So House speaker Nancy Pelosi has hosted another tony fundraiser for Democrats. It was in wine-country Napa Valley, of course, redolent of the Tuscan countryside. Ken Vogel, a New York Times reporter who's apparently worth reading (look at his Twitter feed), has a couple of posts: (Snip for tweet) The all-white fat cats, who paid $100 to $29,000 a pop, are all seated in close quarters in that same general region where Gavin Newsom held his unmasked French Laundry dinner, with, again, none of them wearing masks. And the service staff? They're black, they're Hispanic, they're maybe Filipino. And to a person, they're all masked.

The Taliban held mock funerals for American, British, French and NATO forces today as thousands turned out on the streets of major cities to celebrate the end of the west's 20-year war.

Why does General Milley still have a job? Biden's actually out gaslighting the public about how great he's doing.

The American Medical Association (AMA) is calling for the "immediate end" to the use of ivermectin to treat COVID-19, and for doctors to stop prescribing it for that purpose, amid a spike in the use of the drug.
Ivermectin, often used as a deworming agent in animals and sometimes for humans, is not approved to treat COVID-19 and has not been shown to work for that purpose. I’ve often been hard on Sen. Joe Manchin and for good reason. Too often in the past, he’s presented himself as an unshakable moderate in order to keep his seat in deep-red West Virginia, while at the same time folding on major issues when he gets to Washington.
Yet, I have to give him credit. Under immense pressure from the far-left of his party, including the leadership in Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, Manchin appears to be stiffening his spine. I’m not saying to trust him just yet, but it’s a good sign.

He said the Taliban values China’s Belt and Road Initiative, as the project will revive the ancient Silk Road. He also said China will help Afghanistan use its copper resources and give the country a path into global markets, per the Asia Today. Regarding the Kabul airport, Mujahid said the facility should be up and running again soon.
