Last week Politico published a story about the moderate Democratic group Third Way, specifically their efforts to figure out what went wrong for Dems in Virginia’s most recent election. You may recall that story because one unnamed Democratic strategist offered a memorable assessment of House Democrats’ efforts to pass the BBB bill after the Virginia election: “Too late. We’re f**ked!” Today, the NY Times published an interview with the democratic pollster who carried out those Virginia focus groups. His name is Bryan Stryker and his memo summing up what he learned from them has apparently spread far and wide among Democrats. He is still trying to sound the alarm

Your national brand is Communist Criminal Party. That is the brand you carry, the brand you develop every day, so it must not be a problem for the Democrat Party, as that is what they do.

Branding? Branding isn’t the problem. It is what these Leftists stand for that is the problem. It is anti-American and the rule of law. It’s not the wrapper on this loaf of bread. It’s the bread inside that’s moldy and rotting and filled with bugs.

Branding problem, I guess. I probably see it differently. Democrats want to brand Republicans. Kind of like when a herd of cows are branded. Vaccine mandate and vaccine database come to mind. What if it was an immigration status mandate and vaccine database? What if it was an abortion status mandate and database? What if it was a HIV status mandate and database? I could go on and on but Democrats are trying very hard to obtain power and keep it. At all costs. It is about superiority through elitism.

Irony is usually bitter but occasionally sweet. In choosing the bland (they thought), inoffensive, anodyne Joe Biden as their vehicle to bring undiluted communism into the White House, they failed to realize that without a street hustler doing sleight-of-hand a la Obama that people would look past the bland, inoffensive, anodyne Biden and see what the true agenda was, especially when the cabinet members were obviously vapid, swivel-eyed communist loons. It's been said a thousand times but Biden isn't up to the job, whether you loathe him or support him. He literally lacks the energy to speak for an hour let alone conduct meetings, travel, etc. As such all they can do is shuffle him out to announce the latest outrage. Biden is a small-minded jerk who resents opposition despite seeing opposition as part of daily life for 50 years in DC. So, he's letting his own side down.

This reflects a consistent attitude where they rationalize lack of support with a failure in messaging or explaining as in the people are too stupid to know what's good for them ant it's a challenge to get through our thick skulls. Please do not tell them, that their problem isn't that people don't understand due to their struggles to brand, message and explain, it's that they do understand and see through the branding messaging and contortioned explanations. Let's just keep that to ourselves.

Their idea was to introduce capitalism into Chinese Marxism, and in a miracle or Hegelian/Marxist synthesis - voila! - a "Third Way," the perfect hybrid child of communism and capitalism. Only problem is, what they produced was Globalist Fascism, the worst of both, multinational corporations in league with unelected government bureaucrats scheming to establish a single world government un-tethered to any locality. And, just like covid-19, this new abomination also escaped from China to ravage the world. No borders, no nations.

The way the Dems have positioned their issues and quite frankly, themselves, allows for NO middle ground. There is no "center" anymore because they've pushed so hard Left they've left little room for anyone who disagrees with them. In their current position, they cannot capture moderates - doesn't mean Republicans pick up all of them, some will just sit it out, but Republicans will pick up a majority of them. And the racism, sexism, genderism thing has played out. Does racism exist? Yes, yes, it does. Did racism exist in this country -- yes, yes it did. Most people know this, understand it and want to move forward. They do not want to litigate the past because it simply does not help the present nor does it help build the future.

On Tuesday, November 30, a 15-year-old boy allegedly used a firearm belonging to his father to open fire on classmates, killing four students. The morning of the attack, school administrators met with the boy’s parents and showed them disturbing notes found that day indicating the boy was willing to do harm to himself and others. The boy also was caught searching for ammo on his phone just days before the shooting. But, rather than disciplining the child, the school simply gave the parents the option of pulling him out of class or leaving him in school following a meeting with school officials.

Governor Ron DeSantis proposed reinstating Florida’s State Guard—and the entire leftist establishment went mad. So mad, indeed, that Sarah Silverman, of all people, issued a “calm down” warning to MSNBC’s professional hysteric, Joy Reid. State guard forces are nothing new and nothing exciting. Indeed, even Wikipedia has an honest and temperate description of them. It explains that they are military units that operate under the aegis of the given state’s governor. Unlike a state’s national guard forces, they cannot be federalized. (You may recall how the Democrats called national guard forces to D.C. in January so there’d be someone there to witness the inauguration of our current (p)resident.)

