A “major gang war” between ruthless Bronx crews that are fearless of cops has left a 13-year-old boy and two other teens dead in just the past five days, law-enforcement sources told The Post on Monday. “We can’t keep them in [jail], and they’re going after each other," a high-ranking police source said, referring to juvenile suspects who end up back on the streets after being sent to family court instead of being prosecuted as adults. A city prosecutor added, “They don’t go to jail, so they do robberies, get in fights and carry guns. The first teen to die in the bloody gang-fueled

Tyquill (brother of NyQuil?) is pictured flashing a gang sign and Jaryan is posing with a gun. Ramon was loose after an armed carjacking, among other "gun crimes," although all of these fall at the feet of a judicial system that has no interest in keeping the streets safe, and in fact achieves the opposite. May as well let the gangs have at it; they at least are thinning the herd.

I once saw a bunch of pictures of The Bronx in the 1920s. While far from perfect, it was a booming borough with a wide assortment of people enjoying their lives. The streets were lined with every business, nightclub, and restaurant imaginable. I'm sure it was noisy and a bit too crowded at times, but it was a good place to call home. Those days are long gone.

Mourners of Elliot on Monday placed dozens of candles in front of a photo of the 13-year-old with angel wings on him outside the apartment building where he lived. Well, the only reasonable explanation for the wings would be that he was killed in front of Angels Café. The juvenile and family court systems need to be brought into the 21st century to deal with the 21st-century gang-running, drug-dealing, gun-toting, murderous "youths" of today.

Sad that they have been taught to be so violent. But, once they are this vicious, this feral, there's no good way to keep them from wiping each other out. Just stay far away. Besides, it would be "racist" to interfere with their "normal teen rituals".....like it was racist for the white cop to shoot the black knife-girl to keep her from murdering another black girl. We were 'treated' to stories of "just a normal teen knife fight, no reason to shoot her" sort of lunatic commentary. So, don't interfere. Let them "work things out amongst themselves". Bag and tag, hose down the street and go on.

Delta Air Lines reported its first quarterly profit since the pandemic devastated the airline industry more than a year ago, as hordes of vacation travelers and money from U.S. taxpayers offset weak corporate and international travel. Delta said Wednesday that it earned $652 million in the second quarter. However, Delta's report shows that airlines still face turbulence as they try to rebound from their worst year ever. Without $1.5 billion in federal pandemic relief and other one-time events, the Atlanta airline would have posted an adjusted loss of $678 million.(Snip)"We still have a long ways to go," CEO Ed Bastian said in an interview

That means thousands of illegal immigrants have already defied their first orders from Homeland Security and become fugitives, and that bodes ill for the chances of getting them to comply with their court dates

America’s dwindling domestic shipbuilding industry has lawmakers worried about the Navy’s ability to keep up with China and Russia. Now that China has surpassed the U.S. to have the world’s largest navy, lawmakers on both sides of the aisle agree that the service must make strides toward building a larger fleet. Reaching the goal, however, is hobbled by a domestic shipbuilding industry that has been in decline since the mid-1990s. The Navy currently operates just four public shipyards tasked with maintaining the nuclear-powered fleet and roughly 20 private shipyards certified to build and maintain the service’s conventionally powered ships.
