The perfumed princes of the Pentagon with their wokester focus, are operating as if they have little to fear as they make a hash of Afghanistan. After all, Joe Biden has made it clear that nobody's getting fired, for one thng. And with all their consulting contracts and revolving board seats, it probably wouldn't even matter if they did. Why does General Milley still have a job? Biden's actually out gaslighting the public about how great he's doing.
One problem, though, is emerging out of that phoniness:
Growing anger in the ranks. These leaders no longer have the respect of the troops anymore.
Here's the first case, according to the Washington Free Beacon:

Perhaps the men in the military see reasons for a coup.

A famous American once said, “Welcome to the party, pal!”
Every career noncommissioned officer knows that officers suck. They spend their entire career taking credit for the work of others while unable to make the simplest decisions. It’s far worse than people know.

Maybe the military brass need to revisit the writings of SunTzu. It seems that the Taliban might have studied "The Art of War". One quote from Sun Tzu stands out now: "It is more important to out-think your enemy that to outfight them".

One Lt. Col has spoken out, ending his 17 year career. There are probably hundreds and hundreds more at that rank (O-5) and up to O-6, maybe O-7 and 8, too, in all the services who are biting their tongues.

I would hope the men and women in uniform openly defy the section that tells them NOT to criticize their higher-ups who have led them terribly astray. I hope they are not cowed with threats of dismissal. Do it anyway. It is needed now more than ever.

I'm pretty sure there will be MASSIVE
deenlistment in the immediate future and beyond. Between the FDA lie that the vax is approved, which makes the entire military a collection of lab rats, and the profligate disregard of our soldier's lives exhibited by the commander in chief and joint chiefs, who in his right mind would want to remain in the US military, in ANY branch? In fact, refusing the still unapproved vax might just be the best way out. If you take the vax it will kill or disable you long before you reach retirement anyway.

I have noticed recently that several of the intelligentsia spokespersons, here and in Europe, and doing the liberal dance of cover your butt and hope it goes away , by saying that Afghanistan was always hopeless anyway. So, by their ineluctable logic, that means this horrible, murderous, traitorous 2 weeks has been inevitable as well. Biden is working on this "logic", as are his crew. Will it win the day, media-wise? Doubtful. There are two separate issues here, one critical now, the other left to history. The critical one is that, simply, this was is and will be a situation that America can be brought down by. No specious historical arguments, no 'long view' blather, changes that, or changes the immediate danger. As the Congress debates and grandstands, Biden has still got the Chair. We may need to impeach and throw out every lousy one of them.

Wonder what Gen. Milley still believes the most imperative issue is now?

Re #8. I think Milley knows which 'potential adversary' of his would be most likely to put him in front of a firing squad.

Well when the actual fighting units are depleted when the boys from places from Texas to West Virginia decide to go home, with those units being back filled with the sensitive “woke” generation from places like San Francisco and Seattle, such a change will not unsettle America’s enemies that’s for sure.

eah, but they are required to pay for the surgery of service members who want to rearrange their parts, as well as other social engineering schemes. All to support the mission, defending our country...... NOT.

I often tell my fellow retirees that I'm glad I retired when I did. The way things are going I am starting to wish I was back in uniform. There are some times one must just spit on his hands, hoist the black flag and start sl ting throats as said my H. Mencken

We need some Sgt Majors to lead people here in the country if things go really crazy. I know more than a few officers who will definitely listen when a Sgt Major wants to give his opinion on military matters.
