Memes Make It Clear: New York City's
Vaccine Passport Is the Real Jim

New York City became the first major metro to require proof of vaccination to access restaurants, gyms, and other venues last week. Mayor Bill de Blasio proudly announced the “Key to New York City” pass, a vaccine passport, effective August 16. As Karol Markowicz pointed out, the vaccine passport erased children under 12 from public life because they cannot be vaccinated. The mayor’s office updated the policy to exempt them from the vaccine requirement and mandate masks for children instead. Public policy is often full of unintended consequences. And while de Blasio and others like him are just sure they are sticking it to white Trump supporters

If this is so urgent and important, why the wait until the 16th? That's 10 whole days for COVID to run wild through the streets of NYC, carried by the unvaxxed vermin that will not comply with dictatorial edict. If you care SO much for the vaxxed citizens (and illegals) then why not a totalitarian pronouncement decreeing that you either have a passport by sundown, or you are barred from public life? Comrade Bill is a fraud. Fake name, fake mayor, fake vaccine, fake concern for the citizenry.

All those concessions made by NYC to appease the black folks, free loot, murder sprees, beating of people on the streets and now they are going to be turned away at the door of every bar and restaurant? De Blabbio has no idea what's coming his way.

With the short fuses and hair triggers that seem to be rampant these days, what's going to happen when people are denied entry to their favorite bars, restaurants, pot emporia? I shudder to think.

Bill just stepped in a mess because he didn't create a time line for any success from the vaccine just a blanket killer statement. The mayor just poked a hornets nest (BLM) when all he wanted was to 'get whitey' instead. Looks like Bill and his wife will be dancing in Times Square alone again for the New Year.

I'm old enough to remember the 'colored only' signs of the old South. (I was stationed at Gunter AFB, Montgomery, Alabama, 1956, during MLK's bus boycott)]Perhaps NY can put up signs, "African Americans only" since most of them are perhaps wisely declining the Kung Flu vaccine..

Gov. Greg Abbott has officially called another special session, forcing the Texas Democrats who fled to block a voter integrity bill to continue their foolhardy charade. But now, an activist judge has stepped in to throw them a lifeline. The Democrat has signed an order to block enforcement of the arrest warrants put out for the Texas Democrats. Those arrests are allowed under the Texas Constitution as a way to force the appearance of lawmakers who refuse to show up to do their jobs. This appears to allow the fugitive Democrats to return home from Washington, DC now with no way to compel them

Mayors of Texas border communities, as well as a prominent family medicine doctor, are sounding the alarm about the spread of COVID-19. They are calling on the Biden administration for help. Illegal migrants are testing positive for COVID-19 as they flood the southern border. One well-respected doctor in Rio Grande City, Texas says it is not a coincidence that his medical practice has seen a significant “uptick in cases in the last couple of weeks.” The Rio Grande City area reports a 900% increase in the number of illegal migrants who tested positive for COVID-19 last month. Dr. Antonio Falcon points his finger at the Biden administration’s policies.

The Pentagon will require members of the U.S. military to receive a COVID-19 vaccine by September 15, according to the Associated Press. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin wrote in a memo to troops, obtained by the AP, that he will “seek the president’s approval to make the vaccines mandatory no later than mid-September” or when the vaccine receives final FDA approval — “whichever comes first.” The FDA is expected to give final approval to the Pfizer vaccine early next month. However, without formal approval, the military would need a waiver from Biden to make the vaccine mandatory.

Based on new photos released today, conditions are outright inhumane at the Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) facility in Donna, Texas. Despite the fact that the government has expanded facilities and sped up the processing of illegal aliens the system, the massive influx is still outpacing the ability to keep up, and the facility is attempting to deal with even more people than when the news shocked Americans in March. In March, there were 4000 people packed into the holding pods/cages. Now, according to Fox, there are 5300 illegal aliens in custody at the facility, with between 40-60 people per pod. That was fast. On Monday, Politico declared that "the White House continues to keep the southern border largely closed during the pandemic." Yet by Thursday, Politico warned, "Biden’s vision for the border has gone bust. But what’s Plan B?" So why the dramatic change? Could the answer be Governor Ron DeSantis who on Wednesday gave a scorching reply to Joe Biden who criticized the Florida governor for his approach to the COVID-19 pandemic? DeSantis was particularly critical of Biden's failed border policy: "Why don't you do your job, why don't you get this border secure? Until you do that, I don't want to hear a blip about COVID from you."

The University of Wisconsin removed a controversial boulder from its Madison campus Friday after the Black Student Union and other activists objected to its description nearly 100 years ago with a racial slur. Chamberlin Rock, which rests atop Observatory Hill, is named after a 19th Century geologist and former university president, Thomas Crowder Chamberlin, whose work centered on glacial deposits, according to a bio on the university’s website. But it was a reporter’s reference to the rock in a nearly century-old Wisconsin State Journal article that prompted the push for its removal. In October 1925, the university had the boulder excavated and placed prominently atop the hill to honor Chamberlin,

Dr. Rochelle Walensky has been making the media rounds.
