America the Violent

Another horrific instance of violence in America occurred on August 7: the killing of Chicago police officer Ella French and the shooting of her partner. The two brothers arrested in this case include 21-year-old Emonte Morgan, who received a sentence of probation in 2019 for robbery in lieu of jail time. His brother, Eric Morgan, was also on probation. Mayor Lori Lightfoot's tepid response to the killing was a statement that it's "time for us to come together as a city." When Lightfoot visited the hospitalized officer, dozens of Chicago police officers reportedly turned their backs on her, and she was "scolded" by the officer's father.

More reason to be capable of defending yourself and your loved ones. Fortunately, more than 40 states make it reasonably easy to be legally armed. The training required is up to each individual. Be safe out there.

Even my state, The People's Republic of Illinois, is a shall issue state, thanks to the lawsuits that turned around concealed carry in America. Constitutional carry is greatly preferred, but for those that don't live in a free state, get your carry permit, take some training from a decent instructor if you have never been around guns, and practice, practice, practice. And - always carry, no matter if you are just going to the corner for a paper. Ferals, malcontents and useful idiots are everywhere. Protect you and yours - the cops are no longer going to do it for you.

We know our gun laws and conceal carry our weapons everywhere except government buildings. Somebody points a gun at me, they won't be around long. At home, we practice break-in response. It's all about protecting each other and our property and using solid judgement. It is up to us to know gun safety and to know our weapons.

After meandering around for most of the article, the author finally gets to the nub of the problem when he acknowledges that more than half of all murders are committed by a little over 7% of the population, when identified by age and skin color. Subtract that demographic and the USA is less murderous than most other European nations. Of course, it is equally true that most of the victims are also of the same age and skin color demographic. The takeaway is this: avoid places where young black males are to be found and you will likely avoid being raped, assaulted, mugged, shot or killed.

It seems silly to have to say this after all these years but the solution to violent crime is the same as it was 50 years ago. Lock them up. Keep them there. Don't bother to rehabilitate them. They're not worth it. Feed them and that's about it. If you run out of room build more jails. It's called infrastructure.

If Officer French (Chicago police officer just killed) had beaten the animal to the draw, Lori Lightfoot would be demanding her imprisonment. Liberal politicians love to play patriotic whenever they're called on to mourn a fallen officer. That's because, of course, for liberals the only good cop is a dead cop. Liberalism is the face of smarmy evil.

There were 52 people wounded, and nine killed, in the more than three dozen shootings reported throughout Chicago over the weekend, authorities announced Monday, as exasperated police brass say "senseless gun violence" has claimed the lives of "too many young people." Chicago Police Department (CPD) reported 38 shootings citywide from 6 p.m. Friday to 11:59 p.m. Sunday. The murder victims include a 7-year-old girl who was fatally shot as she sat in a parked car next to her younger sister, police said. The child was in the stopped vehicle in the city’s Belmont Central section, located in the northwest part of Chicago, around 2:50 p.m. Sunday when she and her 6-year-old

In our new world of pandemic panic porn, it is important to remember that the word "case" is not a term of art. It is not a medical term or a legal term. It is just another word with a broad meaning that has been commandeered by people who want to control you. This seemingly innocuous word is being used as a blunt instrument to stampede you into doing what the globalist elites want you to do. It is widely used when the media, Big Tech, and government experts (the "infomob") lie by omission. When you hear that there are x "new cases" in any context, this should immediately

It is rare that U.S. Department of Defense officials, blinded by their zealous pursuit of the latest variant of U.S. military diversity policy, reveal that policy’s intellectual vacuousness. Recent comments by the Navy’s top, uniformed personnel officer, however, did just that, exposing the Pentagon diversity policy’s intellectual bankruptcy and providing a focus for those who, following their commitment to the Constitution and the rule of law, genuinely believe America’s sons and daughters in uniform deserve the best leadership available. On August 3, 2021, VADM John Nowell, Jr., Chief of Naval Personnel, made public comments arguing for reinstating the use of photographs

A college professor is facing arson charges for setting fires in the area where the Dixie Fire is burning. Forty-seven-year-old Gary Stephen Maynard was arrested on Saturday following an investigation that started last month. Maynard is accused of setting the Ranch Fire near the Mendocino National Forest. A federal criminal complaint shows that U.S. Forest Agents started investigating Maynard on July 20, the same day as the Cascade Fire. Investigators eventually placed a tracking device on his car after a witness at the fire claims they saw Maynard come from the area where the fire sparked. “Witness 1 believed the man was mentally unstable

How Sweden Triumphed over COVID 10 replies

Earlier this year, Sweden’s top health official, Johan Carlson, felt obligated to tell the world how wrong everyone else was. “Some believed that it was possible to eliminate disease transmission by shutting down society,” he said. “We did not believe that and we have been proven right.” Is he right? The three-day moving average for COVID deaths in Sweden is frequently zero these days and hasn’t been in double digits since May. Sweden has seen a lower mortality rate than most of Europe in 2020. That wasn’t the prediction. Sweden never mandated masks, nor did its citizens adopt masking in any significant way.

Well, isn’t this interesting. Recall Roe v. Wade? The famous abortion decision from the U.S. Supreme Court that was issued in January of 1973? It said this: This right of privacy, whether it be founded in the Fourteenth Amendment‘s concept of personal liberty and restrictions upon state action, as we feel it is, or … in the Ninth Amendment‘s reservation of rights to the people, is broad enough to encompass a woman’s decision whether or not to terminate her pregnancy.” — Roe, 410 U.S. at 153 In the vernacular, this quickly was reduced to a pro-Roe movement that self-identified as “pro-choice.”

President Joe Biden will remain hidden at his presidential retreat at Camp David through Monday, according to the White House, as the Taliban swiftly seized control of Afghanistan. The president’s daily guidance for Monday indicated Biden would remain at Camp David for at least one more day, with no public events scheduled. But a senior administration official indicated to reporters Sunday evening that Biden might address the country “in the next few days,” according to reports. It remains unclear whether Biden will speak from Camp David or return to the White House to deliver his speech, the reports noted. He was previously scheduled to remain at Camp David until Wednesday.

What will it take for Joe Biden to admit he is disastrously wrong about Afghanistan? The US leader struck a defiant pose last week. Sounding like a slightly desperate Olympics coach, he told Afghans it was their country. If they want it, they have to fight for it. In American politics-speak, this is called tough love. Without the love. Biden has more hands-on foreign policy experience than any president since George HW Bush. That doesn’t mean he knows what he’s doing. Opinion polls suggest his abrupt Afghan withdrawal has majority public support. That doesn’t mean Americans will remain indifferent as the carnage and misery mount.

As the 20th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attack looms, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum is crying poverty for the second year in a row. This time, it says it can’t afford to mount special exhibitions planned to mark the two-decade milestone. In 2020, the twin-beam “Tribute in Light” was canceled only to win a last-minute reprieve after soon-to-be-ex Gov. Cuomo pitched in state resources. But no such bailout appears in the offing this time. In fact, this year, the museum is shamefully restricting the reading-of-the-names ceremony exclusively to the families of 9/11 victims.
