A college professor is facing arson charges for setting fires in the area where the Dixie Fire is burning. Forty-seven-year-old Gary Stephen Maynard was arrested on Saturday following an investigation that started last month. Maynard is accused of setting the Ranch Fire near the Mendocino National Forest. A federal criminal complaint shows that U.S. Forest Agents started investigating Maynard on July 20, the same day as the Cascade Fire. Investigators eventually placed a tracking device on his car after a witness at the fire claims they saw Maynard come from the area where the fire sparked. “Witness 1 believed the man was mentally unstable

Comments:

More info on this crazy leftist arsonist. Now we find that he probably set many fires, but they are building the evidence for the first one, then probably will charge for the others.

This guy wouldn't be the first person who was hunting publicity for some subhuman act. I remember watching a cop show about a California firefighter who was also an arsonist. Someone doesn't necessarily have to be mentally ill to become a College lecturer, but it helps.

"According to court records, Maynard was living out of his car and traveling alone across a large section of Northern California. Investigators claim at one point, Maynard worked at Santa Clara University. Sonoma State confirms he also taught at their university during the Fall of 2020 as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice." Charges will be dropped and this psycho dim will be appointed to work under Veteran forester Randy Moore who has been named chief of the U.S. Forest Service, the first African American to lead the agency in its 116-year history. It is rare that U.S. Department of Defense officials, blinded by their zealous pursuit of the latest variant of U.S. military diversity policy, reveal that policy’s intellectual vacuousness. Recent comments by the Navy’s top, uniformed personnel officer, however, did just that, exposing the Pentagon diversity policy’s intellectual bankruptcy and providing a focus for those who, following their commitment to the Constitution and the rule of law, genuinely believe America’s sons and daughters in uniform deserve the best leadership available. On August 3, 2021, VADM John Nowell, Jr., Chief of Naval Personnel, made public comments arguing for reinstating the use of photographs

In an Aug. 2 opinion piece for Southside Pride, a local monthly newspaper, titled The cops started it, Minneapolis DFL Chair Devin Hogan argued that the burning of the Third Precinct on May 28, 2020, three days after George Floyd’s death in the same city, was a "proportional response" to the treatment of Black people by police.

Earlier this year, Sweden’s top health official, Johan Carlson, felt obligated to tell the world how wrong everyone else was. “Some believed that it was possible to eliminate disease transmission by shutting down society,” he said. “We did not believe that and we have been proven right.” Is he right? The three-day moving average for COVID deaths in Sweden is frequently zero these days and hasn’t been in double digits since May. Sweden has seen a lower mortality rate than most of Europe in 2020. That wasn’t the prediction. Sweden never mandated masks, nor did its citizens adopt masking in any significant way.

"The problem we are faced with now is the strict San Francisco Mandate which is vaccinate or be terminated," the San Francisco Deputy Sheriffs’ Association (SFSO) wrote in a Facebook post Friday. "If deputy sheriffs are forced to vaccinate a percentage of them will retire early or seek employment elsewhere." The post stated the majority of officers are vaccinated, but that the union believes that continuing to wear face masks should be sufficient for those who are not.

Well, isn’t this interesting. Recall Roe v. Wade? The famous abortion decision from the U.S. Supreme Court that was issued in January of 1973? It said this: This right of privacy, whether it be founded in the Fourteenth Amendment‘s concept of personal liberty and restrictions upon state action, as we feel it is, or … in the Ninth Amendment‘s reservation of rights to the people, is broad enough to encompass a woman’s decision whether or not to terminate her pregnancy.” — Roe, 410 U.S. at 153 In the vernacular, this quickly was reduced to a pro-Roe movement that self-identified as “pro-choice.”

Being unblessed by fatherhood (thus far), I have little idea of what boys today are watching on TV, the few not playing video games anyway. But in perusing the 2021 primetime network schedule, I found nothing I would want to watch were I under sixteen. The only constant I could see is the dearth of male heroes, which suggests two possibilities. Hollywoke television executives either have no interest in having young males view their product, or they wish to “detoxify” those who do. Perhaps both conclusions are correct, and equally damning of our time.

A recent front-page headline in my local paper read as follows: "County bordering on high virus transmission rate." A doctor with a large regional health system was concerned that the COVID-19 transmission rate had increased by 37% in one week and stated, "A transmission rate above 5% from the prior week is very scary." It seems useful to provide some context regarding numbers such as these, considering all the numbers being thrown around regarding COVID-19, the apparent push to create a panic over the delta variant of COVID-19, the obvious push for everyone to get vaccinated

For instance, Biden told churchgoers April 1, they were being ungodly if they did not become vaccinated.
