Boston Mayor Michelle Wu announced Monday the city will implement a proof of vaccine requirement for restaurants and other indoor venues. The proof of vaccination requirement for indoor venues, including restaurants, fitness centers and entertainment venues, will begin on Jan. 15 for everyone ages 12 and older, according to a City of Boston press release. All city employees will also be required to prove vaccination unless granted a medical or religious exemption. “Vaccines are the most powerful tool we have to fight this pandemic,” Wu said in the press release.

Insanity. Not only is this approach unsustainable, it's going to come back and bite them. The sheep don't mind, the non-sheep do.

And yet, this Magic Shot does NOT prevent infection, transmission or serious illness from this virus. They PRETEND that these clot enhancing shots protect like real vaccines when there is massive evidence that they don't even remotely act like a vaccine.

That's called cutting off your nose to spite your face. Tax revenue's will be down. So, of course, in Tax-achusettes they'll need to raise the rates. Especially as more businesses go under due to blatant local government interference in free commerce. You get what you vote for or allow to be counted as winning, Boston-ites!

That's OK by me. I banned personal travel to Boston decades ago. I was last there in about 1990 on a buying trip to a couple of big computer companies, we were selecting a supercomputer. It was in the fall and the trees were changing, very pretty. And too many of the folks were smug leftists then to suit me. Clearly it's worse now. I can't think of any reason to ever want to return.

With the Senate tied 50-50, just a few key races will decide which party controls Congress’ upper chamber for the last two years of President Joe Biden’s first term. In addition to key pieces of legislation, executive and judicial nominees will depend on whether Democrats can maintain control, or Republicans take over. Here are five of the most important Senate races to watch during the midterms: Pennsylvania Republican Pat Toomey is retiring after two terms, and his seat is one of just two up for election where the current holder is of a different party than the candidate who won the state in 2020.

As the Biden administration continues to fumble its response to the latest wave of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic, threats of additional restrictions are looming. Last night, President Joe Biden told reporters he would implement a vaccine requirement for domestic flights if his medical team recommended it. Earlier this week, Dr. Anthony Fauci did just that. The main problem, in addition to unconstitutional decrees issued by public health officials, is Americans have lost faith in the medical establishment to be honest and follow the science when issuing recommendations.

Discussion surrounding Merck’s newly-authorized COVID-19 pill, molnupiravir, has mostly concerned the risk it might pose to pregnant women. But some experts worry it could also lead to the outbreak of a new variant of the virus it’s designed to treat. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted emergency use authorization to two antiviral pills to treat COVID-19 this week, one from Pfizer (paxlovid) and another from Merck (molnupiravir). The Pfizer EUA was generally lacking in controversy, but the authorization of molnupiravir was far more contentious.

Seriously ill patients facing death from late stage COVID infection increasingly face hospital protocols that have a terrible record of saving lives. In fact, nearly all such patients die. This explains why over 1,200 Americans are dying every day from COVID. In a week, more people die from late stage COVID than died in the 9/11 attacks. Yet this is not major news on mainstream media outlets. Getting used to COVID deaths has produced complacency rather than rage. As we approach 800,000 COVID related deaths in the US it is important to note that many and probably most of these occur in a hospital.

Younger people have become disenchanted with President Joe Biden, the septuagenarian rapidly losing support with the demographic who was wary of him during the 2020 Democratic primary. On average, fewer than 3 in 10 adults under the age of 30 approve of Biden's job performance as president, and a majority disapproves, according to online polling conducted by the Economist and YouGov. Biden's net negative 21 approval rating with the demographic is his worst among any age group, the organizations found. On top of that, Biden has a net negative 17 rating among people aged between 30 and 44.

The U.S. Constitution is the sacred text of American government and civic life. But it’s time to face facts: The document, written in 1787, isn’t working. The signs are all around us. Just 38 percent of Americans in a recent Gallup poll expressed either a “great deal” or “quite a lot” of confidence in the presidency, down from 48 percent in 2001. Congress, never high in the public’s estimation to begin with, fell from 26 percent to a mere 12 percent. Joe and Jill Biden have worn masks to walk their dog alone on a beach while on their Delaware vacation. The Bidens - who are booster vaccinated - covered their faces for no apparent reason as they took their German Shepherd puppy, Commander, for a walk along a deserted Rehoboth Beach on Tuesday evening. The President, 79, even continued to wear his mask after the First Lady, 70, took hers off. It's not clear who Biden believed he was protecting or who he felt he needed protection from as the only other people on the beach, the secret service, didn't come within 10 yards.
