'Nowhere to run': UN report says global
warming nears limits

Original Article

Posted By: Ribicon, 8/9/2021 11:09:19 AM

Earth is getting so hot that temperatures in about a decade will probably blow past a level of warming that world leaders have sought to prevent, according to a report released Monday that the United Nations called a “code red for humanity.” “It’s just guaranteed that it’s going to get worse,” said report co-author Linda Mearns, a senior climate scientist at the U.S. National Center for Atmospheric Research. “Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.”(Snip)The authoritative Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report, which calls climate change clearly human-caused and “unequivocal,” makes more precise and warmer forecasts for the 21st century than it did last time

Comments:

People are weary of the Covid lies, so here's another emergency from the bag of tricks, one so dire that only a Marxist global government could solve.

These lies have been totally debunked for several years now. The earth is not warming. That's why they changed the scare nomenclature from "Global Warming" to "Climate Change." These clowns must not have gotten the memo.

So, are they asking Asia to fix their issues? China is building hundreds of coal burning power stations and India's air pollution in the cities is horrible. When they fix that then I will worry about cooking on my electric, nuclear powered stove.

I suppose that he scientists on the UN panel are unanimous in their thinking on global warming. Am I safe to say that there are no opposing theories or positions from anyone on this panel? They need a new crisis to justify their jobs.

I guess we need to declare a climate emergency and shut down all carbon-based fuels vehicles until the CO2 levels in the atmosphere curve is flattened. Of course, mandatory shutdowns of churches and gas stations. The only vehicles allowed to be driven are electric. Carbon dioxide scrubbing masks are in production in China, and cows will be required to wear flatulence filters.

Democrats aren't very bright. They have WAY-AY-AY overused the Chicken Little ploy. And their methods of exacerbating a minor crisis into a major one, is so flawed, even the uneducated can spot it, if they stop to think. Global Warming: The Globe warms and cools over multi-millenial cycles. We are currently on an upswing in temperature. Yes, there is Global Warming. No, it's NOT man-made. COVID-19: When you need a quarantine, you isolate the sick person and their care-givers. When the sick recover, they, with their immunity, care for their theoretically now sick former care-giver, till they are well. But what did they do? At first they resisted Trump (because, hey! Orange Man bad) when Covid was detected and he wanted to restrict travelers from China. He was a racist! Then they wanted to mask and isolate EVERYONE, because that way, they could create a panic and say (Orange Man bad, remember) Trump was incompetent. But there weren't enough masks, especially of the type that would prevent COVID from getting into your lungs. Thank the Obama Administration for that one, but (Orange Man bad...) Also, masks need to be replaced, regularly. Long term wearing of masks can create other health problems. But of course... 'Orange Man Bad...' In a sense, HIV was a trial run for this: they refused to take any action to protect against the spread of the virus, because it was "Bigoted" and "Homophobic" Meanwhile who was dying from HIV? drug-users and homosexuals. This is the Democrat Party.

How come all of these reports are always about the future and they can't even get this weekends forecast correctly? They use words like, ". . . about a decade will probably . . ." About? Probably? Where's the hard science that has been peer reviewed and duplicated? Doesn't exist because it's just a "report".

So far it’s been one of the coolest summers in Dallas that I remember for 40 years. Far far far cooler that the hottest ones of 1980 and around 2000, when we were setting records for 120 days of temperatures above 100 and 0 rainfall. Don’t quote me on the exact numbers, but that was the order of magnitude. This year only a few days of 100 if any and none of the 108 degree type scorchers. But the weirld is ending and what to do except send more money and trust the con/pols to save the world in 100 years. That’s the job i want— pay me a lot now, results after I’m long dead.

I assume this is the "Summary for Policymakers" report which is released months before the actual report with data. It is always a political paper to produce fear and a political result. When the actual report comes out, few will read it and they will find the SPM is hyped B S but will be too politically correct to report the fraud. Not a thing the useless UN has ever produced has been worth while. US out of UN. UN out of US!

The White House on Wednesday called on OPEC and its allies to boost oil production as gas prices continue to climb, threatening the nation’s economic recovery. National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan said in a statement the administration has spoken with OPEC members urging the group to increase production. OPEC, which stands for the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries, reached an agreement last month with its non-OPEC allies, known as OPEC+, to increase oil production by 400,000 barrels per day. But Mr. Sullivan said that isn’t enough to bolster the oil supply. “While OPEC+ recently agreed to production increases, these increases will not fully offset previous production cuts

For the third time in two weeks, a rainbow Pride flag was stolen from outside a religious center on the Virginia Tech campus. This time, however, the LGBTQ symbol was replaced by two Confederate flags—one in front of the building, where the previous flag stood, and another in the back. “This one was just an escalation when the Confederate flag was put up in its place," the campus minister, Bret Gresham, told NBC News. Gresham, who runs the Wesley Center, the building from which the three Pride flags were taken, said the school’s LGBTQ students are “hurt, saddened and scared" following the weekend's incident.

The National Republican Congressional Committee launched several targeted ads last week that tied vulnerable Democrats to inflation and excess spending. “Inflation is a tax on every single American and is a direct result of Democrats’ reckless spending,” said a statement by Rep. Tom Emmer of Minnesota, who chairs the NRCC. “We are going to ensure voters know that Democrats are responsible for the higher costs they are paying for just about everything.” Republicans are focusing on higher consumer prices as Democrats try

Republican Sen. Tim Scott boarded a plane to Hawaii earlier this year to meet with one of the richest people in the world: Tech titan Larry Ellison.Ellison’s remote Lanai Island home was well out of the South Carolina senator’s way. But for Scott, who like the 76-year-old Ellison is an outspoken advocate for school choice, cultivating the mogul has paid dividends — and could even help propel a 2024 presidential bid. Since last October, Ellison has contributed $10 million to an outside group aligned with the senator — a huge sum even in the super PAC era and the business owner’s biggest known contribution in three decades

After denouncing the Trump administration for banning travel from China in 2020, during the early days of the pandemic, on Monday, CNN’s New Day actually promoted the notion of somehow imposing a travel ban on the state of Florida over a recent rise in COVID cases there. Without a sense of irony, the show hyped the notion that travel from the Sunshine State would have already been banned if it were a foreign country.“Now, one out of every five people hospitalized in this country is in Florida right now....One Florida doctor says children’s hospitals in the state are overwhelmed while Republican Governor Ron DeSantis resists calls to require masks
