There were 52 people wounded, and nine killed, in the more than three dozen shootings reported throughout Chicago over the weekend, authorities announced Monday, as exasperated police brass say "senseless gun violence" has claimed the lives of "too many young people." Chicago Police Department (CPD) reported 38 shootings citywide from 6 p.m. Friday to 11:59 p.m. Sunday. The murder victims include a 7-year-old girl who was fatally shot as she sat in a parked car next to her younger sister, police said. The child was in the stopped vehicle in the city’s Belmont Central section, located in the northwest part of Chicago, around 2:50 p.m. Sunday when she and her 6-year-old

Meanwhile, the news media is all up in arms that seven people died in Afghanistan trying to climb on a plane as it taxied to take off to escape the Taliban. I guess there were no seven year olds climbing on the plane.

More people died on an average weekend in Chicago than a normal six months in Afghanistan. Americans were not dying in large numbers in Afghanistan, it was the cost of involvement. This "disinvolvement" begun by Trump was working, under Biden, a total disaster and soon-to-be bloodbath of innnocent civilians. Democrats, no matter where they are in charge, year by year show their utter incompetence. This from dementia-stricken Biden to Governor Newsom in Californa. I can think of a couple of RINOs, too.

Why is this even a story. Are we missing something here. Same story every freakin week. City run by blacks, black on black violence, black children being murdered by other blacks and they blame the white guy. Sad part is, the only people showing legitimate concern over black children are the white guys. Let us know when something changes. Absolutely appalling.

In our new world of pandemic panic porn, it is important to remember that the word "case" is not a term of art. It is not a medical term or a legal term. It is just another word with a broad meaning that has been commandeered by people who want to control you. This seemingly innocuous word is being used as a blunt instrument to stampede you into doing what the globalist elites want you to do. It is widely used when the media, Big Tech, and government experts (the "infomob") lie by omission. When you hear that there are x "new cases" in any context, this should immediately

Another horrific instance of violence in America occurred on August 7: the killing of Chicago police officer Ella French and the shooting of her partner. The two brothers arrested in this case include 21-year-old Emonte Morgan, who received a sentence of probation in 2019 for robbery in lieu of jail time. His brother, Eric Morgan, was also on probation. Mayor Lori Lightfoot's tepid response to the killing was a statement that it's "time for us to come together as a city." When Lightfoot visited the hospitalized officer, dozens of Chicago police officers reportedly turned their backs on her, and she was "scolded" by the officer's father.

A college professor is facing arson charges for setting fires in the area where the Dixie Fire is burning. Forty-seven-year-old Gary Stephen Maynard was arrested on Saturday following an investigation that started last month. Maynard is accused of setting the Ranch Fire near the Mendocino National Forest. A federal criminal complaint shows that U.S. Forest Agents started investigating Maynard on July 20, the same day as the Cascade Fire. Investigators eventually placed a tracking device on his car after a witness at the fire claims they saw Maynard come from the area where the fire sparked. “Witness 1 believed the man was mentally unstable

Earlier this year, Sweden’s top health official, Johan Carlson, felt obligated to tell the world how wrong everyone else was. “Some believed that it was possible to eliminate disease transmission by shutting down society,” he said. “We did not believe that and we have been proven right.” Is he right? The three-day moving average for COVID deaths in Sweden is frequently zero these days and hasn’t been in double digits since May. Sweden has seen a lower mortality rate than most of Europe in 2020. That wasn’t the prediction. Sweden never mandated masks, nor did its citizens adopt masking in any significant way.

"If deputy sheriffs are forced to vaccinate a percentage of them will retire early or seek employment elsewhere." The post stated the majority of officers are vaccinated, but that the union believes that continuing to wear face masks should be sufficient for those who are not.

Well, isn’t this interesting. Recall Roe v. Wade? The famous abortion decision from the U.S. Supreme Court that was issued in January of 1973? It said this: This right of privacy, whether it be founded in the Fourteenth Amendment‘s concept of personal liberty and restrictions upon state action, as we feel it is, or … in the Ninth Amendment‘s reservation of rights to the people, is broad enough to encompass a woman’s decision whether or not to terminate her pregnancy.” — Roe, 410 U.S. at 153 In the vernacular, this quickly was reduced to a pro-Roe movement that self-identified as “pro-choice.”

The president’s daily guidance for Monday indicated Biden would remain at Camp David for at least one more day, with no public events scheduled. But a senior administration official indicated to reporters Sunday evening that Biden might address the country “in the next few days,” according to reports. It remains unclear whether Biden will speak from Camp David or return to the White House to deliver his speech, the reports noted. He was previously scheduled to remain at Camp David until Wednesday.

Joe Biden and his media acolytes call him Mr. Empathy and Mr. Compassion. His Afghanistan speech yesterday told a different story, and should end that phony spin forever. My takeaway was how cold, and hard, and compassionless Biden was as he sought to extricate himself from the catastrophe of his own making. He blamed everyone but himself for his failure, particularly the Afghan army. He smarmily assured terrified Afghanis left behind he'd now speak out for their human rights instead of actually protect them. He effectively told U.S. servicemembers their service was for nothing. It was appalling.
