Janet Yellen makes an idiot of Pete Buttigeig

Original Article

Posted By: JrSample, 5/19/2021 12:39:36 PM

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen just made a punk out of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg.   Yellen lobbied the business community Tuesday to help foot the bill for President Joe Biden’s more than $4 trillion American Jobs Plan and American Families Plan, which include every wish list item proposed by the Democratic Party going back nearly 50 years. This is an interesting development, considering Buttigieg claimed last week the White House's “infrastructure” proposal “is paid for." CORRECTON*

Comments:

Is anybody in the press going to directly ask him exactly what he meant by ''it is already paid for''? This would actually be piling debt upon debt.

FTA: "Yellen added, "At the same time, we want to eliminate incentives that reward corporations for moving their operations overseas and shifting profits to low-tax countries. As part of this effort, we are working with our international partners on a global minimum corporate tax to stop the race to the bottom.” " What incentive do our "international partners? have in setting a global minimum corporate tax? Increasing corporate taxes have an effect on jobs and competitiveness. Just because Yellen wants to make America suffer, it does not mean that our "international partners" also want to make their countries suffer.

Black progressive lawmakers on Sunday questioned the inclusivity of the freedoms celebrated on Independence Day as the White House prepared for an evening of traditional festivities. As Biden's White House readied fireworks and burgers for America's annual celebration of nationhood, progressives expressed their views on what the Fourth of July means from the Black American perspective. "When they say that the 4th of July is about American freedom, remember this: the freedom they're referring to is for white people. This land is stolen land and Black people still aren't free," tweeted Missouri Rep. Cori Bush.

Ida B. Wells, born into slavery in 1862 and orphaned at 16, rose to fame as a journalist by shining light on things we didn't want to see — in particular, the horror of lynching. Five thousand Americans were lynched over 90 years, three quarters of them black. The numbers don't account for the notoriety of the practice; rather, the demonic zeal of its practitioners does. Even reading about it will turn your stomach. Do not look at the photos they displayed with pride of charred bodies. Lynch mobs spread terror among non-white people and those who would defend the rule of law.

Six deaths, all involving men with connections to protests in Ferguson, Missouri, drew attention on social media and speculation in the activist community that something sinister was at play. Police say there is no evidence the deaths have anything to do with the protests stemming from a white police officer´s fatal shooting of 18-year-old Michael Brown, and that only two were homicides with no known link to the protests.

The Statue of Liberty is a 'meaningless symbol of hypocrisy' because of America's history of racism, sexism and anti-immigrant sentiment, according to the Washington Post's art and architecture critic.Philip Kennicott, a Pulitzer Prize winner, argued in an essay Saturday that the monument - which has stood for a century as one of the most iconic examples of American freedom - represented 'unfulfilled promises'.He added that the statue was irrelevant to non-white Americans, using as evidence the absence of representations of the statue when he visited a Chicano art exhibit at the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington.

Those of Joe Biden’s public behaviors that align with classic dementia symptoms are escalating. In the past few days, he strongly exhibited two symptoms: A type of belligerence that’s a cover-up for confusion and memory loss and a paranoid fear of those in charge of him. I used to spend a lot of time in the company of doctors. What always fascinated me were the tales they told of dealing with patients with early-stage dementia. The most interesting point they made was that elderly people, so as not to lose face or admit their own fears, are superb at deflecting the questions aimed at assessing their cognitive skills and memory.
