Former President Obama has gone to bat for Major League Baseball, issuing a rare tweet Saturday praising their decision to move its All-Star Game out of Atlanta to protest restrictive new voting laws in the Peach State.“Congratulations to @MLB for taking a stand on behalf of voting rights for all citizens. There’s no better way for America’s pastime to honor the great Hank Aaron, who always led by example,” the former commander in chief said. Georgia earned liberal ire last month after Gov. Brian Kemp signed the restrictive new measures into law.

President Biden stumbled briefly once again going up the stairs of Air Force One on Wednesday when leaving for Pittsburgh to unveil his $2.2 Trillion infrastructure plan. He was carrying a bag and holding an umbrella as he haltingly ascended the stairs in the rain. The boarding of the plane had the feel of being choreographed and many people took notice of what amounted to walking and chewing gum at the same time for the elderly president. Earlier in March, Biden tripped twice and fell going up the stairs of Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews. This time the stumble was not so obvious although the president appeared unsteady

And they say Russia doesn’t rig elections. When asked who the most handsome man in their country was, 18% of Russia’s men and 17% of its women allegedly thought of their bare-breasted, horseback-riding, scandal-immune leader, Vladimir Putin. The highly suspect and mildly terrifying poll by job board site Superjob.ru surveyed 2,000 Russians and determined that the 68-year-old bachelor is the sexiest man in the country, the Moscow Times reported. The poll was published April 2 — not April 1.And coincidentally, the “open-ended” survey, which was conducted in person, was published after Putin was granted permission by lawmakers to run for president until 2036.
