Why Does America Lag Behind the World

The first inalienable right mentioned in the Declaration of Independence is the right to life. Yet America, which enshrines that right in our founding document, does a worse job of protecting unborn life than most other countries. The Supreme Court now has a chance to begin ending this injustice and ensuring that America lives up to its promise. We’re both shocked at how far the U.S. falls short in protecting life. We’ve spent the better part of our careers striving to change that. One of us (Ambassador Haley) has also seen how life is devalued across the rest of the world.

Ya know I hope that those who rip fetuses apart go to hell and spend an eternity getting ripped apart, just like they do the the babies, who have a separate DNA from the mothers, they rip from the womb. That really upsets my daughter when I say that. I find it ironic that they can DO it but I can’t TALK about doing it to them. Evil people who would do such a thing and then get mad at me for saying it should happen to them. I don’t see the problem in saying so. And I make no apologies for thinking this.

"Following the science" is only helpful and supported by the Progressive Communist Left when it upholds their political narrative. The dehumanization of the most vulnerable is a key tenet of Communism, always has been. The fact that we have states where it is perfectly legal to murder unborn children up until the day they are to be born would abhor even many European Liberals. Most European Liberals however don't know that is the law of the land here and hence, they do not understand all the fuss about the issue of abortion.

To criticize the U.S. for their lousy protection of the unborn is appropriate. To imply that they are worse than most of the world seems obtuse, though. What about China, where the one-child policy led to millions of sex-selected abortions annually? Or the EU, where acceptance of abortion has gotten so mainstream that the "enlightened" nations widely accept a mother's "right" to infanticide in the first year of life.

This is one of those great, unsolvable issues that is a gold mine for politicians. It is highly doubtful the US will ever have a ban on abortions, or an unrestricted "right". And, as the practical answer is somewhere in between, there will always be conflict to exploit of both sides.

Is that really a serious question? Half of America values life, the Christian working half. The other half has 24 hours a day of idle time to injest drugs and alcohol and breed like rabbits but the ambition to raise little rabbits is not there so killing them is the lazy people's go-to version of birth control. That's why.

Having seen an abortion performed in the hospital, every person seeking one should be forced to watch a video of one. It is a unbelievable violent and messy end to a life. Just typing this makes me sad and mad at the same time for that little child. Murderers get better treatment when put to death.

#10 I, too, witnessed an abortion in a GA hospital. in 1970, while my husband was in Vietnam. I was scrubbed in, as an OR nurse, and saw how evil it truly is. A new piece of equipment was being used for the first time, a suction currettage, to evacuate part of a miscarriage....but that was not what I saw going down the clear plastic tube to the suction bottle... I can still see it in my mine's eye even after 50 years+, little fingers and little toes going down the tubing, but the most horrific action I saw was when the doctor crushed the baby's head with his gloved hands and tried to force it into the suction. Because I couldn't leave the patient, it would be abandonment, I waited until the procedure was over and notified my supervisor that this Dr was doing abortions and that I would never work with him again. She stated she would fire me, but before I saw her, I had spoken to other nurses and in the doorway and down the hall were 23 other nurses saying she would have to fire all of them ,too. As far as I know, that was the end of abortions at that hospital, but I don't know what or if they do any today. Someone told me several years ago that I should just get over it, but I can't, I can only go out in front of PP and try and talk a woman from committing this evil deed that she may regret for the rest of her life.

Senator Tom Cotton, R-Ark., laid into President Biden for spending his weekend at the beach while Americans are still stranded in Afghanistan. Cotton campaigned in Iowa this weekend on behalf of Republicans in the Hawkeye State, where he sat down with Fox News for an exclusive interview that touched on Afghanistan, the border crisis, the 2024 election and more. The president's weekend trip to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware is "adding embarrassment" to "humiliation," Cotton said.

On September 10, President Joe Biden lamented to a group of Washington, D.C., middle schoolers that political disputes in 2021 have become far too nasty. "One of the lessons I hope our students can unlearn is that politics doesn't have to be this way," Biden said. "Politics doesn't have to be this way. They're growing up in an environment where they see it's…like a war, like a bitter feud….I mean, it's not how we are. It's not who we are as a nation. And it's not how we beat every other crisis in our history. We got to come together." When an elected executive complains that politics is too much like

President Biden used the word "unity" eight times in his inauguration speech, but voters say the country is heading in the opposite direction on his watch. By a 54-37 percent margin, they think the country is less united under Biden rather than more so. The latest Fox News national survey also finds a dip in the numbers describing him as caring and as a strong leader. Fifty-one percent think Biden cares about "people like you." That was 56 percent last year (October 2020). That five-point shift is mostly due to a 15-point drop among independents.

For conservatives sorting through the wreckage of the unsuccessful California gubernatorial recall effort, there are reasons to be hopeful. Here are five of them. First, for a liberal like Gov. Gavin Newsom to break a sweat in a liberal bastion speaks volumes. It would be akin to the 1992 Olympic Dream Team struggling to hold off Cuba for the basketball gold medal. Sure, the outcome was not close, but when Democrats outnumber Republicans nearly two-to-one, this race should never have risen to the level it did. Ink should never even have been spilled on its analysis.

"The leaders who are opposed to progress in this city are not nameless or faceless," she said.
