Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene have torn into their GOP colleagues at a red-meat-filled rally, in an ambitious attempt to force party leadership to fall in line with their pro-Trump faction of the party. Gaetz and Greene kicked off their barnstorming 'America First Tour' with an event on Friday night at The Villages, Florida the massive retirement community known as a fierce Trump stronghold.'We've got this battle going on right now for the soul of the Republican Party,' Gaetz told the roaring crowd of senior citizens. I strongly support Gaetz and Greene. The GOP needs to forget about the large tent, which means a third of the members are Democrats. That is not working. The GOP party is inactive, does not seek power, and if it gets it, never uses it. The GOP needs to become an active party, seeking power to use, and keep, and to learn to deal with enemies. The Democrats and CCP have combined, and declared war on the U.S. The GOP needs to respond with power, not meetings, and refreshments. The U.S. Congress is not a monarchy. Mitch McConnell and the do nothings standing behind him have been in charge for 2 decades. That looks more like a Castro regime with no ideas and stagnation. We do not allow that in the presidency, and we should not allow it in party leadership.

Agree with the movement "America First". We as conservatives must clean house, starting with Cheney, McCarthy and Scalise. The leadership first must go and we need to get people in those positions that are strong and fighters. McCarthy is nothing more than a Boehner, Ryan light and must be replaced after Cheney.

Yay for The Villages! I've lived in The Villages for 19 years. I've seen many Republicans campaigning here, some received by large crowds and some just received by polite crowds (Romney). I was not able to go to last night's event, but I knew it would be a Barn Burner. Republicans here are ready to begin the march to victory in 2022. We believe we can win. We put our money where our mouth is! We were in a local Restaurant last week when a Huge Bus, decorated with TRUMP came by and blew it's Train Whistle Horn. Everyone went wild. Clapping and cheering! Yes, there were a few faint Boos, but they were drowned out by the enthusiasm of the Trump Supporters. Matt and Ms. Greene are on the right track. They want to get rid of the RINOS in Congress and because of that, they are being persecuted by the Deep State. I think they are going to win that battle. Judging by the crowd last night, I don't think the Smearing against them is working!

I'm sure that Gaetz and Green could have filled at 5,000 seat venue but the security would have been super expensive. I've been to rallies where there are a handful of narrative protesters outside and when confronted, "if you take all the criminal acts in Hunter Biden's laptop the entire family would be in prison" Their response is, "the FBI didn't find any crimes, expletive expletive, the Trump family are the criminals, expletive!" And my response, "you mean the Fraudulent Bureau of Intimidation didn't investigate!" More expletives. The protesters come from northeast states because it became unaffordable with high taxes, high tolls, high utilities along with rising crime, deteriorating infrastructure and lockdown tyranny. They take their northeast state taxpayer subsidized pensions with their goal to turn Florida into a s__thole like the s__thole they left.

Am not for dumping Gaetz as long as the Dems keep Swalwell et al., but always did think him a bit creepy. Let he and Greene flail away---I hope most Republicans will have the sense not to follow along. We should disagree but when the rubber meets the road we NEED to vote together.

I don’t enjoy reading articles from the Daily Mail because of the underlying snarkiness that slips through. I have to give them credit, at least they can cover something and report on it even if you can tell they do not agree with the subject. Other times they are downright hostile. Gaetz and Greene are impressive because like President Trump, they speak the truth and are not afraid of the left. That in itself is a rare thing in the Republican Party. The establishment within the party are there for selfish reasons. They want the prestige, money, perks, and everything the Swamp offers. I don’t believe they are even principled in anything other than being very invested in the party of me. Politics to them is a system to game. It is not an opportunity to serve your constituents and country. There are genuinely some Republicans who are contrarians in that bunch too. They love to stir the pot especially if it makes them appear to be going against the grain. We do not need a party filled with individuals who see politics as a game. This is deadly serious business and should be considered something that is worth going to war for especially now in this atmosphere. The Republic is hanging by a frayed thread and we do not have a chance to defeat the evil that has permeated every aspect of our lives with anything less than a group of determined principled warriors. I believe there will be a sea change in the party if the audit in AZ reveals what we all know is true. Then those fair weather Republicans may change their tune. The ensconced fools like Cheney will never change, therefore, they must go. This audit is going to be a turning point and I pray that it is one that will have a chance to begin to reveal the depths of corruption and lawlessness of the democrat party. It is a long shot but I cannot give up on this country.

While I applaud Gaetz and Greene for their courage, a full-blown civil war within the pubbie party would be a dream come true for the dims. But, while the dim party has an internal civil war of its own, it can rely on the msm to cover up its own civil war, but, the msm will be all too happy to go with wall to wall coverage of internal strife within the pubbie ranks for the simple joy of destroying them.

There are 435 elections coming up in '22. If form is maintained one can expect 90 percent of those currently in Congress to hold their seat. The majority of those leaving are doing so voluntarily, or dying. It would be wonderful to see that 90 percent lowered to 80 percent. That would put fear of defeat back in the equation for our representatives. But, too many are comfortable and profiting from the sloth of their electorate. They promote the proposition that the other guy is the problem. The boobs generally buy it. Vote wisely, primary and general.

So what's new? The Dems have disagreements but they don't air their dirty linen publicly. The media assists them in keeping their arguments behind closed doors. Above all, they are united in their effort to attract more voters while they sit back and let the opposition destroy itself. The Pubbies fall for it every time. They take the bait, elbow each other out for a slugfest with their own at any available media microphone, and very publicly proceed to shoot their own allies. Some may think that attacking our own is simple transparency and a breath of fresh air. That may be true, but are we getting the results we want? The Dems are rubbing their hands in anticipation as the Pubbies self-destruct in the frenzy whipped up by their media allies. If our goal is to WIN, we have to remain laser-focused on how to do that. If you are a new voter, which party would you rather join---one that appears to be inclusive and united or one that seems to be in the midst of continual inner squabbles, hostility, and bad blood? We all know that appearances can be deceiving. But in politics, optics are everything. We better wise up before it's too late.

Maybe it's time for a state funeral in the Rotunda for the Grand Old Party. It has been on it's death bed since the likes of Karl Rove came to the front. It was on life support back during 43. Last rites were said during 45. Unless the GOP committed suicide, it was probably a mercy killing.

It’s part of an effort to help tackle a disease-transmitting invasive mosquito population—the Aedes aegypti mosquito species—that’s responsible for “virtually all mosquito-borne diseases transmitted to humans,” according to the company.
