M&M’s mascots get ‘refreshed’ look
to reflect ‘today’s society’

M&M’s are getting a sweet makeover in 2022. The chocolate candies that melt in your mouth and not in your hand are giving fans a new way to love their favorite treat. Mars, Incorporated announced Thursday that they will be redesigning their M&M’s mascots—the array of rainbow-colored talking chocolate balls.(Snip)“We took a deep look at our characters, both inside and out, and have evolved their look, personalities and backstories to be more representative of today’s society,” a brand representative said. “As the world changes, so do we.” The designs will soon be integrated into the company’s branding and marketing.

Comments:

The image shows clearly that the green and Brown M&Ms are now wonderful lesbians, and we all know that it's very important to expose young children to aberrant sexuality. Meanwhile, I don't buy much candy, but henceforth Mars products are banned from my home. USA wallows proudly in the ever-deepening cultural sewer while our great enemies in Russia and China ban this stuff. Makes you wonder whose side we're on.

Let’s obsess over the *equity* and *inclusiveness* of a piece of chocolate candy. Meanwhile China has overtaken USA in manufacturing and exporting, and threatening the rest of the world while Russia makes a—ugh—“minor incursion” with Ukraine and Iran moves ahead on nuclear missiles. But hey, our M & M’s are politically correct. We got that going for us huh?

When did the M&M mascots start being romantically affectionate with each other? The very notion of backstories for those characters is already too ridiculous for words. Their "as the world changes, so do we" is a bunch of bloviated hooey -- the world hasn't changed. But wokesterism absolutely needs to make it change, to fit their narrative.

FTA: "Each M&M’s shape has now also been more defined with arms and legs that are now not a tan hue, but of a lighter, more neutral shade." So lighter than tan is now a neutral, more inclusive shade? Like Beyonce and Michael Jackson, I suppose. We are the world, baby. Love the revelation of Green and Brown's lezbo relationship. T to the G they wear sneakers and lower heels now. Much more reflective of today's society.

Cleopatra was found in a dusty mall storage room outside Chicago in the late 1980s—wedged in among discarded Christmas decorations, covered in graffiti and house paint. The 3,000-pound neoclassical marble sculpture depicting the death of the Egyptian queen had once been among the most prominent artworks entered into Philadelphia’s Centennial Exhibition in 1876. Its creator, Edmonia Lewis, was both praised and condemned for capturing the royal’s suicide in such heart-stopping detail. But shortly after the world’s fair came to a close, both the Cleopatra sculpture and Lewis, who was part African American, part Native American, seemed to vanish from history.

We all knew this day was coming, even as an onslaught of “fact-checkers” assured us it was “misinformation” to assert such a change was coming publicly. But first, let’s talk about the details. CDC Dir. Rochelle Walensky appeared on CBS News and shared the news that the two-dose regiment will no longer suffice to be considered “fully vaccinated.” Instead, you will need a booster jab in order to be classified as “up to date.” That comes as part of a “pivot” in language by the government, one that many were maligned for predicting.

After a long and storied career, I would like to say that I have amassed a fortune. But not yet. However, I have faced 300-foot flame lengths as a firefighter, been asked to remove suspected anthrax from a county jail wearing nothing but a respirator mask and some rubber gloves, and been kicked out of a café in Paris because I realized I didn’t have enough money to pay for my beer (and I mean literally kicked in the ass into the gutter on the Champs-Elysées).

New Jersey has banned police officers from lingering around polling stations and ballot drop boxes on election days under a new law that advocates argued was needed to protect against voter intimidation. Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy signed the Democratic-sponsored bill into law earlier in the week after it passed the Democratic-controlled state Legislature mostly along party lines. It says both plain-clothed or uniformed police need to keep at least 100 feet from polling stations or drop boxes.
