Polar bears would not exist today without climate change, and they may even be thriving because of current climate trends. That's what the co-founder of Greenpeace told scientists, economists, and academics who took part in an international conference challenging alarmist claims about global warming. Patrick Moore, a Canadian environmentalist who previously served as president of Greenpeace Canada and director of Greenpeace International, was one of several speakers featured as part of the Heartland Institute’s conference on the topic held this month.

Congressional Democrats are still trying to include immigration provisions into their multi-trillion-dollar climate change and social-safety-net spending bill already stuck on Capitol Hill over how to pay for the measure. Illinois Sen Dick Durbin, the Senate's No. 2 Democrat, is still working on a provision that would give illegal immigrants government benefits, allow them to work legally and require them to pay taxes.

Eric Coomer is the former Director of Security and Product Strategy for Dominion Voting Systems. After the 2020 election debacle, where votes in at least five states had very suspicious results while running Dominion computer systems, center-right journalists made common-sense observations that the results appeared rigged. One journalist, who had infiltrated a conference call filled with Antifa-sympathizing callers, remembered that on the call “Eric from Dominion” was going to ensure that Trump did not win re-election.

Georgia's top election official on Monday demanded that the U.S. Justice Department open an investigation into election management in the state's largest county after officials in Fulton County disclosed they had shredded at least 300 voter applications for its upcoming municipal elections in apparent violation of the law. Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger's office told Just the News that his office had also opened an inquiry into the disclosure by Fulton County officials but believed it was time for federal prosecutors to review chronic election irregularities inside the state's largest county, which includes the city of Atlanta.

The newspapers’ reporting was “based on the false reporting of a non-existent link between the Kremlin and the Trump Campaign. The coverage was no more than a politically motivated farce," Trump wrote in a letter to interim Pulitzer administrator Bud Kliment.

The Senate parliamentarian has nixed Democrats' back-up plan for getting immigration reform into a sweeping spending bill, handing them a second setback. Democrats had pitched parliamentarian Elizabeth MacDonough on legalizing millions of undocumented immigrants by making a change to the date for when undocumented immigrants within the United States can apply to adjust their legal status. But MacDonough told Democrats that the option was a non-starter, according to a copy of the guidance obtained by The Hill. Democrats are pursuing other back-up plans with the Senate referee, according to a source familiar with Democrats' strategy.

It was probably the worst day of Alec Baldwin's life when he accidentally shot and killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the movie "Rust" on Oct. 21. It's a time to feel terrible about a 42-year-old woman with a husband and a young son. Then, CNN's Jake Tapper used it in one of his commentaries to denounce the entire Republican Party for making this tragedy an occasion for jokes. "There's something about our politics right now that is driving people away from our shared humanity."

Our current secretary of the Treasury, Janet Yellen, is busy trying to find a way to tax wealth without calling it taxing wealth. She has eyes on taxing unrealized capital gains. What this means simply is taxing people for money they have not earned or received. That's it in a nutshell. That definition should leave even those who have never had a course in accounting or finance shaken. Not only is Janet Yellen considering this, but the Democrat party is on board as well.

The reference is to the Thursday slaying of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, who was hit by discharge from a prop gun while working on the Baldwin film “Rust.” Baldwin, the film’s star, was handling the weapon from which the fatal shot was fired. The movie’s director was injured as well.

Joe Biden is out tonight to speak at the rally for Terry McAuliffe in Virginia. Now, one has to think that McAuliffe is feeling pretty desperate to have Biden out to stump for him. As we previously reported, McAuliffe acknowledged that Biden was not popular in Virginia and that basically they had to work their way around that fact. So he must be just grasping for anything he can having Biden in to speak at this point. I can’t imagine Biden helping him at all. Biden doesn’t have any ability to really draw anyone. He surely doesn’t give an inspiring stump speech.
