Southwest CEO Gary Kelly had a major announcement on Tuesday about the vaccine mandate the airline recently issued: His company won’t be enforcing it. During an interview with ABC News on Tuesday, the CEO said that no employees would be fired over the company’s vaccine mandate. Earlier, the airline announced that all employees needed to get vaccinated against COVID-19 by November 24 or face termination. “We are not going to fire any employees over this,” Kelly said. [Video] The Southwest CEO told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos there was “no evidence” any type of demonstration had caused the major service disruptions over the weekend. The people have the power. They need us more than we need them. Same goes for the politicians. We need to end this fake pandemic. Sounds like Ivermectin worked well in India. (from 300k with covid to less than 300, just three weeks later) We didn't need the lockdowns. We didn't need the masks. We didn't need the social distancing. We didn't need the unnecessary deaths. Why did over 200 members of Congress take Ivermectin? It's time to end Biden, and have forensic audits in all 50 states.

Well, not until people quit talking about it. Then the purges commence. I've filed a religious exemption where I work. I dont expect it to hold forever, but maybe till I can retire. I've resisted illegal declarations and blatant medical privacy violations so far. Some employees are calling their bluff. Hope it works for them. This is not America anymore.

I would like to point out several things to the people who insist on pushing this vaccine mandate. It is not your call to make. It is not your call to make as a politician, as a CEO, or as an everyday citizen. Number one, I will let God guide me on all of this just like any other diagnosis. When a doctor comes back to a patient after doing testing, it is a patient's right to determine treatment. If a person is diagnosed with cancer and the doctor suggests chemo, a patient has every right to refuse. The list could go on. Diagnosis and treatment of Covid has become so unprofessional. Even to the point that vaccinations are given outside of a doctor's office or hospital.

He just lied to your face and then you believe him when he says they won't be firing employees?! There is one man who needs to be fired at Southwest, and with so many employees involved in company ownership, they might be able to pressure the board to take care of that. The "mandate" has no power until a privately held company volunteers to obey it. I am sure the government threatened Southwest with a loss of business. Apparently the threat of plunging stock value outweighed that.

However, # 5, be advised that a question on health insurance apps is , "Have you ever refused testing or a procedure recommended by your doctor ?" I got "fired " by my doc after I decided I'd put off my annual check-up after a year of expensive tests (in her MD network, of course) she had ordered for me, all of which I did, and all of which were nothing. So I was kinda sick of the medical community at that point and opted to push my annual out a year. The termination letter I got from her was mind blowing. My electronic record now is no doubt flagged with "non-compliant" all over the place. Thanks, Obama.

Follow the money. How many people got extremely rich off this so called pandemic. Now some pharms are coming out with an expensive pill. We already have it with ivermectin and HHQ but they don't cost a fortune and won't make anyone rich. So many people needlessly died for the dollar.

Cue the next round. Southwest has waded into tricky territory. Years ago during Arnold's vacation as California governor the leftists pushed a law that encouraged citizens to sue businesses for minor infractions. The California Corporation Commission's departments like Bureau of Automotive Repair would fine or otherwise impose an infraction penalty on regulated automotive businesses. Those infractions would be settled eventually and when they were settled the public would be made aware of the infractions as it became published public knowledge. Low life lawyers would then - on "the public's behalf" sue the same previously penalized automotive businesses in order to extract "settlements" in order not to go to court. Cute, eh? Southwest is heading into those headwinds next.

Losing the income from thousands of flights a day is an effective 2X4 upside the head. I see this happening in other affected industries. The mandatory vaccination is dictatorial, illegal and destructive and somewhat sinister. The military is resisting. Most interesting, a lot of the medical industry is resisting.

Just as this government is illegal and morally wrong, you do not have to answer your doctor's questionaire in full or simply lie. Many of them ask you if you own firearms or other such nonsense like the type of dog you own. Most doctors are not qualified psychologists so you can leave the questions blank if you don't want to answer. If they don't trust you, why should you trust them? Ask them how many patients they have lost on the operating table and you will get an indignant stare.

I spent 30 years working in the automotive industry in Detroit. Here’s a little secret. There is no way on God’s earth the auto makers are going to shut down assembly lines because half (or more) of their employees won’t get a Covid shot. It would cost them a bloody fortune and the unions will raise holy hell. That’s the real reason Biden hasn’t formally pursued this. Petty tyrants in the government may have the clout to shut down Bob’s Diner or the local bars. Try shutting down GM and Ford. Ha.

If even a small portion of American business stands up to this tyrant over this, the whole mandate thing is going to die quickly. The problem is, so many are in bed with the Feds now that they are completely willing to carry the water of this nitwit, rather than risk losing lucrative Government contracts, or being punished by any of a myriad of alphabet agencies for non-compliance with this bogus mandate. There should not have been one entity in America that tried to institute a mandate until it was clearly spelled out. It doesn't exist. Until it does, it should be completely ignored. If these jackasses decide to proceed, it should be tied up by hundreds of thousands of lawsuits immediately until the commies either back off, or are forced to. Do not comply.

‘Accommodations’ means they can keep you technically employed but suspended without pay until you comply or quit, so — this is BS. This is evil — I read that Southwest’s federal contracts constitute only 3% of their revenue and current contracts could not be broken, so — Southwest could defend their employees’ rights. They choose not to. They are evil. See Alex Berenson’s substack Unreported Truths. He has talked directly to SW pilots. We are facing the same thing with IBM.

"no employees would be fired over the company’s vaccine mandate" is a weasel phrase. Will the unjabbed be required to get an oppressive number of tests? Will the unjabbed be put on unpaid leave? Will the unjabbed have to pay a punitive penalty on their health insurance? Will the unjabbed be treated exactly as the jabbed, because nothing else is acceptable? Yesterday this same CEO told Abbott to go pound sand, so excuse me if I don't believe him.

Why fire Gary Kelley? The airlines are so heavily regulated by DC bureaucrats and their regional ground troops, it's no wonder he passed the "rules" on to his employees; however, if compliance means the loss of his company, he chose correctly, as he was going to lose it by the enforcement action he wisely withdrew.
