist Catholics who immediately decried it as an attack on the ancient liturgy. Francis reimposed restrictions on celebrating the Latin Mass that Benedict relaxed in 2007. The pontiff said he was taking action because Benedict’s reform had become a source of division in the church and been used as a tool by Catholics opposed to the Second Vatican Council, the 1960s meetings that modernized the liturgy. Francis issued a new law requiring individual bishops to approve celebrations of the old Mass

WASHINGTON — Two weeks after celebrating America’s near “independence” from the coronavirus, President Joe Biden is confronting the worrying reality of rising cases and deaths — and the limitations of his ability to combat the persistent vaccine hesitance responsible for the summer backslide. Cases of COVID-19 have tripled over the past three weeks, and hospitalizations and deaths are rising among unvaccinated people. While the rates are still sharply down from their January highs, officials are concerned by the reversing trendlines and what they consider needless illness and death. And cases are expected to continue to rise in coming weeks.
