American Medical Association calls for
'immediate end' to use of ivermectin
for COVID-19

Original Article

The American Medical Association (AMA) is calling for the "immediate end" to the use of ivermectin to treat COVID-19, and for doctors to stop prescribing it for that purpose, amid a spike in the use of the drug. Ivermectin, often used as a deworming agent in animals and sometimes for humans, is not approved to treat COVID-19 and has not been shown to work for that purpose. Poison control centers have recorded a five-fold increase in calls related to ivermectin, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Not enough money in ivermectin? The tell, in my opinion, is that they call for an immediate end, not for caution.

This is yet another example of why I left the AMA years ago. They have endorsed every 'woke' idiocy including BLM, mis-gendering, and party-line covid lies. Ivermectin has been PROVEN effective in multiple international environs. Those who who would deny it have some illicit reason they are hiding.

It works, it's out of patent and its cheap. Use of it shows that masks , lock downs and " vaccines" are not needed. It show what a fraud this whole thing has been and continues to be. Of course they want to ban it.

I guess the democrat infiltrated AMA where the health of citizens is now secondary to the communist death democrat's totalitarian agenda. The State of New Delhi halted the Chinese Wuhan Bioweapon flu pandemic by a mass distribution of Ivermectin, an antibiotic, and zinc. A neighboring state did not and they had an out of control infection rate. AMA is ignoring all of this. Ivermectin saves lives, apparently the AMA is not interested in saving lives anymore.

The AMA earns its keep by conjuring up rules for physicians who take care of patients. Usually those rules make care less efficient and less effective, as well as more expensive. Most practicing physicians left the AMA years ago.

People have read the articles on ivermectin and see its benefits. By keeping it unavailable in human prescription form, people are taking dog and horse medications in an attempt use it. I saw a question the other day where the smallest horse dose was for a 250 lb horse, so the questioner asked about a 150 lb horse. Chad, which dispenses ivermectin to its population for control of river blindness and other diseases has 1% of deaths that we have in the US per million population. Woke medicine is literally killing us.

"Calls to poison control centers due to ivermectin ingestion have increased five-fold from their pre-pandemic baseline." No mention about how many of the poison control calls involved people under a doctor's care taking the drug as prescribed, and how many calls were from people who resorted to formulations for animals, and had no idea how much to take.

They say they are alarmed at the increase in overdoses. Well, that will happen if people are denied a human IVM treatment and have to go for the horse paste to prevent the side effects of covid. STANDARD TREATMENT is to tell the patient to go home & take some Tylenol (mind you - not aspirin - even tho' aspirin works against inflammation & will help) - and when your lips turn blue come see us at the ER. God help us! Have they really looked at the data? I don't see any data sited in the article. I have been told that I can only get IVM if I get sick enough to go to the hospital. Are there any clinical trials going on? I doubt it - there is no money in one that concerns a drug that is out of patent. The other day there was a judge who had to order IVM be administered to a hospitalized man dying of covid. Now I will shoot the messenger. Fewer than 40% of American physicians are aligned with the AMA. Who paid them off to spout this garbage?

The reason given is absurd. Of coarse ivermectin is not approved to treat COVID-19. The truth is, that for the first seven months, none of the COVID-19 vaccines were approved. They were only conditionally approved on an emergency basis to treat COVID-19. If you wait for approval you will wait about 3 years for official approval. Doctors trying to keep their patients from dying have found both ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine, although not a cure, improved the survival rate. Now that is science. The AMA is ignoring this to back legalistic and complicated bureaucratic procedures.

There are two common veterinary formulations for ivermectin. I spent some time looking over the shelf at our ranch store, and reading labels. One is an oral gel packed in a disposable plastic syringe, intended for internal use worming horses. Working out the dosage takes some ability with math. A lot of people are seriously math challenged. That MIGHT be an issue, but I tend to doubt it. One of the forms of vet ivermectin is an external 'dip' or spray treatment which is clearly marked FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY" for cattle, which is apparently dissolved in a toxic solvent, perhaps isopropyl alcohol, which is pretty toxic to ingest, but fine on the skin. It would be perfect for this application, and is cheap, likely what is used. I will bet money that the poison center calls are for the dummies who get the external use version and drink some of it. If it is isopropyl alcohol as I suspect, it WILL be bad for you. This is what happens to many bums who are alcoholic, they try drinking anything with alcohol in it and poison themselves with isopropyl or methyl alcohols, both toxic. ONLY ethyl alcohol is relative safe to drink....but very much of it will kill you, too. And, of course, small quantities ingested will cause you to act silly, which amazing numbers of people like to do.

Democrat Rep. Debbie Dingell grew emotional on Wednesday night over having to leave her hometown of Dearborn, Michigan in order to keep serving in Congress after redistricting swiped her seat ahead of the 2022 midterm elections. For the first time in history, Michigan's new map was drawn by an independent commission rather than political operators. That saw the state's number of House seats drop from 14 to 13, and is forcing Dingell out of the 12th Congressional District she took over from her husband, late longtime Rep. John Dingell.Members of her party are watching nervously as next year's races begin to take shape with 23 less Democrat incumbents --

There is a quiet revolution happening across America and it could mark the beginning of the biggest spiritual, cultural, and political changes this country has seen since the Civil War. New data made public earlier this week by the U.S. Census Bureau makes clear that millions of Americans are leaving Blue high-tax, high-crime, high-COVID-mandate Democratic states and moving to Red Republican states where taxes are lower, the police aren’t being defunded, and churches still thrive. Consider the contrast between Texas and Idaho on the one hand and New York and the District of Columbia on the other, as described by the Census Bureau (emphasis added):

The Biden administration struck a $137 million deal to build a new factory in the U.S. to ramp up production of COVID-19 testing kits–but the new facility won't be completed until late 2024 at the earliest. MilliporeSigma, a brand formed by Germany’s Merck KGaA, will build a new factory in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, the Defense Department announced as the U.S. hit a high record of 489,267 COVID cases on Wednesday. While the contract gives the company three years to complete the facility, it is not immediately clear when it will ramp up to full production, which is expected to pump out 83.3 million tests per month.

Advocates for the transgender ideology are admitting they cannot persuade their own progressive allies, or even “persuadable” swing voters, to back their revolutionary goal of suppressing Americans’ recognition of sex differences.“Right now, our opposition wins the debate on trans youth in sports against any and all arguments we have tried for our side,” admits a “Messaging Guide” by the California-based Transgender Law Center.Overall, “we can at best elicit sympathy, a passive and often patronizing attitude that alienates our base [of current supporters] and fails to generate sustained interest from persuadable audiences” of swing voters, said the guide, which is titled “Transgender Youth and the Freedom to Be Ourselves.”
