Hysterical Media Members Accuse Ron DeSantis
of Building His Own 'Militia' to Prepare
for 'Civil War'

Original Article

This now makes two articles today that I have to assure you aren’t satire. In short, we all know what CNN is insinuating here. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis wants to reestablish a World War II-era civilian military force that he, not the Pentagon, would control. DeSantis pitched the idea Thursday as a way to further support the Florida National Guard during emergencies, like hurricanes. The Florida National Guard has also played a vital role during the pandemic in administering Covid-19 tests and distributing vaccines.

They're scared of DeSantis. Not because of some militia/civil war nonsense, but because he's an existential threat to their grip on power. He's exposing them in real time.

DeSantis is very wise to build his own militia, and other states should copy, if they wish to retain any sovereignty.

FTA: "... he, not the Pentagon, would control." That would be "he", the Governor of the State of Florida, not "he", Ron de Santis. Several other states have something similar, usually call the "State Guard", as opposed to the "National Guard." They came about from the 1916 call-up that nationalized the existing state militias and put them on the border with Mexico, and the institutional changes that followed. One of the big changes was that the Federal government now could call up the National Guard for reasons that the states felt did not "provide for the common defense" and deploy them elsewhere, including overseas. Some states felt they still needed to have an organization to provide for their local and internal defense. Hence, the Texas State Guard.

Several states have active State California Forces that report only to the Governor. Florida's was inactive. California and Connecticut are among the few that actually do weapons training. DeSantis activates a unit and doesn't even call for weapons training and the left set their hair on fire. What about Blue Governors that already have this and more? Oh, that's Ok...

Sorry, morning fingers: Several states have active State Defence Forces that report only to the Governor. Florida's was inactive. California and Connecticut are among the few that actually do live weapons training. DeSantis activates an inactive unit as a resource for hurricane response to help the citizens of his state and does not even call for weapons training (like those Democrat Governors have) and the Leftists set their hair on fire. What DeSantis is proposing is on the state level, but what is the difference between county level and state level? Many states have Sheriff's posse's to help the county sheriffs at times. DeSantis is just proposing basically the same thing only on a state level. I think it is a good idea.

Seems like a very good idea, which I wish Texas' Governor Abbot would emulate. If Washington is going to claim they have the power to tell the states they MUST submit to the jab, it is time to return to actually reading the constitution instead of hallucinating about auras and penumbras of emergency powers.

I suspect the "Malabar" location is actually the old Malabar Naval Outer Landing Field , more recently named USAF Malabar Transmitter Annex . it is not located in Malabar florida, but actually 5 or so miles to the west in Palm Bay Florida. It was most recently used as a download site for highly classified Keyhole satellite data, but supposedly now that capability has been deactivated and antennas removed though it may now work with Kennedy Space Center and/or Patrick AFB (now Patrick Space Force Base), But Who Knows as it is now US Space Force controlled... I know of no appropriate sites actually in Malabar Florida and there is plenty of vacant property in that area, but the only government controlled (FAA) site would be Valkaria Airport on the Malabar /Grant valkaria border. But it is in use as an active civilian airport, though it was built during WWII as an auxiliary airport to the melbourne Naval Air Station

I regret to inform you that Dr. Anthony Fauci is upset. The most destructive domestic force during the COVID-19 pandemic, in my opinion, wants Lara Logan of Fox News to be disciplined. Why? Because Logan had the audacity to offend Fauci’s sensibilities with a Nazi comparison. Apparently, the rules have changed and now comparing a government official who has an authoritarian bent, dismisses constitutional concerns, and loves power to a member of the Third Reich is off-limits or something. Here was her comment, which requires a bit of nuance if you want to understand what she’s saying.

Inflation numbers for October 2020 to October 2021 came in at a staggering 6.2%. Much of that increase, of course, has occurred under this current administration. That number is up dramatically from the 2% inflation rate that was recorded from October 2019 to October 2020 during the Trump Administration. For many years, including during the Obama and Bush II years, inflation hovered around 2-3%. That was always the target the Federal Reserve set as their goal to keep the economy humming without it overheating and causing inflation. If you really want to see how dramatically inflation decreases your buying power, go on the internet and find an inflation calculator.

Gov. Ron DeSantis continues to lead while other Republicans cower in the corner. With the rise of the so-called “Omicron” variant of COVID (they skipped the Xi variant for obvious reasons), the Florida governor has chosen to double down on policies that actually make sense. Lockdowns, mask mandates, and vaccine mandates simply haven’t produced results in other parts of the country. Michigan, led by Democrat Gretchen Whitmer, serves as the latest example with the state now having the highest COVID case rate in the nation. In comparison, DeSantis has rightly decided that it’s better to follow actual data and real-world results than to abide by the gospel of Fauci.

Many months ago, I wrote an article entitled “We Don’t Have a President.” That was in response to Joe Biden disappearing for several days, while Israel entered into another war with the Palestinians and a cyberattack took down a major pipeline in the United States. Those concerns seem quaint now, given the disaster in Afghanistan and the escalation of a series of domestic issues that followed, from high inflation to the supply chain crisis. Of course, the response to COVID-19 has been no better, and another confused measure was taken yesterday in response to the newest variant scare. Initially, Dr. Anthony Fauci signaled that a travel ban was not necessary,

The surprise victory of Republican Glenn Youngkin to become the next governor of Virginia shocked the political world earlier this month. Down double digits just months prior, Youngkin surged back into the race in the final weeks, eventually defeating heavily favored Democrat Terry McAuliffe. Rather, he focused like a laser beam on the culture war surrounding leftwing school boards and the harm they are causing to children. That strategy led to big shifts in Loudoun County and other bluish, suburban areas, with the assumption being that Youngkin was a different kind of Republican.
