A juror in the Derek Chauvin trial has defended attending an anti-police protest as an expert warns it could be used to overturn the murder conviction. Brandon Mitchell was one of the 12 jurors who convicted ex-Minneapolis cop Chauvin of second and third-degree murder and manslaughter over the killing of George Floyd. Social media images have emerged of Mitchell attending a August 28 protest, at which Floyd's relatives spoke, while wearing a t-shirt with the words ‘Get Your Knee Off Our Necks’ on the front. While I don't condone kneeling on someone's neck for more than ten minutes, Chauvin deserved a fair trial, and if that meant moving the trial to another location, then so be it. The defense should have demanded such.

The "juror" lied to the judge when he stated that he can be a fair and impartial juror. That's THE standard question all potential jurors are asked.

Floyd was NOT killed when the police arrested him, he died at that time because of an overdose of drugs. There was zero evidence of suffocation. Moreover, evidence at the trial showed that Chauvin's knee was on his shoulder not his neck. However, since these facts do not fit the narrative, the media continue to act as if they did not exist and report the BLM propaganda as if it were fact.

Legally, the verdict needs to be set aside and a mistrial declared. No need for appeal at this point.

How does an unemployed Chauvin afford an appeal against the unlimited legal resources of the State? How does he pay his lone defense lawyer for the trial as well as possible federal charges by a cost is no problem DoJ? Same questions apply to the 3 other unemployed officers awaiting their August trial?

Two things - - - - 1. It was NOT a George Floyd rally. It was just a "Kill The White Pigs!" protest. 2. Do you remember every rabid political T-shirt that you've worn since last August? I sure don't. It was the fairest trial ever conducted!

#1, proven in court, he did NOT 'kneel on his neck', he was kneeling on his shoulder in a medically recommended, Minneapolis PD trained restraint position designed for excited delirium sufferers. Uninformed opinions can be embarrassing.

Whether Chauvin is guilty or not -- I didn't watch the trial or the coverage because I didn't figure I could get the truth by doing so -- the many is entitled to a fair trial. How is this a fair trial? What does this say to other countries where the fix is always in? But OJ got off . . .

This is the second tainted juror - another disclosed a fear of riots in the aftermath of the trial. Add to those factors the middle of the trial $27 million "settlement" by the city, the previous riots and destruction, and it should be obvious to a blind man that the trial should have been held in another part of the state or even a different state.

The lumber shortage is getting worse. On Tuesday, the price per thousand board feet of lumber soared to an all-time high of $1,359, according to Random Lengths. As expected, Rep. Charlie Crist announced today that he will run for governor of Florida. Crist, a former Republican, is one of the biggest charlatans in American politics, in my view.
