'I don't like everybody that's a Republican,' the former president said. Trump is 100% correct on those mentioned in this short list. There is a much longer list.

Not a big fan of the enemies list thing. Looks way too much like Nixon. Not that Trump is wrong about any of them - I just wish he would keep the list to himself.

Nixon was railroaded by what has become the democrat party. What happened in his administration was baby stuff compared to the Clintons and Obamas and now Biden. I don't like Trump saying 'enemies list' either but it's factual. He probably has a much longer list somewhere. I'm sure the democrats will have hissy fits over this.

Only a very emotionally immature and insecure person keeps lists like this much less makes them public, but I would still choose Trump over any Democrat nominee.

When you are the quarterback, trash talking only motivates the other team. It does not score points on the field, it does not impress the scouts or please the coach. It might excite some drunken fans. Think about it.

The enemies list sounds like carping and whining. State facts, including the stats of his accomplishments during those four years, WHILE under an endless assault of lies. Highlight all the policies he was able to get enacted or in motion through EOs (too often used), Congress needs to return to Regular Order, both Parties, and contrast with what Joe is doing and keep asking why he and Dems are trying to hurt the Citizens.

This is precisely why he will never be president. Trump cannot control his mouth. He had no reason to attack Mitt Romney and yet he did, viciously and below the belt. He made an enemy for life. If you dare to disagree with him, he goes ballistic like an attack dog. At the time it made me uncomfortable that he felt the need to belittle his enemies. He never learned from his mistakes.. Chuck Schumer has the same tendency. We will see what happens.

Trump was and is at his best when he’s rallying ALL of us behind a righteous cause. Fighting China with Chinese tactics (tariffs, currency manipulation, boycotts, and espionage prosecutions) was a great idea favored by all Americans other than those directly on the take from China like McConnell and Biden. “Draining the swamp” appealed to Americans of all political persuasions except for those who directly benefit from swamp life itself like politicians, bureaucrats, and lawyers. Securing the border also rallied across-the-board support among the rank and file. Biden-style open borders are chaotic to control, expensive to maintain, and deeply subversive to the needs of all Americans who need and want to work. When Trump gets snarky and politically combative, as in the case of this enemies list, he cedes the high ground he gained through his “huge” issues (listed above) and comes across as just another losing pol who only gets honest about his lousy appointments AFTER he’s been voted out. My own candidate for worst appointment by Trump is Chairman Jay Powell at the Federal Reserve. The only reason that a “debate” over $5Trillion of additional deficit spending can occur is the misconception that additional debt poses no burden at ultra-low interest rates. Powell and all 535 members of Congress have no idea whatsoever what the future interest cost of our already incurred debt will be! Powell should have normalized rates and stopped printing money (Fed bond, note, and MBS purchases of $120B/mo) long ago. Powell has overstayed his maximum ease policy so egregiously that he now has Biden and Congress thinking that borrowing is free. That policy has had the effect of blurring the line between monetary and fiscal policy and represents a usurpation by the unelected Federal Reserve of powers reserved to our elected representatives. Powell is a menace yet somehow stayed off Trump’s list.

I just do not see the benefit of a public enemies list. It may be 100% correct but it will turn off many people and will give the democrats a talking point. We all know where they will go; Trump is unfit, a bully, childish, hot tempered, and vindictive. Democrats love to come at him from this angle and those he mentioned will self-righteously pity his inability to grow up and act like an adult. The media will ridicule him for this unmercifully. This is an unforced error on Trump’s part. He’s right in his assessment but this bombastic name calling is exactly the kind of behavior his enemies want to see by him because they can turn this against him. The one thing the left cannot fault is his accomplishments. He had the most impressive first term of any President under the absolute worst conditions. He proved he could deliver for the country and the American people. His record speaks for itself and that has always been his strength. He came in as an underdog and fought as hard as anyone ever has to defeat the enemies that were committed to the total transformation of this country and he was successful. My hope after the 2020 election fraud was that he would spend some time in self-examination and come out swinging, not at named individuals but at the corrupt system that is working in concert to destroy everything we hold dear in this country. Of course, he is right about all these people, but this compulsion to trash talk is unproductive. All he had to do was ignore the desire to confront them because he now has hurt himself and in turn, those who support him. A verbal punch in the face may be self-satisfying and even justified on some level, but a wise man does not give his enemies such a gift. This will take over the news cycle and the media will milk it for all its worth. While we should be talking about Biden’s horror show of an administration, this is a distraction the media will use against Trump with relish. Sadly, it will be effective because this in your face confrontation tendency is the very thing that put many people off. The irony is that Trump is using Biden’s wince worthy tendency to trash talk instead of showing some self-restraint and hitting Joe and the dark state with the truth of their corruption. SMH.

If any republican can't see the difference in Biden & Trump they need to change parties. Trump was the best president in history. I'd like to know what these fake republicans would have done if the government, with full force, was after them for 4 + years without reason. I see we have loads of Biden fans on this site . Do they enjoy high taxes, high gas prices, inflation, open borders & a military with low morale ?? My guess is Bush is more their speed!

For all Trump's strengths and accomplishments, he was awful at making appointments. And failing to deal with enemies of America. He left in place a whole corrupt mob -- in FBI, CIA, DOJ, IRS, ATF-- who then worked tirelessly against him. His appointments to Supreme Court have turned out to be wobbly weaklings. Isn't it odd that leftist appointments never fail to be leftist. Can you imagine Ginsberg having made a decision that favoured the right? Or the wise Latina? Even as they publicly worked against him-- like James Wray-- Trump left them in place. But if some Hollywood dingbat posted a mean tweet, he went ballistic. In my opinion-- and I know I will be called a troll even though I voted for him twice-- Trump was a great leader with some fatal flaws.

Simple equation: the greater Mr. Trump’s presence on the political stage, the lesser conservative Republicans’ chances of prevailing in the next election. And the presidential election of ‘24. The man has the knack that “professional” wrestlers use: make yourself a magnet for hatred from half the crowd and cultivate the adoration of the remainder. 50/50 is good enough for entertainment purposes, not for getting elected and binding the wounds of an entire nation.
