A federal grand jury has indicted Derek Chauvin and three other former Minneapolis police officers for violating the civil rights of George Floyd, the Black man whose videotaped death last May during an arrest sparked nationwide protests and demands for the reform of police departments. Chauvin separately was charged in another federal indictment with violating the civil rights of a 14-year-old Minneapolis boy during a September 2017 arrest by holding the boy by the neck and hitting him multiple times in the head with a flashlight “without legal justification.” The new criminal charges revealed Friday come nearly three weeks after

The left knows their first conviction of Chauvin was a fraud and will not hold up, so they are rushing to frame up more charges. The courts are tools of the left to get their enemies, rather than courts of justice.

Oh, now the Federal persecutors are on the scene? Nothing like the land of Double Jeopardy. State first then Federal. Cops never stand a chance. They're the most persecuted profession in America. Why would anyone want to become one under these sorry conditions? Sad.

Apparently, now, among civil rights are the rights to pass counterfeit bills and resist arrest.

They could have at least waited until he gets a fair trial for the first conviction before they launched more. White people are sitting around with their thumbs up their butts . If this was a Black man being persecuted like this blacks would be burning cities wholesale. They haven't made it illegal to be white yet, but they are trying.

It wont be long before Minneapolis will have no police and there will be total anarchy. Everything in that city will be stolen. People will be killing each other because there is no one to arrest them. The liberals will realize they screwed up and need a police force but no one will be willing to be a cop in a city that hates cops. They are doomed.

DENVER – The Denver Fire Department is sounding an alarm over a growing number of propane explosions at homeless encampments. It says it has responded to more than 200 fires in or near homeless encampments in the last four months alone — more than one a day on average — and in almost every camp they find propane tanks. A 20 pound tank of the highly flammable gas is the equivalent of 100 sticks of dynamite. Firefighters say many camps — in populated areas, along busy streets, and under bridges — have several tanks of propane. It’s a dangerous mix

LAREDO, Texas – In a small park nestled between the Rio Grande River and an outlet mall, Rep. The 65-year-old congressman, donning a tan button-down shirt and matching pants, lamented about the issues he’s seen in his community as an increased number of migrant children, families and adults make their way to the U.S.-Mexico border. The lumber shortage is getting worse. On Tuesday, the price per thousand board feet of lumber soared to an all-time high of $1,359, according to Random Lengths. Since the onset of the pandemic, the price of lumber has skyrocketed 280%. For weeks, Fortune has relayed a similar message to readers: The price of lumber is likely to continue posting new all-time highs this spring. To the ire of home builders and DIYers alike, that prediction continues to be right. And signs point to this all-time high soon getting topped too. On Tuesday, the July futures contract price per thousand board

As expected, Rep. Charlie Crist announced today that he will run for governor of Florida. Crist, a former Republican, is one of the biggest charlatans in American politics, in my view. Crist will have company in the quest for the Democratic nomination. Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried, the only Democrat to recently win statewide in Florida, and Rep. Val Demings, a House impeachment manager, are considered likely to join him. The Democratic nominee will have plenty of resources with which to take on the Republican incumbent, Ron DeSantis. President Joe Biden's proclamation of the annual National Day of Prayer failed to include the word 'God', an omission that is drawing criticism from some religious leaders. Biden, a devout Catholic, typically ends his public remarks with the phrase 'May God bless you all, and God protect our troops' - but his proclamation for Thursday's Day of Prayer contained no such acknowledgement of a higher power. 'Prayer has nourished countless souls and powered moral movements — including essential fights against racial injustice, child labor, and infringement on the rights of disabled Americans,' the proclamation read in part.