The Bidens were on Biden time last night as they arrived at their designated spot for the National Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. They were late. They were late enough that the host of the ceremony held on The Ellipse in President’s Park south of the White House had to ask the audience to re-do their applause after the First Couple’s introduction. Last night was the 99th annual National Christmas Tree lighting. Is it too much to ask that Biden’s keepers get him outside on time to flip a switch? The bad news about the Omicron variant is that it’s spreading quite rapidly in South Africa and has already appeared in other countries, including the U.S. In South Africa, new reported cases of the coronavirus have spiked from about 250 per day a month ago, to about 2,500 per day a week ago, to 11,500 yesterday. In three days, new coronavirus cases have nearly tripled, due to the emergence of the new variant. The tentative good news about this variant is that so far it doesn’t seem to be causing highly serious illness.

An outlier? Perhaps, as Republican-leaning Trafalgar has been one of the tougher polling series for Joe Biden ever since his bug-out from Afghanistan. On the other hand, this is still the worst result yet from this series, and that direction mirrors most of the rest of the polling over the last three-plus months. In yesterday’s results, Biden hit 36% job approval and still appears to be searching for a floor. More problematic is that most voters who don’t approve are passionate about it; Biden gets a disapproval rating of 59%, with 52.2% strongly disapproving. Biden doesn’t inspire much middle ground

“Say the word!” speaker after speaker implored the crowd. Reparations!” the audience responded loudly each time. Dozens of faith leaders and advocates gathered outside the Statehouse in Trenton for a rally Thursday to continue a more than two-year push for New Jersey to establish a task force to study the history of slavery in the state and consider possible reparations because of it. The demonstrators, organized by the New Jersey Faith Allies for a Reparations Task Force, urged the Democratic-controlled state Legislature to pass the bill (S322) during the lame-duck voting session the began Thursday and ends Jan. 11. “We come here today to demand

The parents of the 15-year-old charged in this week's deadly shooting at Michigan's Oxford High School have been charged with four counts each of homicide involuntary manslaughter. The charges against James and Jennifer Crumbley were filed Friday morning in 52nd District Court in Rochester Hills. It is rare for parents to be charged like this, CNN senior legal analyst Elie Honig said. "What the prosecutor is saying is: Let's look at the parents' responsibility,” (snip) "This is really a new frontier." James Crumbley bought the gun four days before it was used in the shooting, prosecutor Karen McDonald said Friday at a news conference. Sophomore Ethan Crumbley was with him and later posted

For nearly a year the Biden “presidency” -- whoever they are -- has subjected the United States to a destructive revolutionary agenda of unprecedented scope and virulence, all of it arising out of an irrational civilizational death wish for which there is no historical parallel. No more than a small minority of Americans knowingly voted for this.(snip) the only question worth asking is how, if at all, a counterrevolution of sanity can be mounted and succeed. Surprisingly, there is real hope. That hope lies in two stubborn centers of resistance that remain: nearly 50% of the American electorate, judging by the 2016 and 2020 elections; and the Republican Party.

Reading from a prepared statement that presumably was handed to her by a staffer on the Democrat-controlled J6 U.S. House investigation committee, self-righteous anti-Trump Congresswoman Liz Cheney (R – Wyo.) seemed to be threatening POTUS 45 with perjury charges.[President Trump] “has recently suggested that he wants to debate members of this committee. This committee’s investigation into the violent assault on our Capitol on January 6 is not a game,” she declared during a committee hearing.“When this committee convenes hearings, witnesses will be called to testify under oath.

Apparently so, and it turned out to be a moment more awkward than usual for Sleepy Joe.

This now makes two articles today that I have to assure you aren’t satire. In short, we all know what CNN is insinuating here. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis wants to reestablish a World War II-era civilian military force that he, not the Pentagon, would control. DeSantis pitched the idea Thursday as a way to further support the Florida National Guard during emergencies, like hurricanes. The Florida National Guard has also played a vital role during the pandemic in administering Covid-19 tests and distributing vaccines.

In a Friday press release by the Kyodo News Service, the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare warned of myocarditis and pericarditis issues related to the mRNA COVID vaccines. (snip) the Japanese health services have determined that the mRNA vaccines may cause serious heart issues, and they are now alerted and gathering data on this issue. This follows many reports from small media outlets of athletes collapsing and some even dying after being vaccinated (see links to several such reports below). These reports were dismissed by the mainstream media, the administration, big business, and other leftists as unreliable.
