Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is encouraging Americans to wear masks after being diagnosed with COVID-19.The 57-year-old former vice presidential candidate revealed the diagnosis in an interview Wednesday with People magazine, telling the outlet that she and members of her family likely contracted the virus through one of her children.“[O]ne of my daughters awoke to having lost her sense of taste and smell [and] immediately had a positive COVID test,” the 2008 GOP running mate said, adding that the unidentified daughter “then was quarantined in isolation.”Palin’s youngest son, Trig, 12, was the next one

Thanks, Sarah. Really appreciate your prescribing face masks for the entire population, because you had a positive test in the frozen outback of Alaska. I suggest you get a sack with drawstrings, put it over your head, and wear that.

I am disappointed. I kept my admiration for her even during the nasty and unfounded attacks from the communists and republicans alike, all designed to lose the election. I never wavered. Now she does this over a flu bug she will be over in a week. When we've lost Sarah, its over.

I was just wondering how Sarah was doing yesterday. My husband and I were discussing the recent nosedive done by Kristi Noem. We recalled the unprecedented attacks on Palin and the unfortunate divorce she suffered. Although I have become accustomed to being disappointed to those I admired and supported, this still hurts. I am tempted to buy her a copy of Steve Deace's new book, "The Faucian Bargain".

There is a video of a man with a bullhorn, slowly riding in his car. He is telling the people on the sidewalk to keep social distancing, wear their masks without question, and keep on believing what the media tells them. All obviously tongue-in-cheek. He is attacked by a man who is wearing no mask. The attacker pummels the car with his bicycle, eventually breaking the door window. This is what propaganda has wrought.

Whatever. I'm still a free man, able to make "sound" decisions regarding my life and health. Like #1, where I have to, I have to and respect the wishes of the store keeper. I have the free choice to enter, or go elsewhere. At home, on the street, driving my car. around most friends and relatives, I treat their requests as I would if they asked me not to smoke. (No, not a smoker, but...) I'm willing to meet half way, and to walk away.

Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle have just shelled out $9.7 million on a Florida mansion. And it looks like they snagged a bargain. The home was initially listed back in 2017 for a whopping $19.9 million, property records show. But after three years on-and-off the market, and a $10 million price cut, the home finally sold to Trump Jr., 43, and his gal pal, 52, who recently revealed that she already feels like she’s married to him. Georgia’s election reform legislation is pretty good. But the future of the republic is at stake, and “pretty good” isn’t good enough. Unfortunately, while the omnibus bill contains a number of laudable provisions, such as stricter ID requirements and absentee ballot safeguards, it also includes glaring flaws that could render the final product largely meaningless. Most significantly, the language used to “ban” private funding of election administration has a loophole large enough to drive a semi-truck full of ballots through. Although the legislation bars election officials from directly accepting private funding, the wording expressly allows funding to flow through “the governing authority of the county or municipality,”
