President Joe Biden blamed alternative media sources on Tuesday for convincing Americans to refuse the coronavirus vaccines.
“The unvaccinated are responsible for their own choices, but those choices have been fueled by dangerous misinformation on cable tv and social media,” Biden said.
The president spoke about the spike in coronavirus cases as a result of the omicron variant of the virus, and repeatedly urged Americans to get vaccinated.
He criticized media figures and influencers for “peddling lies” to make money off of their audience, which he argued endangered their lives.
“It’s wrong. It’s immoral. I call on the purveyors of these lies and misinformation to stop it. Stop it now!”

On Monday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Don Lemon Tonight,” Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) stated that Sen. Joe Manchin’s (D-WV) opposition to the Build Back Better reconciliation bill is “an example of Joe Manchin, as a white man, showing that he doesn’t care about black people, he doesn’t care about Latinos, he doesn’t care about immigrants, he doesn’t care about women, and he doesn’t care about the poor.”
Bowman said Manchin and his “special interests, his donors, and lobbyists were cutting the bill for several months. Because they did not want this bill to pass. Why? Because this bill disproportionately supports people of color. It supports people of color. It supports women.

A high school student’s hope to see his mom for Christmas became a reality thanks to an anonymous donor in Anderson County, Tennessee.
Clinch River Community School (CRCS) is located behind Anderson County High School in Clinton and is known as the district’s alternative school, WMAZ reported Wednesday.
However, the school is also a very special place, Assistant Principal Nate Stecker told the outlet.
Students may choose to attend, and some enroll because of smaller classes and the teacher-to-student ratio.
“We love these students, and we want to make sure that they have a good experience with a school setting,” Stecker explained.
Sixteen-year-old Richard Coker attends because he was drawn to the smaller classes.

The apparent small rebound for Joe Biden’s approval numbers may turn out to be a dead-cat bounce. A new poll published yesterday for PBS and NPR from Marist puts Biden’s job approval rating at its lowest yet, at 41/55. That’s certainly bad enough, but the news from independents is much worse, and not just for Biden:
As President Joe Biden heads into the end of the year, he’s facing a sour reality: The number of Americans who approve of his performance has hit a new low. Just 41 percent of Americans approve

Addressing the public Tuesday, President Joe Biden blamed the Covid-19 test shortage on the rapid ascent of the Omicron variant, which sprouted in South Africa just after Thanksgiving and has since swept the nation with astounding speed.
A number of reporters relayed the concerns of citizens who have been unable to obtain Covid-19 tests due to insufficient inventory ahead of Christmas.
“What’s your message to Americans who are trying to get tested now and who are not able to get tested and who are wondering what took so long to ramp up testing?” a reporter asked the president.
Biden replied: “C’mon, what took so long?

We reported earlier about the speech Joe Biden would make today and what it was likely to cover.
But when he finally gave his remarks today, it was bad. He was coughing throughout his remarks.White House Press Psaki Jen Psaki told reporters he was “asymptomatic” after having been exposed to a staffer who had COVID but he’s continued his regular schedule after only having one negative test. “He’s asymptomatic. I spent several hours with him this morning and he is feeling great,” she said. He’s supposed to get another test tomorrow. That made a lot of people think he was positive because you usually don’t use the term “asymptomatic” unless

As RedState reported earlier, Joe Biden gave a speech today in which he outlined his “plan” to combat the Omicron variant of COVID-19. Included were outright lies about what is happening in South Africa, where the actual data shows dropping hospitalization rates despite the nation’s heavy caseload.
That Biden would take such an approach is hardly surprising. Like many others in positions of power, he sees the coronavirus as a perpetual crisis from which to benefit. Because Omicron’s apparent lack of virulence points toward a way out of the pandemic, the desperation in the president’s rhetoric must escalate. That’s because he needs a scapegoat for his failed policies,

Credit President Joe Biden with not hitting the panic button in his speech on the Omicron wave — but that’s about it.
The prez rightly noted this isn’t March 2020, and no new lockdowns should be necessary. But that was the closest he came to anything original.
And it serves his interests: Declaring a new crisis would highlight how badly he’s failed on his 2020 vow to “shut down the virus.” It’s now clear that he thought then that all he’d need to do was continue distributing the vaccines developed before he took office, that’s it. (Hence his declaration in July that we’d achieved “independence from COVID-19” because vaccinations were going well.)

