Biden Retracts Trump’s Policies
Lowering Insulin, Epi-Pen Costs

Original Article

This week, it is being reported the White House is moving forward with removing a health care policy established by President Donald Trump designed to bring down the price of insulin and epi-pens. Biden’s bid to retract the rule was approved on Monday, as reported by Politico, with the expectation that the Department of Health and Human Services could publish the retraction within the coming days. The measure, signed off on under the previous administration in December, aimed to require some 340B community health centers to deliver savings to low-income patients for insulin and epinephrine in a bid to bring down unaffordable prices.

Comments:

The cost of insulin is a major personal expense for most diabetic patients regardless of insurance or Medicare coverage; the savings implemented during President Trump’s administration was substantial. In the States, the average cost of a unit of insulin is around $98; however, in Australia it is around $12 and in Canada $7.50. The Trump administration worked with Canada to import insulin to reduce insulin costs for Americans but it is reported that the Biden administration appears to be hesitant to proceed with those plans.

This is outright vindictiveness combined with being owned outright by Big Pharma. This will affect millions of Americans negatively and there was absolutely no reason to do this other than to boost profits to the drug companies and punish American citizens for daring to benefit from the positive actions of Trump. This wasn't hesitancy - it was the middle finger to America by Lunch Bucket Joe. All can take comfort in the fact that while you will again pay much more, Joe got his 10%.

#3, you should note that this rule change does not put any money in the pockets of Big Pharma. It takes away a rule requiring health care providers to pass discounts they receive from Big Pharma for treating various "in need" patients on to said patients.

WELLINGTON — With windows and bumpers proclaiming "Trump won" and "Biden sucks," vehicles from all over the United States were parked Friday afternoon at the Lorain County Fairgrounds. They came from near and far--from New York to California, Michigan to Tennessee, Pennsylvania to Indiana--for the chance to see former President Donald Trump. (Snip) The forecast calls for possible thunderstorms to sweep through Wellington early in the day, probably giving way to cloudy skies before the rally gates open at 2 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

With the creation of June 19th ("Juneteenth") as a federal holiday, Democrats have one more claim to be the party of civil rights and equal opportunity for African Americans, though most Republicans also voted for the holiday. That claim has been promoted for decades by a compliant media, academia and high-profile politicians, but the facts say otherwise. From Abraham Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 to the mid-20th century, members of the Democratic Party, dominant in the South due to its opposition to civil and political rights for African Americans, were on the wrong side of civil rights.

COLUMBUS, Ohio - No employer, either public or private, could require employees to receive vaccinations under GOP legislation pending in the Ohio House. Also, workers could not be fired as a result of refusing. The measure before the Republican-controlled House Health Committee has attracted multiple opponents of COVID-19 vaccines but goes further in addressing mandatory requirements for all vaccines, such as for the flu. "I believe in vaccines and scientific research. I also recognize that vaccination is a personal choice and that, for a variety of reasons, not all Ohioans can or want to receive vaccines," said Rep.
