As we previously reported, Joe Biden is going all-in with this ridiculous claim, suddenly, that his $3.5 trillion budget reconciliation bill costs “zero dollars.” He wasn’t alone in trying to push this claim. As we pointed out, he had Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) parroting the claim. Now, other Democrats have jumped aboard the narrative train including Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), the head of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. Rep. Alan Lowenthal (D-CA) signed on board as well. Here’s White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki trying to sell the same claim. But, of course, what would a Democratic agenda narrative be without help from their buddies
This one is so stupid that I can't believe even this administration is trying it. The simple refutation of this is that if the cost of the Bend Over Further Act is revenue neutral, that you don't have to raise the debt ceiling, and there is no reason to actually shut down government. Pass it on your own hook, and then when discretionaries come crashing down, you can explain why.
The adults are now in charge, so let them figure out how to pay for this communist wet dream on their own, without any help. Nasty and Chuckie want to own it, so let them. Not one Republican vote for this garbage, a CR, or a debt ceiling extension.

Idiot Joe's "$3.5 trillion" plan actually costs $5 to $6 trillion.
Only Dems can believe this fairy tale about "zero cost", and not many of them believe it.

If it is going to cost $0 then why the big push to increase the debt ceiling? That little gem came from a fellow Luc member. Brilliant right? How dumb does he think we are.

Great. Then the bill will include instructions that all future budget spending authorizations for this plan will be zero, and any expenditure will be a felony with a minimum of 20 years in prison.

Is that the same as dollars that are worth zero? Because that could be true. And at the rate of current inflation that will soon come to pass.

I saw a comment yesterday that made the most sense of this. Following this logic, you tell your wife/spouse/partner "We are buying new $50,000 car, but it's costing us nothing because we are taking the $50,000 from our savings account..." Whoever put that comment out there should be running the Ways and Means committee but sadly Democrat lemmings will nod their heads in agreement with Raggedy Ann and her friends and comrades in the corrupt MSM.

This is complete insanity. This boondoggle costs $3.5 trillion. How do we know it costs that amount? Because they always include that number when trying to distinguish it from the $1.1 trillion "infrastructure" boondoggle. What they're trying to say, I guess, is that the net impact to the deficit is zero, which is beyond crazy, but very different from saying that there's not cost. The idea that it costs zero is nuts. It costs $3.5 trillion. If it costs zero, then that means we're not spending a nickel, in which case, why are we even talking about it?

I had to smile last night when I heard Dana Perino, former press secretary, say that if she was told to say this zero thing that she would throw it back in their face--it is that absurd.

My box for the wireless phone went bad, and I went to verizon for a new one.
I was told the new one cost $200 dollars I said keep it, I have a cell phone.
They didn't want to lose me as a wireless customer so it was decided I would get it for free.
In order to get the free phone I would have to pay the tax on it.
I asked "How much is the tax on free"
It was $6.00 the same as if I had bought the phone.
So folks there is a tax on free.

Biden's 'Zero Dollar' spending plan...
Only the dumb and dishonest will go along with this. Biden's message is aimed at Congress and our media so he has the right audience. Anyone in the general population that thinks they are entitled to 'freebies' will also be on board.
There are a couple Democrat Senators that are 'holdouts'. No doubt there are some Republican Senators that can be 'persuaded' if the price is right.
Has our government ever been so corrupt? They all need to be sent packing. it probably won't happen. There are too many dumb and dishonest people, and they vote. We are so screwed.

Why do Democrats persist in this stupidity? And since when do they care whether the public agrees with them or not? The idiots who still fall for their ‘tax the rich’ BS aren’t going anywhere. They’ll get smacked in the face with the repercussions from this and still won’t understand how it happened. They’re desperate because they’re facing a bloodbath in the midterms and their plan to make us all Socialists will be delayed again. This is another ‘pass it to see what’s in it’ bill that is going to shock even the liberals.

Why is Biden so desperate on this one? Because it is the continuation of the Barack Obama/Joe Biden administration. Joe Biden is next phase of a failing administration.

By my calculation, $3.5 trillion split among some 300 million Americans is about $12,000 dollars in additional taxes for every man, woman and child in America. I'm guessing $5 trillion would be even more.

It's a $3.5 trillion bill, which means it costs $3.5 trillion. But in Joe's mind, $3.5 trillion equals zero. Hmmm. As President Bush might say, "That's some fuzzy math, right there."