Flying cars are still the stuff of Jetsonian dreams, but self-driving cars are already here. But these semi-autonomous vehicles come with a host of issues. For instance, they must be able to deal with the erratic driving behaviors of humans, as well as unexpected obstacles on the road, such as a wild deer crossing the highway. But a critical though lesser discussed problem associated with self-driving cars involves surveillance. These vehicles look likely to be used as surveillance tools, closely monitoring our every move. Worse still, China, a country that has expanded mass surveillance and integrated it into every part of Chinese life, is leading the self-driving revolution.

Less than one year since he assumed office, Joe Biden has managed to turn his presidency into a deeply unpopular monarchy. No longer is he the genial but generally harmless buffoon who entertained most of us while he was in Congress with his mispronunciations, misquotes, and embellished tales of dubious authenticity. As a result of the 2020 presidential election that was, at best, questionable, Biden was elevated well past his ability, and he proceeded to wreck virtually everything he touched as leader of the free world.

While ancillary issues like cancel culture and critical race theory further the divide between Democratic elites and American voters—and, indeed, electability—the top issue in 2022 has always been and will continue to be the economy. Pocketbook issues always matter most, especially now and regardless of the daily social media cycle.
On that score, President Biden has every reason to be concerned. Even Democrats can’t paint a rosy picture for 2022, hence the likes of NPR predicting a “red wave.”

For Biden, a day of Covid Reckoning is coming. President Joe Biden has come up with a new set of measures to deal with the surge in COVID cases. The plan, which focuses mostly on assisting hospitals, home testing, and promoting vaccinations, is the latest evidence that Biden, who during the presidential campaign portrayed himself as an experienced leader who knew how to handle the pandemic, was not, in fact, prepared to handle the pandemic.
The simple fact is, Biden has failed to live up to his promises to control the pandemic. During his second debate with then-President Donald Trump, Biden pledged to "shut down the virus."

Vladimir Putin has warned he is willing to take 'military measures' in response to 'unfriendly' Western action in Ukraine, in the clearest sign yet that the Russian strongman is gearing up for war.Putin, speaking during a meeting at the defence ministry on Tuesday, said Russia will 'react toughly to unfriendly steps' and stressed 'that we have every right to do so.'America has been warning for weeks that Putin appears to be readying tens of thousands of troops, tanks and artillery pieces to invade Ukraine, but Putin has insisted it is merely a defence force - until now.

Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious disease expert, on Tuesday called on Fox News to fire host Jesse Watters for targeting him with violent rhetoric at a conservative conference earlier this week.
“That’s awful that he said that. And he’s going to go, very likely, unaccountable,” Fauci told CNN of Watters’ remarks. “I mean, whatever network he’s on is not going to do anything for him. I mean, that’s crazy. The guy should be fired on the spot.”
Speaking on Monday at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest conference, Watters encouraged attendees to rhetorically “ambush” Fauci with dubious questions about the National Institutes of Health allegedly funding “gain-of-function”

This fascinating series of vintage photographs shows how New Yorkers were preparing for Christmas over a hundred years ago.The pictures - taken between 1900 and 1916 - feature everyday scenes of people in The Big Apple during the festive season. They document Manhattan streets thronged with shoppers, as well as images of street hawkers selling their seasonal wares. Other highlights include children eagerly window shopping and crowds gathered around an outdoor Christmas tree in Madison Square Park. The park is reputed to be the site of the United States' first public Christmas tree lighting ceremony in December of 1912.

General Mills is taking in more money but also spending more as the cost for everything from oats to cardboard continues to rise, denting the food maker's profit. The company, like all of its peers, has raised consumer prices on its food products—but it's not enough to offset increased expenses caused by supply chain backlogs and inflation. The Golden Valley-based packaged food giant on Tuesday reported its quarterly earnings fell 13% for the second quarter, ended Nov. 28.(Snip)General Mills has seen double-digit price increases for raw and packaging materials; the index price of oats has more than doubled in the past year,

Joe Biden is set to speak today on his “new” COVID measures. But while we don’t have a scheduled time on that yet because the White House obviously has to make sure he’s physically capable before they trot him out there, we do have the details of what he’s going to say.
This morning, the administration released a document that included a lot of the same. Nothing listed here strikes me as making a difference, nor does the data support the need to battle Omicron in this way.
The entire thing reads like a weird mix of stolen credit and humble-bragging.

Authorities in Qatar have seized a line of what they called 'un-Islamic' children's toys that feature rainbow patterns similar to LGBT flags. The small oil-rich peninsular will host next year's football World Cup, and despite repeated assertions by authorities that anyone will be welcome to visit for the tournament, homosexuality remains illegal in the conservative Muslim emirate.
The line of rainbow coloured children's toys were confiscated from stores, with officials saying they were contrary to 'Islamic values'. The emirate's commerce and industry ministry did not spell out its objection to the rainbow colours, but some of the toys bore a colour scheme very similar to the LGBTQ flag.

