Generals scramble to avoid responsibility

In Stephen Sondheim’s Into The Woods, there’s a point in the story when things have gone terribly wrong for everyone. The characters respond by disavowing personal responsibility and telling everyone else that it’s “Your Fault.” That song could have been the background music to the nauseating spectacle in the Senate Tuesday, when Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, and head of U.S. Central Command Gen. Kenneth McKenzie testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee about the debacle in Afghanistan. Each general swore under oath that he advised Biden to leave troops in Afghanistan

If they were "just following orders" and knew a debacle was coming, they should have resigned.

Milley Austin and McKenzie behaved like Larry Curly and Moe. They Generaled poorly as expected. They just strutted around the chicken coop like Roosters that couldn't keep the foxes out and allowed the foxes to eat all of the hens. They didn't break the military as it was already broken. They are representative of the MIC that runs DC. All three should be ashamed of themselves, but they weren't. Their actions, along with the CiC, cost lives and will continue to cost lives.

I can't stand the meat head bloated general Milley. The reason, he really believes where he is perched he is running the coup that he participated in. The PX warrior even thinks he is more powerful than the CIC at this point. All three of these traitorous stooges believe they are a power unto themselves only. These are all men, especially Milley, are a disgrace to the military uniform I can't believe where this nation has arrived today with these surrender monkeys including the fraud Biden. I despise Milley so much that I'm going to believe Biden was telling the truth and the chow hound bloated Milley is the one lying. Milley thinks he is so powerful that he will not resign because he is stronger than a president, any president. He's a dangerous man at this point. I like the article very much because it spoke the obvious about these three traitors.

The Afghanistan withdrawal was a product of a demented leader, his incompetent staff, corrupt politicians, and a pack of Pentagon sycophants. None of them care a whit about the United States. The country’s reputation and honor are collateral damage for them in their strategy to help themselves. What is most disheartening is that most of the government in DC fall into one of these categories.

I suspect they are all lying to a greater or lesser degree - Biden lying that he wasn't told about possible consequences, and the Pentagon pukes lying about the vehemence with which they warned him, the ability of the Afghan army to hold off the Taliban, and/or the probable consequences of total withdrawal. When you consider that they're all lying snakes, the likelihood of getting the unvarnished truth out of even one is low.

Of the many positions Kash Patel held during Trump’s presidency, his most important was as an aide to Devin Nunes when the latter worked doggedly to reveal that the Democrats’ Russiagate charges were a hoax coming from the Democrat party—specifically, from Hillary Clinton’s campaign. Biden insists that 97%-98% of the population must be vaccinated to end the COVID risk. However, as it seems possible that mass vaccination is a trigger for aggressive new variants, one can’t help thinking that he wishes to propagate the virus going forward to the midterm 2022 elections and beyond. (snip) it looks as if the DNC embraced the virus and is doing its best to keep it circulating through society for purely political reasons. It was able to get Trump out of the White House, along with election fraud that was made easier because of panicked lockdowns. Now, the vaccine is the newest weapon in the DNC arsenal.

Anyone who's got problems with it, as Obama smarmily assured, is "stuck in the past." Turns out that's crap. After going green and shutting down its coal, fossil fuel, fracking, and nuclear energy production, and feeling mighty virtuous for doing it, Europe is now going cold -- freezing cold. The region faces a very bad winter ahead with energy shortages across the board.

The best way to do that: Vaccination and booster shots, he said.
