Catch-and-release migrants defy
Homeland Security orders to check in

Original Article

Posted By: Ribicon, 7/13/2021 3:33:37 PM

Few illegal immigrants caught and released at the border on promises of turning themselves in to ICE later are actually showing up, defying Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ assurances of a “high rate” of compliance and leaving the department with few options for tracking the migrants down. At best, the appearance rate is less than 25%, according to data from members of Congress and from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. It may actually be much lower. That means thousands of illegal immigrants have already defied their first orders from Homeland Security and become fugitives, and that bodes ill for the chances of getting them to comply with their court dates

Comments:

ICE probably tells them not to bother to show up, but instead to report to locations where they can enroll for Free Stuff for themselves and their Anchor American children.

Did anyone, besides the nitwits in the Biden administration, actually believe that released illegals would ever be heard from again? Can they really be that dumb? Maybe they should send out some unicorns and fairies to look for the missing illegals to ask them to report as asked when they were released.

Trump missed a "Yuuuge" opportunity to make Immigration judges who slow walk decisions come up to speed. He should have ordered them to the border, set them up in tents, 12hr shifts around the clock on an "Emergency Basis". Arrive today? See a judge today...go BACK across today, he should have sent JAG as well.(The asylum questions...and proofs...are very simple, nearly all are exempted immediately once asked, but a "Prior Ruling" requires that ONLY an immigration judge may "decide" those basic facts, and no one but an immigration judge). Currently they are seeing half a dozen cases per day... at most... in a cusshy airconditioned court in some far off City hundreds of miles from any border..Biden would never even consider such a thing....though border state congresscritters and Governors should still demand he do so.

Also filed under Duh. Is there one sane person that really expected them to show up for their deportments? Releasing illegals into the country is the stupidest thing ever. They should be catapulted over the wall as soon as they are caught. Drowning in the Rio Grande? I DONT CARE. Invaders should fear for their very lives trying what they are doing here. The US is a paper tiger that doesn't protect our borders or sovereignty, and everyone knows it. Move them aboard a container ship, and when its full, deport them to Africa or Asia. Let them deal with an ocean between them and US soil. I am SICK of this.

How many times have we found non-compliance with check-in orders to be high for illegal aliens? And how many more times will we pretend to be surprised when that happens? Good f'n grief, lying, pileofshit media... "At best, the appearance rate is less than 25%" Let me use my weasel-speak-translator to take a wild guess: Zero is less than 25... I'm guessing the appearance rate was close to zero, if not exactly zero.
