One of Texas’ largest abortion clinics rushed to perform “67 abortions in 17 hours” ahead of a deadline that would effectively ban most abortions in the state after six weeks — the time a fetal heartbeat can be detected. The Texas law behind the new restrictions went into effect at 12 a.m. Wednesday morning, apparently prompting numerous women in the state to quickly get abortions when they may have been waiting to do so. The 19th News, a feminist news outlet started by two former Texas Tribune employees, reported the increased abortions at Whole Woman’s Health in Fort Worth, Texas,

And those women got a safe abortion. Now they will have to risk their lives if they are determined to not proceed with a pregnancy.

They better not ramp up production too high, it might cause a temporary glut in the baby-parts market and put a dent in Planned Parenthood's revenue. So incredibly evil. Having just played with my 5-month old granddaughter this morning, this is just gut-wrenching.

#3, that is total BS and you know it!!!!
All women will have to do is drive a few hours to Louisiana or Oklahoma or New Mexico, and they can kill their unborn babies all they want. Or in your la-la land mindset, do you consider driving a couple of hours to be "risking their lives"?
But at least the blood of those innocent unborn babies won't be a stain on the soil of Texas any more!!!!

I guess there will be a glut of butchers for the meat markets and stockyards of Fort Worth now that the Clinic is losing business.

That is right #10. Its true because about a year ago, Praise God Missouri shut the doors of the last abortion clinic. With no more of those places, women were driving to nearby states to get their abortions. At least it was more babies not murdered on Missouri soil.
We know this law is not the end. However, red states with strong & determined pro-lifers are doing serious things to the end one day of no convenience murdering of precious unborn babies.

Dr Mengele would be proud of these vicious butchers.
Years ago, we had a doc in Kansas who did abortions. He was shot in the arms by a person, but he healed up and went back to his butchery, refused to take the warning. Years afterwards, another man shot him and killed him. It's illegal to kill a doc, but OK for the "doc" to kill tens of thousands of babies.
A hell of a world.
The single killer is in prison, the mass murderer isn't killing anyone any more. I can't really say that I support the guy that killed the doc, because it is murder, and it is illegal, but .......I read the butcher's obit with some satisfaction that many babies would NOT die.

Unfortunately, this will won't help. We will just have a bunch of deaf abortion doctors doing the deed, because they won't be able to hear the heartbeat.

The Nazi's kept the ovens going even as American troops were about to break down the front gates of Auschwitz. Blood lust is never satisfied. Once you murder, you must murder again in order for the first murder to have been a legitimate action. After two murders, three is easy and all those that follow are just a matter of course in the legitimizing of the previous murders.
I was once rabidly pro-abortion. I had to be. I had three abortions between age 18 and 21. The first was in 1972 and I was a recently graduated high school senior excited to have my first boyfriend. He was 20 and had his own apartment. I was easy pickings and pregnant by July. My boyfriend didn't mention marriage, only offering a quick and quiet abortion (already legal in CA) that would not interfere with our college plans. We would be back to the place we were before. It didn't work out that way. He broke up with me a month later.
Like most post-abortion men and women I fell into promiscuity, substance abuse and fast living. The subsequent two abortions were carried out in an auto-pilot manner, I have no memory of them other than they happened. I put on the facade of the free spirit who refused to be tied down with rug rats. I even refused to hold the new born babies of my friends. Abortion was the center of women's liberation, without it women cannot be the free agents of the sexual revolution as are men.
My life sucked. A few weeks after my 33rd birthday I attempted suicide on the ocean cliffs at Del Mar, CA. I closed my eyes as I crept closer to the cliff edge and listened to the pounding surf below me. Suddenly a hand on my right shoulder yanked me back. When I opened my eyes there was no one else there. I hit my knees and then, with my face in the dirt, prayed the most desperate prayer of my life. God heard me. It was then I began my journey back to the Catholic Faith, the Holy Sacraments, redemption and re-birth. I look forward to heaven and meeting my babies; Veronica, Simon and Bridget.
Killing our babies kills our souls. Abortion is an abomination and curse upon our country and the world. God bless Texas.

Thank you for sharing your story.
I worked with a lady who placed a child for adoption in the 60's before Roe v. Wade was the law of the land. About 12 years ago, they met (again) and have enjoyed their bond. I'm sure that she is glad that he was able to live.

Oh my God, TQ. This is hard. I don't really know what to say. Except welcome back to the Catholic Faith and the Holy Sacrament. God has received you into His Arms. Having been confirmed in the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, I am able to feel the power of your Salvation. My goodness.
May the "Texas Heartbeat Law" become the law of our entire land. Thank you, Texas. I hope western Colorado becomes part of your fine republic some day.

#19, I hope you are called to share your story beyond this thread. You relate a message that is very raw and powerful, coming from so deep in your heart and soul. There must be many women who could be inspired by you. Thank you for adding to my understanding of the reality of life in those moments.
I'm sorry that your choices brought you to such a scary, dark point, but the glory of what happened next is magnificent. Yes, your babies will be yours for eternity with a true, pure love.

Above Ldotters - thank you for your openness to hear my message. I wrote it with #3 in mind.
#26 - There is a group "Silent No More" that ministers to women and men who participated in abortion. The founding women were tired of being shut-up by their liberal friends and the media. They provide a public forum for people to share the stories of their regret for lost motherhood and fatherhood. "Silent No More" sponsors public testimony every year at the March for Life in D.C., and the Walk for Life in San Francisco, held the next day. In 2009 I gave my testimony publicly at the Walk in S.F. with Fr. Frank Pavone by my side. (A living saint.) The "Silent No More" website is inspiring.
The pro-death crowd refuses to listen to the pain and suffering caused to the men and women who abort their babies. A few times I tried to share with my "womyn!" friends my sorrow and guilt, my feelings were brushed off as only a stirring of the patriarchal control mechanisms used to indoctrinate me by society. They were not true feelings, because a truly free person has no reason to feel guilt. I believe that is why the "celebrities" that scream at rallies how "empowered" they were by their abortions have been driven truly mad because Leftist thought refuses to recognize humanity.

GOTTA KILL THOSE BABIES! DO IT NOW! DO IT FAST! JUST DO IT! KILL BABIES!
What a front for ghouls Planned Parenthood is. Pregnancy is 100% preventable in the first place, so if you don't want kids, why not give out IUDs? Now THAT is something I'd be willing to fund.

#28, I had to take one more look at this thread and was so glad to read that you participated in the annual gathering to add your voice. I can only imagine the strength, support, and holiness you felt standing next to Fr. Frank. He obviously is a genuinely holy man of tremendous worth and dedication--a "Rock", not unlike Peter. What an experience!
I'm imagining three very beautiful, inseparable angels who are so proud of their mom as they watch over you tonight, and always...xoxo
