Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) touted Florida’s milestone of reaching the lowest coronavirus case rate in the nation on Wednesday, highlighting the “overreach” of vaccine mandates. “Without mandates or lockdowns, COVID-19 cases in Florida have decreased 90% since August,” DeSantis said in a press release. “In addition to cases, hospitalizations have plummeted in our state.” “This has been accomplished by making monoclonal antibody treatments and vaccines widely available throughout our state while protecting Floridians from government overreach,” he added.

Because they aren't buying the BS. No mask mandates, and they TREAT PEOPLE with monoclonal antibodies. And I'll bet that more than a few docs are prescribing ivermectin and doxycycline.

Ron DeSantis is our rising star. Pity President Donald J Trump will have to leave his beloved Mar-a-Lago Southern White House residency to have Ron in the ticket. De Santis understood that we need the virus to spread throughout the non-vulnerable population to achieve natural herd immunity. Just like in Sweden where children 1 to 15 went to school without masks or social distancing and the result was 0 deaths in that group age and herd immunity for all the Nation. Dr. Atlas was right. Trump was right. DeSantis is right. The NIH refused to pay for the double-blinded studies on Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin that Big Pharma would not do and the US ended up with one of the worst per capita death rates in the world thanks to Collins and Fauci. Do not vaccinate the children, have chicken-pox parties like in the seventies instead. The poor countries that are unvaccinated will fare much better than US, or Israel where everyone is quadruple Pfizer vaccinated with horrendous side effects.

And a very low death rate, too, because Covid patients are actually given anti-viral treatment as opposed to other states where doctors send you home without even an aspirin and orders to quarantine yourself until you get better - or worse.

Early treatment not only makes people well but it also stops the spread. Available treatment allows people to get well - stops the fear. Fear is what the government 'leaders' want. I wonder if the MCA treatment stops long haul covid? Likely so, I bet there is little long covid going on there in FL. We still can't get IVERMECTIN here in Ohio. I am yelling at our state reps. to get after the authoritarians in the health department.

Considering the population size and the senior citizen cadre, these stats are amazing! In a proper world, DeSantis would be praised to the highest level ... like Cuomo was. But he's a Republican and thus he must die. This explains why the rush to sell in the Northeast and the run to Florida. On a quick side note, if Trump runs in 2024 and wants Ron as a running mate, Trump will need to move --- again --- as both the candidates for POTUS and Veep can't be from the same state.

DeSantis has handled this brilliantly. That is, quietly but unyieldingly and effectively. THAT is the mark of a true and effective leader. Frankly, while I voted for Trump twice and would do so again, THIS is the person this country needs as our next President. No petty squabbles, no drama, just effective, principled leadership.

Much of the MSM is not willing to give Gov. Ron DeSantis any credit for the lowest Coronavirus case rate in the nation. This was in spite of the fact that the Biden administration denied monoclonal antibody treatments to Florida. DeSantis provided them using state funds. The fact remains that this was achieved without imposing draconian lock-downs or shot and mask mandates.

I'm sorry to see so many L-Dotters get our beloved Constitution wrong. There is nothing which prevents persons from the same state from running for President and Vice President on the same ticket. There may be a prohibition which prevents voters from Florida from voting for BOTH candidates - - but that is a very fine distinction which has never been ruled on. A Trump/De Santis all-Florida ticket is completely legal - - and can get both men elected to the offices for which they are running. Let's hope it happens!

I do not want to downplay the devastation that COVID-19 has had on individuals and families. People have died; loved ones and friends have been taken from us. But my gut tells me we have to just let the disease run its course. I had COVID-19 the week of Christmas 2020. I tested positive after having followed mask mandates, washing my hands incessantly, socially distancing, etc. I experienced next to no effects from COVID-19. My dad had COVID-19 in early November 2020. His experience of it was rather mild too. He was 74 at the time. It makes me think that genetics probably have something to do with how a person responds to contracting the disease. The mental and emotional devastation of COVID-19 has been far worse for me than any physical illness. Not seeing family and friends, not attending church services and fellowship (because they weren't happening or were transformed ridiculously), not following normal routines -- all these and more have angered and depressed me. It is hard for me not to think Florida might have done it right. It is easy for me to think my home state of Illinois is doing it wrong.

Why can't, at least, the Republican Governors be like Governor Ron? Governor Ron leaves choice up to the individual on masks and taking the Covid vaccine. Here in Idaho we have a governor people call, Chicken Little. He says he's a conservative but he's doing nothing while companies and hospitals are doing the dirty work of the govt. and implementing VACCINE MANDATES! From St. Luke's, St. Alphonsus, CenturyLink and others, employees here in conservative Idaho must decide if they want to be forced to do something they don't want to do or quit/retire. How evil is that? Where is HIPAA? Where is my body, my choice? We all must RESIST this totalitarian takeover. There are more of us than them. If enough people say NO then the govt. and the companies doing their dirty work, will have to give up their evil control. Finally, prayer breaks the yoke of evil off of the people. Keep praying, we're seeing daylight!

Earlier today, RedState reported on a disgusting, false smear that took place against Republican Glenn Youngkin as he rallied in Charlottesville, VA. A group of people stood in front of his bus, some with Trump hats on, posing with tiki-torches and pretending to be racist supporters of Youngkin. The scene was meant to be a call-back to the “Unite the Right” rally some years ago which caused such a political firestorm. In what appeared to be a coordinated hit, media figures and members of the Terry McAuliffe campaign immediately spread the picture as proof that white supremacists support the Youngkin campaign. As we’ve previously reported, the writing has been on the wall for Democrats for some time now, with President Joe Biden’s approval ratings approaching basement levels (freefalling after the Afghanistan debacle) and the Democrat-controlled Congress’ approval ratings among voters being even worse. For example, earlier this week, Gallup Polling released numbers from a new poll that showed a devastating decline in support for Congress from Democrats – support that went from 55 percent in September to 33 percent in October. To repeat, that was 22 percent drop. Among Democrats. For the Democrat-controlled Congress. Needless to say, if a new president cannot shore up his base of support in time

WASHINGTON – The Supreme Court agreed Friday to hear a challenge to federal regulations over power plant carbon emissions, potentially resolving a years-long legal battle that has tied up two previous presidential administrations. The appeal has its genesis in an Obama administration effort in 2015 to significantly reduce power sector emissions to address climate change. The Supreme Court blocked those regulations from taking effect and President Donald Trump’s administration repealed the rules in 2017, easing the requirements on the plants. "Nobody contests that these issues have enormous importance,” the North American Coal Corporation told the court in a brief earlier this year. “What must be resolved as soon as possible is

As retrospection becomes ever more clear, knowledge of the impact of the Trump presidency has been taking form — especially when compared to the bunglers who came next. Perhaps most importantly, and without obvious intent, he managed to bring out the worst in his enemies. The U.S. will never be the same again. For starters, let's look at Adam Schiff and Gerald Nadler. Once just off-the-rack hack politicians, now they're cartoons...of sleaze-ball villains. (snip) By provoking his opponents on the left into recklessly exposing themselves as the true villains they are, he has vaccinated the nation from becoming ever more infected with their nonsense.
