Woke is too kind a word for this story because Scientific American now approves of discrimination based on race and sex. A great story fell into the publication's lap. The American Geophysical Union refused to award a prize for excellence in science because all five candidates were white males. What kind of nonsense is that? Do the members of the prize committee eschew flight because the Wright Brothers were white males? Do they walk rather than drive a car, ride a bicycle, or ride a motorcycle because all of them were invented by white males? Ditto trains. Ditto telegraph. Ditto radio. Ditto TV. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY., said that she will vote against her party's infrastructure bill if it comes to a vote Thursday because Democrats have not provided enough details on what will be in the larger social spending bill.
"I don't see how ethically I can vote to increase U.S. climate emissions," Ocasio-Cortez said Wednesday, noting that a "framework" of President Biden's "Build Back Better" plan isn't enough detail to sway her vote on infrastructure. "We have had a framework for six months. We need text."

Now, one has to think that McAuliffe is feeling pretty desperate to have Biden out to stump for him. As we previously reported, McAuliffe acknowledged that Biden was not popular in Virginia and that basically they had to work their way around that fact. So he must be just grasping for anything he can having Biden in to speak at this point.
I can’t imagine Biden helping him at all. Biden doesn’t have any ability to really draw anyone. He surely doesn’t give an inspiring stump speech.
