The other day, in an interview with NBC News, Hillary Clinton went public with a warning -- or was it a dog whistle to Democrats and the left? It might be an instance of Hillary’s mouth running ahead of her brain, but don’t count on it. Hillary is a coldly calculating woman -- and that might be one of her better qualities.
Hillary suggested that if Trump or “someone of his ilk” is elected president in 2024, then American democracy is kaput. Foolishness? Knowing the conceits and delusions that infect her intended audience, her suggestion might not seem ludicrous.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the top US expert on infectious disease, has urged Americans to disinvite unvaccinated people from Christmas gatherings as the fast-spreading COVID-19 Omicron variant fuels a surge in infections nationwide. 'We're dealing with a serious enough situation now that if there's an unvaccinated person, I would say, 'I'm very sorry, but not this time. Maybe another time when this is all over," said Fauci in an interview with MSNBC on Tuesday night.(Snip)Meanwhile, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky appeared to contradict President Joe Biden by insisting that the current surge in cases was expected, after Biden said on Tuesday that 'the Omicron virus spread even more rapidly

As he challenges Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton for the state’s top law enforcement post, Land Commissioner George P. Bush has expanded his agency’s traditionally limited role in border security and immigration, top issues for Republican primary voters.
Bush, who met with law enforcement officials and residents along the border earlier this month on a four-day “Secure the Border” tour, also ventured onto Paxton’s turf

Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby announced a new "extremism" policy being rolled out by the Pentagon under President Biden and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin on Monday that the Department of Defense says provides "increased clarity" on what amounts to "extremist activities" or "prohibited activity" by service members. While Kirby "emphasized" that "the Department is focused on prohibited activity, not on a particular ideology, thought or political orientation," the new guidelines create a broad definition for "active participation." Two thousand years ago, a carpenter lived a conventional life for 30 years in a tiny village in the Middle East. Then he somehow became as they might say today, “radicalized.”
Historians agree that Jesus did exist. There are reliable ancient records of him. But most of what we know are opaque and contradictory accounts written decades after his death in what we now call the Gospel of the New Testament.
In one sense, those Gospel accounts are profoundly simple. They say Jesus was the Messiah prophesized in the Hebrew Bible. As such, he performed miracles to save those needing saving. He came back from the dead. That’s the word.

DC Metropolitan Police officer Michael Fanone, who was attacked during the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol in Washington, DC, has handed in his resignation and will become a law enforcement commentator at CNN following his departure. 41-year-old Fanone resigned Monday, slamming his fellow police officers within the department by stating that many of their allegiances are with former President Donald Trump, not the Constitution, according to the Daily Mail. [snip] Fanone often appeared on national TV, most frequently on CNN. His appearances on the news channel did not impress his colleagues, who reportedly then mocked him in internal chat rooms, Fanone told The Washington Post.

Dr Anthony Fauci slammed Fox News personalities and leading anti-vaxxer Robert F Kennedy Jr for making 'inflammatory' statements about him that he says have 'accelerated' death threats against him and his family.
During a wide-ranging interview with Yahoo! News on Tuesday, Fauci also took a swipe at RFK Jr, the anti-vaxxer lawyer son of the late US attorney general and senator from New York Robert Kennedy, who last month published a book filled with wild conspiracy theories targeting Fauci and Bill Gates.
Fauci added that 'inflammatory statements' made by RFK Jr and 'Fox media personalities' have 'accelerated' the threats...

The Air Force will allow members to put their preferred pronouns in their electronic signatures to become more "inclusive," despite some denouncing the move as "a joke."Air Force members can use the pronouns he/him, she/her, or they/them in their signatures during military correspondence, according to the Stars and Stripes . Undersecretary of the Air Force Gina Ortiz Jones applauded the changes in a statement on Monday, stating that "an inclusive force" is a "mission-ready force."However, the move was denounced by some as "ridiculous.""In an effort to overtake the Navy as the most ridiculous military branch, the Air Force has now started putting pronouns in official document signature blocks.
