Mayor Eric Adams had tough words for Queens cops on his first day on the job, warning the bad apples that he’ll bounce them from the NYPD if they’re “abusive to my community,” video obtained by The Post shows. The former NYPD captain-turned-politician and newly minted Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell paid a visit to the 103rd Precinct in Jamaica on New Year’s Day, making a brief media appearance outside. Reporters were not allowed inside the stationhouse for Adams and Sewell’s visit. But footage from inside, and reviewed by The Post Thursday, shows the new mayor did not mince words when he spoke to the officers

Just like when Obama said that Muslims were “my people. I will always stand with the Muslims!” Enjoy the suck, New Yawk. You got yourself a doozy of a mayor there. How demoralizing for any decent cop in the city. The blacks will freely define just about any police encounter as “abusive.”

Cops should just sit in their car or just keep driving around. Never stop anyone about anything. Not worth it. If they do ANYTHING THEY wind up in jail and the criminals go free anyway.

FTA: he spoke to the officers at the same precinct where he was allegedly abused as a teen.
“I was beaten,” Adams told the cops, the video shows.
He was born in 1960, alleged beating happened when he was a teenager so some time before 1980. I wonder how many of the current officers were even born before 1980, what happened to Adams is ancient history to these cops.

Surely did not take long to find out what and who this guy stands for. First time I heard him speak, said to my Wife, he wants New York to be a "Chocolate city", 'a la Ray Nagin, former mayor of New Orleans and a convicted felon. New Yorker's will get what they voted for----in spades with this guy running things. This makes it two idiots in a row now for New York.

New boss same as the old boss--maybe even worse.
Glad I have no reason to enter the socio/political cesspool of NY City. On my trip to Maine I get as close as the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge. Bonus is I totally avoid New Jersey also.

Adams, you have to warn them? You've got to be kidding me. Were they former DC capitol police?

Between Braggard and Adams this town will never recover from the damage Wilhelm did. Is anyone checking out who voted for Braggard and checked for voter fraud? I understand few people voted, so NYC got what they deserved.

Meet the new boss, same as the old boss......
And the electorate sheep walk around saying, Baa Baa, we thought it would be different.
Yes, it is different. The cesspool is continuing to expand. The sheep were afraid to challenge the lies thrown at them.
Enjoy!

It's a good bet that most New Yorkers are more afraid of their District Attorney than their cops.

Hey citizens of our nation’s largest city you’ve got yourselves another “winner” here. All I have to say is good luck with that. As for the NYPD keep protecting and serving because it looks like once again you’ll have zero backing from Gracie Mansion.

My father was from NYC and firmly believed that the order was well maintained by police who knew how to crack a few skulls when needed. This new mayor is not going to work out well.

I don't have a dog in this fight, and I don't know enough about Adams to ask a question. One thing is certain; his name is neither Cuomo nor Clinton.

Adams time would have been better spent warning his own people not to commit crimes every time you turn around.

Who gets to define what is abusive? The lawyers of the criminals?

By abusive, he means saying things like "you're under arrest" or "please don't do that". Certainly don't want too offend the parasites who voted for me.
