Biden and nation bracing for possibility of
'not guilty' verdict in trial of Derek Chauvin

Original Article

As the trial of former Minnesota police officer Derek Chauvin wrapped up with closing arguments, the nation braced itself for a verdict: guilty or not guilty of killing George Floyd, the 46-year-old Black man who died during an arrest after Chauvin pressed his knee to Floyd's neck for 9 minutes and 29 seconds. The 12 jurors on the panel have as much time as they need to deliberate, but there is a possibility of a hung jury, which is a failure to reach at least one unanimous verdict. Chauvin is facing three charges, including second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree

Comments:

Can the jury dare find Chauvin not guilty? They know the result will be widespread violence and years of harassment.

Not a chance! Anyone who watched the jury selection realizes that this was a VERY prejudiced jury. Any really open-minded prospect was ousted by the prosecutor. People with very negative views of officer Chauvin - who also added that they could ignore their own prejudices and vote based only on facts and law - were accepted. Several kept watching the news, knew of the $27 mill settlement as well as new rioting/looting/protesting.....yet still they were kept on the jury instead of being excused.

Interesting that the article states "pressed his knee to Floyd's neck" when the trial seems to have stated it was his back and neck area, not specifically on his neck. Believe there was actual video that confirmed that too. It would be much better if everyone simply told the truth and stopped spinning to fit a particular narrative. It's likely what adds to the division and mistrust all around, on all sides of the discussion, which is sad. And, this isn't the first example of that happening either. Lastly, I would not doubt they have the deliberation room bugged, and are hearing what they're discussing which is leading to this type of article about "bracing for possibility of not guilty".

As if the paper above isn't a partisan rag... From the evidence I heard, I would find him not guilty. Between the drugs in Floyd's system, the aggressive crowd, actually hindering any care the person could have gotten, and the body cam footage showing Chavin's knee, not on his neck, but on his shoulders... Slam dunk for the defense.

The mob will burn the cities down regardless of the Chauvin verdict. Mad Maxine already traveled to Minnesota and told the mob to be confrontational with authorities. And since the MSM and this administration has said EVERYTHING is to be viewed through the lens of "systemic racism," a "guilty" verdict means ALL police officers are guilty by association and extension. Violence ensues. They are "systemically" guilty. If Chauvin is deemed "not guilty," then the "justice system" is filled with "systemic racism" and "white supremacy." Violence ensues. The damage that Barack Obama has wrought on this country has reached its evil and nasty fruition. As far as I am concerned, Red States and Blue States are at the point of "irreconcilable differences." It's time for divorce. It's time for secession.

After Abbott announced COVID-19 restrictions would end on March 10, President Joe Biden called the decision a “big mistake” and that it reflected “Neanderthal thinking.” A slew of other political figures thought the decision was premature and a way to distract people from the February winter storm and power outage that killed at least 111 Texans. “It is now time to open Texas 100%,”
