Despite graduating from Boston University cum laude, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is eternally sophomoric, always confident in the wisdom of her views notwithstanding serious limitations to her knowledge base. The word “sophomoric” derives from the tendency of college students with just a bit of education – an introduction to higher learning, but no advanced courses yet -- to presume they know everything. They learn the theories before they learn their limitations. (snip) asked to back up one of her sweeping statements (snip) She seems almost stunned and takes some moments to come up with an excuse for not knowing what she is talking about, finally declaring “I’m not an expert….”

"I'm not an expert." will probably be nominated for Understatement of the Year. Her constituents must think having a cute tush is enough to qualify her for the US Congress. But then given that most of its members are asses, maybe her voters are right. Let's face it, she is an ignorant puppet who repeats what she has been told to say and hasn't a clue why.

Paltestine has ALWAYS been "occupied", since it's just a place, never a country, has always been a part of some other country. In an email that was sent along many years ago, and in it, some excellent points were raised about "Palestine" and it's past. Who were the great historic kings of Palestine? Show me some ancient Palestinian money? Does anyone still speak the Palestininan language? Who were the great generals, and their great battles in history of Palestine? None of these questions have answers, because Palestine was, at most, a region in the Roman empire, and just a place on a map. It has never been an actual country, never had a language, money, or any of the things that actual countries have.

This bartender ditz demonstrates how little she knows every time she opens her mouth. The democrats who actually know the facts figure that calling a piece of Israeli territory "palestine" will make it so. Every country, including our own, has parasites on it's soil and the source of most of a country's problems is those parasites. One day I envision getting tough on them instead of using them for political purposes, i.e. stop making trouble, carry your own weight or get the hell out. Here's your ticket.

#17, I believe that you uprate the barmaid by calling her a bartender. Bartenders have to have some skills and brains to mix drinks properly. Barmaids need to be able to note down the type and number of drinks and which table to deliver them to. Sandy was a barmaid from what I have read.

In Stephen Sondheim’s Into The Woods, there’s a point in the story when things have gone terribly wrong for everyone. The characters respond by disavowing personal responsibility and telling everyone else that it’s “Your Fault.” That song could have been the background music to the nauseating spectacle in the Senate Tuesday, when Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley, and head of U.S. Central Command Gen. Kenneth McKenzie testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee about the debacle in Afghanistan. Each general swore under oath that he advised Biden to leave troops in Afghanistan

Greenie energy has been vaunted by politicians such as President Obama, Joe Biden, and virtually every European politician in power as progress itself, the way forward, the wave of the future. Anyone who's got problems with it, as Obama smarmily assured, is "stuck in the past." Turns out that's crap. After going green and shutting down its coal, fossil fuel, fracking, and nuclear energy production, and feeling mighty virtuous for doing it, Europe is now going cold -- freezing cold. The region faces a very bad winter ahead with energy shortages across the board.

What Will Democrats Do about the Maricopa

Maricopa County's failed 2020 election is back in the news. First, an independent canvassing of Arizona's Maricopa County voters revealed a possible 173,000 "lost" ballots and 96,000 "ghost" votes. Add this to the soon-to-be-released Maricopa audit, and — hopefully — the people responsible can be held accountable. Lucky for us, we already know what the adversary's next few moves will be; it's not the first time the Democrats have been caught rigging elections. The Democrats' standard response is denial and misdirection. Denial needs no explanation. As for misdirection, here are an explanation, a demonstration, and a practical exercise in how the game is played.

If you’ve spent any time in Washington, you’ve heard stories about Joe Biden’s loquaciousness. Asked to give brief remarks, he’d famously meander for 30, 40 or more minutes about whatever came into his mind. But his verbosity is a symptom of a larger lack of situational awareness. After all, this is the guy who once asked a man in a wheelchair to stand up and take a bow.My favorite example came just after the 9/11 attacks, when Biden met with his Senate committee staffers and went into a “stream-of-consciousness monologue” about how to respond. “I’m groping here,” he confessed after a while, and then had a eureka moment.
