The Afghanistization of America

The United States should be at its pinnacle of strength. It still produces more goods and services than any other nation—China included, which has a population over four times as large. Its fuel and food industries are globally preeminent, as are its graduate science, computer, engineering, medical, and technology university programs. Its constitution is the oldest of current free nations. And the U.S. military is by far the best funded in the world. And yet something has gone terribly wrong within America, from the southern border to Afghanistan.

As much as I fancy myself a critical thinker, incisive philosopher snd articulate writer, I stand in awe of this man Hanson. Ditto Thomas Sowell and the late Walter Williams.

The beat goes on and the choir knows the song by heart. America is being destroyed internally and on the world stage. It would be great to say that this is simply a Democrat ploy led by a mentally infirm psychopathic egotist but it is not that alone. There is hardly any voice of opposition from the Republicans to all these issues. Where are they? Simple, they are happy to keep mum in the hope that they can do well in the 2022 mid-terms (provided the candidates that win are who they choose (weak, malleable, and for all purposes a Republican in Name Only). Perhaps these articles are waking some people up but without any leadership or fearless unity to oppose what is happening is to prepare to protect their family and an escape plan because the "government" is not going to save you.

Great article. Obama always wanted an American caliphate. He's getting away with it. This guy, who stole the White House, is just finishing Obama's work with the help of Soros, Jarrett and the likes. It's amazing how far we've fallen in 9 months.

Once again, VDH sees things clearly. Medals Milley acts like some Afghan warlord when he is not even in the chain of command. Milley deserves to be arrested for his treason and tried. If the facts indicate that he actually did what Woodward says, he should be severely punished.

Many believe COVIDS is little threat these days. They eschew masks and vaccines in a public manner. It's hard, then, to rally around COVIDS as something needing attention along the border. Nothing more than the bad flu, some say. The hypocrisy on both sides of COVIDS is evident, and people have pretty much settled on what and whose science they're following. COVIDS has generally become a yawner to the general public. Biden was "selected" for a reason few wish to acknowledge: He was the perfect front for the UNIPARTY desperate to recoup after four years of PDT. Biden is a made UNIPARTY man, a known commodity. He's not making policy or decisions. That's done for him while he struts his aviator sunglasses, cool working man persona, and eats ice cream for the adoring masses. Occasionally a paper is placed before him and he signs as instructed. Joe is really effen us, but does he know or care? So long as Hunter is selling his art... The US military is living in 1953. The public is inured to our global presence and occasional dustup with gueriilas and rebels wherever. So, after 20 years and an embarassing Afghanistan withdrawal, the US is in peril. Well, maybe. The argument was that a few thousand soldiers in perpetual occupation would stem AQ/ISIS terrorism in the USA. Meanwhile, we spent TRILLIONS making the Afghans into what it is...which is what it was. We fight conflicts, not wars, and our goal is to make peace, not impose policy or values - we have become the world's social worker. Americans have made their bed as Leader of the Free World...that place where there are concentration camps for COVIDS, enforced vaccinations, and open borders to unleash inferior cultures to "diversify" others, particularly if European and advanced. While America pays for slavery, Europe pays for colonialism. Christianity pays for its sins in the Americas and the Crusades. Israel just pays. Lessons such as taught in Zimbabwe and South Africa are washed over with today's impoverishment and failure in the name of justice. No one looks to the damage that is already done and being done to cutures and their order in the developed world.

Clear thinking and insightful analysis by a master. I believe Mr. Hanson would fit right in with the Founding Fathers. He is no lightweight and as a historian understands the depth of wisdom and intellect that went into forming this new nation. The political class shame themselves, some with their destruction of the country through active participation to transform what did not need transforming and the remaining sorry souls who cannot be bothered to rouse themselves to present any opposition. We are in a crisis that just may take this country down. Then what? Lord Bountiful is not going to come and take care of you. You will be left to whatever wolves are left standing and they will hungrily devour anyone who dares to resist the change. I do wish I had more hope, but Mr. Hanson has laid it out truthfully and I can’t see one indication that he is wrong. We need are warriors to step up. I pray that they will, but if they haven’t by now, what would it take to wake them up at this point?

