Texas teacher puts teen in car trunk to

Chalk this one up to the fact that people have lost their damn minds during the pandemic. Last night a story was reported on local news affiliates about a Houston teacher who put her teenage son in the trunk of her car and drove to a COVID-19 testing location. She did so because he tested positive for COVID-19. Adding another layer to this crazy story is the fact that the 13-year-old boy’s mother is a teacher. She’s on administrative leave now. And she has a warrant out for her arrest. Sarah Beam has been charged with endangering a child. Cy-Fair ISD Police Department said a warrant has been issued for her arrest.

Who knew that one of the warnings Pfizer should put on the "vaccine" labels would be: "Don't put your children in your car trunk!!" There are times I just know 90% of the people walking around out there don't have the brains God gave a goose. This is one of them.

Lets not kid each other. We have all witnessed this mind set during our daily lives in person and online. The glassy-eyed, slack jawed, shrill leftists who never ever think first about what they are doing. Life not going the way you like it, or expect it? Drive your SUV off a cliff and into the ocean to kill all your 5 adopted children of color and your lesbian "wife". That fixes it. Other people have it better than you? Punish them right now so that we can all live in a paradise in your mind that you aren't willing to work for. And the list goes on.

If this is how she treats her own child, think how she would treat someone else's child. She should not be in the teaching profession and certainly not have charge over children.

For a kid's own mom to do that to him, I feel deeply sorry for that kid. The crazy is coming out in droves, and this kid paid the price. I can only imagine what it is like in her classroom. {{{sigh}}} Parts of Texas are getting as ludicrous as some parts of Florida are when it comes to crazy behavior.

New York — Michael Lang, a co-creator and promoter of the 1969 Woodstock music festival that served as a touchstone for generations of music fans, has died. Michael Pagnotta, a spokesperson for Lang’s family, said Sunday the 77-year-old had been battling non-Hodgkin lymphoma and passed away Saturday at New York’s Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. “He was absolutely an historic figure, and also a great guy,” Pagnotta, who said he had known Lang for about 30 years, told The Associated Press. “Both of those thing go hand in hand.” Along with partners Artie Kornfeld, John Roberts and Joel Rosenman, Lang put together the festival billed as “three days of peace and music”

New York — More than 800,000 noncitizens and “Dreamers” in New York City will have access to the ballot box — and could vote in municipal elections as early as next year — after Mayor Eric Adams allowed legislation to automatically become law Sunday. Opponents have vowed to challenge the new law, which the City Council approved a month ago. Unless a judge halts its implementation, New York City is the first major U.S. city to grant widespread municipal voting rights to noncitizens. More than a dozen communities across the U.S. already allow noncitizens to cast ballots in local elections, including 11 towns in Maryland and two in Vermont. CORRECTION*

President Joe Biden will mark the end of his first 12 months in office with the singular record of holding fewer news conferences than any of his five immediate predecessors at the equivalent point in their tenure. The lack of public scrutiny is reflected in abysmal personal approval ratings that have sunk to levels never before seen by other recent Oval Office inhabitants, as Breitbart News reported. According to figures compiled by the Associated Press (AP), Biden has done just 22 media interviews, fewer than any of his six most recent White House predecessors at the same mark in their respective presidencies.

To competently manage any situation, accurate information is a requirement. Americans require precise data about the COVID pandemic to analyze the performance of our leaders and assess personal risk. Unfortunately, it is becoming more apparent that the corporate media and public health officials have subjected us to inaccurate data and word games for the last two years. We all remember the CNN death ticker that ran until Joe Biden’s inauguration, and Americans are still subjected to regular hysteria about hospitalizations and cases. One new statistic from New York is just the tip of the iceberg on how the “experts” have manipulated some Americans into mass hysteria.

Joe Biden and the Democrats need to give up the ghost on Build Back Better already. But the Democrats just don’t seem to be able to quit it. I guess the bottom line is that they don’t have much to promote themselves for re-election with, as we go into the midterms. They don’t have much that they can pitch to their base that they’ve done that’s positive. Not that BBB would be positive, but the leftist base would like it. But if the last word from Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) wasn’t enough on Tuesday saying it’s not happening, now there’s more.

The liberal wing of the Supreme Court embarrassed itself Friday with a slew of false claims about COVID-19 during oral arguments over Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates. For example, Justice Stephen Breyer claimed hospitals are at capacity because of unvaccinated Americans with COVID. This is false. But perhaps the most ridiculous false claim from a Supreme Court justice came from Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who falsely claimed that 100,000 children are in “serious condition” from COVID. “We have hospitals that are almost at full capacity with people severely ill on ventilators. We have over 100,000 children, which we’ve never had before, in serious condition, and many on ventilators,” Sotomayor claimed.

Biden also received record-high (56 percent) disapproval from the poll, with nine percent having no opinion. The poll showed Biden with net approval of negative 20. This comes as Biden has been in office just less than a year and has dealt with a host of problems so far: a supply chain crisis, record-high inflation, and botched Afghanistan withdrawal. Biden had the lowest job approval among the 18- to 34-year-old age group, as 27 percent and 58 percent disapprove.

As for Friday, some schools have already decided to cancel, and a district-wide announcement is expected Thursday night. The district’s administration referred to the union’s stunt as an “illegal work stoppage.”

Most people look at the choice of Kamala Harris for Vice President and scratch their head. “Why would anyone pick a person so wildly devoid of political talent or even the basics of likability?” they wonder. The conventional wisdom is that she checked the right number of boxes to fulfill left-wing interest group demands, which is partially true, of course. Overlooked, however, is how there is one more, rather good and important reason Joe Biden, or really any politician, would pick someone like Harris: because by comparison, you’ll always look better. Harris is such a singularly grating personality that she polls lower than lemon juice on an open wound.

"I do think in places that we are seeing this really steep incline, that we may well see also a precipitous decline, but we're also a much bigger country than South Africa," Walensky said in a briefing with reporters.

Hospitalizations of U.S. children under 5 with COVID-19 soared in recent weeks to their highest level since the pandemic began, according to government data released Friday on the only age group not yet eligible for the vaccine. The worrisome trend in children too young to be vaccinated underscores the need for older kids and adults to get their shots to help protect those around them, said Dr. Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Since mid-December, with the highly contagious omicron variant spreading furiously around the country, the hospitalization rate in these youngest kids has surged to more than 4 in 100,000 children, up from 2.5 per 100,000.
