MINNEAPOLIS - A young family was carjacked at gunpoint at their home in south Minneapolis by a group of apparent teenagers. The carjacking took place on the morning of Dec. 18. However, newly surfaced surveillance video reveals the group of suspects and black SUV getaway car. "All of us mentally have walked away extremely scared and traumatized," said the owner of the car, who requested to conceal her name out of fear for her family’s safety. She said the group of apparent teenagers attacked her boyfriend in the garage before he had a chance to close the garage door.

Comments:

This is the type of crime victim that is ignored and hung out to dry by Progressives. The family is now living in abject fear on a daily basis. To add insult to injury the car was found and is locked up in the city's impound lot due to the huge backlog of stolen cars.

We lived in the suburbs of Minneapolis 1980-1984. It felt like the safest most family oriented place at the time, I believe that 1% of the population was considered minority and most of that demographic was Native American, I went to my son’s library class one day and noted every child was blonde or redhead. Liberals have destroyed this part of Minnesota. If you think diversity is the solution to today’s problems all you have to do is compare the Minneapolis we knew in the early 1980s to today. That part of the state has been Balkanized.

Yes, go ahead and "defund" the police - who needs them. The entire State of Minnesota has become run by thugs from Somalia and black lives matter.

The victim's response is SO WOKE. She is a natural born victim. She thinks this is a social issue where the kids just don't have nuthin to do. "Nobody wakes up wanting to be a carjacker". Lady, these monsters wake up wanting to kill you. The only solution is the .45 solution. They are zombies already.

The silly woman will not be dissuaded from voting Democrat. The problem is in The Community, not in "our community," except to the extent that people like her keep making excuses for what should be deportable behavior, which only begets more victims. FTA: "When I think about these crimes I keep thinking that no child wakes up thinking that they want to be a carjacker … or committing violent crimes," she said. "I think it’s a symptom of some pretty serious problems we have in our community and our lack of support for these kids and for the impoverished and I feel like if I don’t speak up, if the other victims don’t speak up – what change will come?"

Sorry but this woman is delusional. You see the problem is black crime. The problem is lack of parental control, a total failure on the part of black parents. And, these thugs do it because there are no consequences in liberal cities no matter what crime is committed including carrying illegal guns. Wake up. Get it yet.

Victim calls the Perps "Victims"... after getting beaten, robbed, carjacked at GUNPOINT...in front of their children, INSIDE their OWN home. "I think it’s a symptom of some pretty serious problems we have in our community and our lack of support for these kids and for the impoverished" The "Kids" were driving a nicer car than the one they stole, likely $1000 worth of shoes on their feet, another grand easy in their designer down coats, a $grand apiece in cell phones. It's a good thing someone smarter killed down the wolf numbers before these little lambs moved into that country.

All anyone who wants a car needs to do is carjack one, use it and dump it. No one will do anything about it. I have lived within a 5 mile radius of where I was born my entire life. We marked the time between crimes in years not hours. A few months ago a woman was carjacked while waiting in the drivethru line at Wendy's. She was shot and is now paralyzed. Last week we had a gunfight at one of the nicest shopping center in the Chicago area. I worked there for 15 years. After 3 hours of shoppers and employees "locked down," 2 were in custody and 1 at large. Hours of wall to wall local coverage that night and it hasn't been mentioned since. There were petty crimes but nothing so dangerous to the public. It was also the site of a major smash and grab at the Louis Vuitton store. They all got away. There was a carjacking at the local Walmart, and a local cop shot a guy at the BMW dealer just last night as he was about to get run over. Each crime was adjacent to a major expressway. Once on it they get on they can go anywhere. The stole cars usually end up on the south-side of Chicago. So far there has been a common denominator in each of these incidents. I really hate that fact because it is making me have negative feelings about a specific race. I don't want to go there. Please allow the police to go back to catching criminals, the courts to go back to prosecuting people who break the law and protect the innocent, or things will really get ugly.

She's worried about the lack of support for these kids? I've lost interest in this crime and this woman. Think about it, liberal lady! You've donated a car to the poor! This was a good thing! Because, of course, now that their momma has a car to go shipping with, these underserved lads will surely never rob again. (On a serious note -- this ditz was right not to give her name. The hoods and their friends know she'a a mark -- these types tend to hit the same house again very quickly..)

Did those apparent teenagers meet the skin color starting point where the leftist and socialist Democrats could pin a tag on them as being White Supremacists? I don’t think so, as if they were White teens the leftist and socialist Democrats in Minnesota would have been making a federal case out of that armed robbery. No doubt that woman’s real solution, while blaming herself, to obviate future car jacking situations is for the government (taxpayers) to purchase every potential car jacker from the “community” a brand new electric motor vehicle so they would not have to resort to car jacking armed robberies in the future to catch just to joyride around the “community”.

That is, whenever she makes an official appearance, this music is played for her, just as Hail to the Chief is played when the president appears. Someone within the Marine Corps band wrote it, although there is some dispute as to whether the White House requested such music or the Marine Corps band members spontaneously felt that Jill needed that special song.

This marks the first time since 1931 that GM isn’t the top-selling automaker in the states. Before them, Ford was number one. This marks the first time in history that the top-selling carmaker in the United States is a foreign company. Toyota has been at the top of global sales for a decade,
