Psaki: Biden has no ‘time to think’
despite frequent trips home

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said Wednesday that President Biden thinks he needs more downtime—despite the fact that he’s spent more than a quarter of his days in office at one of his Delaware homes. “I know the president doesn’t have public events today,” Psaki told reporters during her regular briefing. “He does have a number of meetings with policy teams and that’s often what he’s doing behind the scenes.” “If he were standing here today—which I know he’s always invited, is what you guys will say, but he would say we never give him any free time or any time to think,” the press secretary added.

Comments:

Maybe not, but according to Camilla Parker Bowles, Duchess of Cornwall, Flatulent Joe the renowned diplomat has plenty of time to stink.

His puppeteers do his thinking. No need for Joe to do it even if he were capable of doing so. (He's not.)

You have to actually have a brain to think. I assume the only thing he can think about is what kind of ice cream he will be having as a before bedtime snack. And that's fine for dementia grandpa but not the POTUS.

A new poll finds that most U.S. likely voters believe American society and culture is in decline—including large majorities of self-identified Democrats, Republicans and independents. The survey by the Trafalgar Group revealed that 76.8% of respondents from all political affiliations said that “American society and culture is in a state of decay,” compared to only 9.8% who said “a state of progress.” The remaining 13.4% said they were unsure. Voters on both sides of the aisle are unhappy with the current state of hot-button social and culture war issues for different reasons, said pollster Robert Cahaly, who founded Trafalgar Group in 2016.

Below is my column in the Hill on the continued calls to disqualify Republican members of Congress to prevent them from running for reelection. What is maddening is that Democratic groups and commentators are seeking to remove as many as 120 Republicans from the ballots in the name of democracy. It is like burning books in the name of literacy. Yet, on this anniversary of the January 6th riot, members of Congress and Democratic groups want to block voters from reelecting their preferred representatives.
