Florida’s Chief Financial Officer, Jimmy Patronis, suggested that In-N-Out Burger should move to the Sunshine State after several In-N-Out locations were shut down by California officials.
Patronis appealed to In-N-Out CEO Lunsi Snyder to move to the state, arguing that Florida has a superior business climate—noting the state has no personal income tax, low corporate taxes, and no mandates.
“I’m writing you today not only as Florida’s Chief Financial Officer, but as a small business owner who grew up in a family-owned restaurant and worked there for more than 30 years,” his letter reads. “I know how hard it is to turn a profit and make payroll on

Good move. Florida benefits nd California wants to run off evil businesses that contribute to global warming. Cars driving to the resturants. Beef which we know is the second greatest cause of green house emissions after Democrat politicians. All are harmful and cause Liberals to feel uncomfortable. Its a win win for everyone.

"Plead" seems a poor choice of words. In the article, it says suggested, which seems more accurate.

In-N-Out makes a good burger. Prefer them to McDonald's, BK and Wendy's.
They won't move to Florida anytime soon for one simple reason. All of their products are fresh and all of their restaurants must be within delivery distance of their distribution centers. Their growth model is of expanding outward. The restaurants and distribution centers go together. You can't have one without the other.

I wish they would move into Iowa as well, but I know that won't be happening. They were our favorite hamburger place when we lived in AZ.

How about this. In-N-Out agrees to check vaccine paperwork before allowing people to buy food at their restaurants. But also check for employment. And if employed by the state or fed or any government they should be turned away regardless of vaccination status.

#3: In-N-Out would do fine here: Florida seedstock producers consistently supply “building blocks” for commercial herds around the world. ....Nearly one-half of all Florida Agricultural land is involved in cattle production. Much of “Natural Florida” remains in the working landscape of Florida’s cattle industry.

Better yet, I suggest we put In-N-Out in charge of checking immigration papers and voter IDs while they're at it...

Florida should buy part of California; the northern part is beautiful.

For Florida to maintain its robust 12 cylinder economy, it will need more businesses and jobs. If you own a business or work for a living, why live in a state that hates both? Come to Florida!

I have read in a number of places that Democrat staffers in the capitol building In Sacramento smile and give high-fives when a company announces it's departure from California. When Toyota left supposedly bottles of champagne were opéned. If In 'n Out Burgers leaves for Florida staffers might celebrate with diet sodas.

In-N-Out continues to thrive in California and elsewhere. Most of its operations are drive-through/walk up and pick up. I have patronized numerous outlets for decades and never knew that they had some that featured indoor dining. Most have outdoor patios. Their employees are squeaky clean young people and they pay them very well.
But this should be a wakeup call to Gavin and his pals. Lighten up!

#4 is what the company has consistently responded to requests for expansion. I seem to recall they recently announced a planned expansion that went slightly beyond their self-imposed limits; though Florida goes WAY beyond the limits (which may put it beyond their flexibility)...

Problem solved! Just move the business to a State which supports America's free enterprise system and cherishes the U.S. Constitution, ...such as Florida! Time to accept that welcoming invitation! Shake off that Californis dust and leave it behind.

Carl's Junior/Hardees headquarters left CA for Middle TN several years ago. People from CA moving to the Nashville area in droves. Years ago, Nissan moved their North American headquarters from CA to Franklin, TN. The State built an exit near their new headquarters off Interstate 65.
