Unfortunately, many Muslims have used this view to justify the abuse and neglect of dogs, even though cruelty contradicts the Qur’an’s view that all animals form “communities like you. Having dogs as pets is considered to be Haram. Hunting dogs are fine for Hunting game but as pets, no no. It’s a filthy animal. I guess this is why people get mad or scared because of their beliefs.

The news that Casey DeSantis, the wife of Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis, had been diagnosed with breast cancer was met by an outpouring of sympathy from Democrats and Republicans alike — but was also greeted with sick jubilation and mockery from the darker corners of social media.
Democratic Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried, who is running to unseat DeSantis in next year’s gubernatorial election, tweeted: “Our hearts are with Florida’s First Lady Casey DeSantis and her family. We are all praying for you!”
A student recorded a Pierce County teacher bullying him and his classmates into getting the COVID vaccine. She blamed her unvaccinated students for “killing people” by being unvaccinated.
Tanner is a 10th-grader at Puyallup High School. He says his biology teacher became upset that some students were improperly wearing their masks. It set her off on a rant against her unvaccinated students. She called unvaccinated students “selfish” and said they weren’t welcome at school. She accused her unvaccinated students of killing people by spreading variants of the virus, warning them that they could “literally kill everyone on the planet.”
President Biden responded to the confrontations Democratic Sens. Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema have faced in recent days amid their lack of support for critical items in his agenda, saying he doesn’t think the tactics used against them are "appropriate," but said it is "part of the process."

A grand jury indicted 27-year-old Ian Mackenzie Cranston for the fatal shooting of 22-year-old Barry Khristiano Washington in Bend, Ore, KTVZ reports.
Following the indictment, Cranston was arrested on second-degree murder, first- and second-degree manslaughter, first-degree assault, and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon for the September 19 attack.
Cranston appeared in court Friday and is being held in the Deschutes County Jail without bond. He has not entered a plea.

Rand Paul (R-KY) grilled Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra during a Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee hearing on Thursday, questioning the secretary for recently mocking coronavirus survivors — who have natural immunity — as “flat-earthers” for choosing not to get the vaccine.
Paul asked Becerra if he was familiar with an Israeli study involving 2.5 million patients, which found that the vaccinated group was “actually seven times more likely to get infected with COVID than the people who had gotten COVID naturally.”
