This is embarrassing. The White House on Sunday tweeted a photo of Dementia Joe sitting by himself as Afghanistan falls to the Taliban. The Taliban seized US weapons, munitions and military equipment such as armored tanks and military vehicles. The US is currently evacuating the country.Instead of addressing the American people or meeting in the Situation Room with US Generals, Joe Biden is all alone in an empty room miles away looking confused.“This morning, the President and Vice President met with their national security team and senior officials to hear updates on the draw down of our civilian personnel in Afghanistan, evacuations of SIV applicants and other Afghan allies,

This is beyond embarrassing. You've got the Saigon moment and Carter's totally impotent Embassy moment together with a few other dashes of Joe, like burning the flags at the Embassy instead of taking them out, for starters, and then you've got carrot-top Hackey Psaki who suddenly decides to take vacation time for this whole week and Biden still in hiding at Camp David. And that photo! OMG, what a shameful image! If someone thought that photo demonstrated leadership, they were wrong. The incoming. It’s coming fast and furious for (at) Joe Biden. So much so that as I begin this article, the suddenly embattled president is about the speak to the nation, having cut short his Camp David “vacation” solely because his administration is at least “smart” enough to finally recognize they better do their damnedest to attempt to stop the bleeding — ASAP.They — he — will not succeed. It’s not just conservatives who continue to skewer the ever-loving crap out of the hapless Biden for his disastrous decision to withdraw American forces from Afghanistan — not because he withdrew them, but because of how he did it.

Following President Biden’s address to the nation in which he doubled down on his horrific failure in Afghanistan, MSNBC’s left-wing propagandist Nicolle Wallace was equally detached from reality as she falsely claimed the vast majority of Americans agreed with the disastrous policy – despite the opposite being true. She even attacked the media for not being supportive enough of Biden.“That was a consequential speech by an American president at a consequential time to, quote, toward the end, ‘I am the President of the United States. The buck stops with me,’” gushed co-anchor Brian Williams immediately after Biden concluded his defensive remarks.

President Joe Biden delivered a speech of quiet fury at the White House on Monday, defending his decision to bring home U.S. troops before blaming Afghan leaders for their failure to prevent the country collapsing. 'I stand squarely behind my decision,' Biden said. 'After 20 years I've learned the hard way. That there was never a good time to withdraw U.S. forces.' It was the first time the president had spoken publicly about the unfolding crisis in six days. But a senior administration official indicated to reporters Sunday evening that Biden might address the country “in the next few days,” according to reports. It remains unclear whether Biden will speak from Camp David or return to the White House to deliver his speech, the reports noted. He was previously scheduled to remain at Camp David until Wednesday.

What will it take for Joe Biden to admit he is disastrously wrong about Afghanistan? The US leader struck a defiant pose last week. Sounding like a slightly desperate Olympics coach, he told Afghans it was their country. If they want it, they have to fight for it. In American politics-speak, this is called tough love. Without the love. Biden has more hands-on foreign policy experience than any president since George HW Bush. That doesn’t mean he knows what he’s doing. Opinion polls suggest his abrupt Afghan withdrawal has majority public support. That doesn’t mean Americans will remain indifferent as the carnage and misery mount.

As the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack looms, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum is crying poverty for the second year in a row. This time, it says it can’t afford to mount special exhibitions planned to mark the two-decade milestone. In 2020, the twin-beam “Tribute in Light” was canceled only to win a last-minute reprieve after soon-to-be-ex Gov. Cuomo pitched in state resources. But no such bailout appears in the offing this time. In fact, this year, the museum is shamefully restricting the reading-of-the-names ceremony exclusively to the families of 9/11 victims.