Bette Midler has been forced to apologize after sparking mass outrage for branding the entire state of West Virginia “poor, illiterate and strung out.” The 76-year-old diva used the less than divine choice of words for the Mountain State in a Twitter shot at rebel Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin for torpedoing President Biden’s multitrillion-dollar spending plans. “What #JoeManchin, who represents a population smaller than Brooklyn, has done to the rest of America, who wants to move forward, not backward, like his state, is horrible. He sold us out,” the “Beaches” legend tweeted Monday. “He wants us all to be just like his state, West Virginia.

The Biden administration is finally looking to crackdown on the nation’s fentanyl crisis. It seems to be picking up the pace in his efforts to get illicit drugs coming in through the southern border out of America. On Sunday, Biden’s administrator of the Drug Enforcement Agency, Anne Milgram, sounded the alarm on fentanyl-laced products plaguing the nation. She said nefarious Chinese actors are sending chemicals to Mexican drug cartels to make the synthetic drug and the cartels are mass producing fentanyl-laced products as well as trafficking them into the U.S. “Right now those chemicals are largely sourced from China, they’re going to the Mexican criminal drug cartels

If you read that headline and immediately asked yourself, Is this guy serious!? Well, the answer is yes. Dr. Anthony Fauci is 100% serious. To high-ranking government people like Fauci, you, the average workaday American, does not know what is best for yourself and your family. You must be told what to do, even if it means being pounded over the head repeatedly. All we can do is pray that Donald Trump takes back the White House in 2024 and boots Fauci and his ilk far, far away from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.WATCH:

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer is furious with Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.). Over the weekend, Manchin told “Fox News Sunday” that he would not be supporting the Build Back Better (BBB) Act due to concerns about the actual costs of the programs in an inflationary environment. “What we need to do is get our financial house in order, but be able to pay for what we do and do what we pay for,” he said. Manchin also noted he was unable to justify a vote in favor of the “mammoth” piece of legislation to his constituents, despite being in favor of selected elements of it.”

A few days after the 2020 presidential election, President-elect Joe Biden pledged to be “a president who seeks not to divide but to unify,” a theme he’d campaigned on. “Let this grim era of demonization in America begin to end here and now,” he said in his victory speech. “It’s time to put away the harsh rhetoric, lower the temperature, see each other again, listen to each other again.”
So much for all that. As Biden’s first year in office comes to a close, he has proven to be one of the most divisive presidents in generations,

The accepted wisdom amongst conservatives is that Joe Biden is a demented buffoon who is under the control of a leftist cabal in the White House, the individual members of which are unknown. However, Don Surber, who is one of the conservative blogosphere’s most astute political writers, has a different theory. He thinks that Biden is a savvy political operative as evidenced by a successful political career that has spanned almost 50 years. (snip) "Voters and pundits misread Biden. They thought they were getting a harmless and befuddled old man (snip) He knows how to stage and frame his presidency."

On the heels of its decision to postpone many of its games through December, the NHL is also now contemplating withdrawing its players from the Beijing Olympics, all because of its concerns over the coronavirus.
The National Hockey League had intended to take a three-week break in February to make room to send its players to Beijing for China’s “genocide” Olympics. Still, after delaying as many as 40 games this year over fears about the coronavirus, the make-up games have put the Olympics in doubt.

It’s Christmas week and most Americans are focused on family, travel, presents, and, hopefully, the true meaning of the holiday. Vladimir Putin’s mind, however, seems to be focused on putting his boot on Ukraine. Meanwhile, our cognitively challenged president will spend much of the this week unaware of what day it is while the world might be descending into the opening shots of the next world war.
Putin, Russia’s “president,” has had Ukraine on his brain for some time. The West, with good reason, fears he will invade the former Soviet satellite, which wants to be a part of

A House Democrat blamed President Biden’s White House for not holding anybody "accountable" for the multiple crises plaguing America, saying it "started with Afghanistan."
The lawmaker eviscerated Biden over the multiple political pit traps the administration has dug itself into. Specifically, the lawmaker took aim at the White House over its handling of the botched Afghanistan withdrawal that saw 13 U.S. service members killed in the Kabul suicide bombing in August.

Democrats claim that democracy is under attack in America and Democrats must act decisively to protect it. They’ve been trying to end the filibuster, nationalize voting, and pack the Supreme Court. The most ominous “fix,” which hinges on the myth of a “January 6 Insurrection,” sees retired generals argue that the military must purge the ranks of Trump supporters and prepare for a military coup to block a future contested election. This is unconstitutional, illegal, and spells the end of American democracy.