Four-star General Mark A. Milley, 20th chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and highest-ranking officer in the United States Armed Forces, is a walking answer to the unasked question, “What if Jim Mattis were fat and dumb?” With his fellow four-star and President Trump’s first secretary of defense, Milley shares a powerful but muted arrogance, a strong but less than rabid hawkishness, a clear political ambition that nonetheless defies immediate identification, and the obvious desire to be seen as a 21st-century warrior-scholar. He does not share with Mattis the requisite intelligence to uphold these delusions of soldier-sagehood, nor the basic capacities required to competently lead men and fight wars.

Vice President Kamala Harris nodded while a student accused Israel of ethnic genocide and then responded by saying the student's "truth should not be suppressed." After speaking at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, to commemorate National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday, Harris took questions from the audience. That's when a female student raised questions about the money the U.S. is providing to Israel and Saudi Arabia. "I see that over the summer there have been, like, protests and demonstrations in astronomical numbers" about the Palestinian cause, the student said. She went on to note how "just a few days ago there were funds allocated to continue backing Israel

President Joe Biden is facing a huge week. In the early days of his presidency, his ambitions to expand the social safety net had some people hailing him as a potential successor to Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Lyndon B. Johnson. But his agenda could come apart at the seams next week as Democrats face a looming government shutdown, the threat of a federal debt default and the potential implosion of either the infrastructure bill or the $3.5 trillion spending package. If this happens, Biden's presidency will suffer a huge setback

President Biden on Friday left Border Patrol agents stunned after repeating debunked claims that Del Rio agents whipped or "strapped" Haitian migrants, while promising to make those agents "pay." Biden weighed in on the controversy over images that emerged Sunday of agents on horseback blocking Haitian migrants from entering the U.S. Claims that agents, who were using long reins to control their horses, were using "whips" were quickly debunked by officials and other agents – but activists and elected Democrats have continued to fuel it. The photographer who took the images said Friday he did not see any agents whipping migrants.

Joe Biden winning the presidency may turn out very badly for the Democratic Party because success obscures problems that need fixing. If we’re winning, it’s working, the thinking goes, so there can’t be much wrong with what we’re doing. This is delusional. Making Donald Trump a one-term president seems to have ended any real effort by Democrats to stop treating ordinary people as ignorant plebs. This is unwise if you want their votes and will probably come back and bite the party as election cycles roll on. Hillary Clinton’s 2016 comment that those who wouldn’t vote for her were “deplorables” expressed the Dems' contempt for

Senator Tom Cotton, R-Ark., laid into President Biden for spending his weekend at the beach while Americans are still stranded in Afghanistan. Cotton campaigned in Iowa this weekend on behalf of Republicans in the Hawkeye State, where he sat down with Fox News for an exclusive interview that touched on Afghanistan, the border crisis, the 2024 election and more. The president's weekend trip to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware is "adding embarrassment" to "humiliation," Cotton said.

On September 10, President Joe Biden lamented to a group of Washington, D.C., middle schoolers that political disputes in 2021 have become far too nasty. "One of the lessons I hope our students can unlearn is that politics doesn't have to be this way," Biden said. "Politics doesn't have to be this way. They're growing up in an environment where they see it's…like a war, like a bitter feud….I mean, it's not how we are. It's not who we are as a nation. And it's not how we beat every other crisis in our history. We got to come together." When an elected executive complains that politics is too much like

President Biden used the word "unity" eight times in his inauguration speech, but voters say the country is heading in the opposite direction on his watch. By a 54-37 percent margin, they think the country is less united under Biden rather than more so. The latest Fox News national survey also finds a dip in the numbers describing him as caring and as a strong leader. Fifty-one percent think Biden cares about "people like you." That was 56 percent last year (October 2020). That five-point shift is mostly due to a 15-point drop among independents.

The first inalienable right mentioned in the Declaration of Independence is the right to life. Yet America, which enshrines that right in our founding document, does a worse job of protecting unborn life than most other countries. The Supreme Court now has a chance to begin ending this injustice and ensuring that America lives up to its promise. We’re both shocked at how far the U.S. falls short in protecting life. We’ve spent the better part of our careers striving to change that. One of us (Ambassador Haley) has also seen how life is devalued across the rest of the world.
