A new possible medication to treat coronavirus-positive patients could be enough to turn the pandemic on its head, Fox News medical contributor Dr. Marc Siegel revealed Sunday on "Fox & Friends Weekend."
First-stage testing of the experimental COVID-19 pill called Molnupiravir, by Merck and Ridgeback Biotherapeutics, showed promising signs of effectiveness in reducing the virus in patients. (Snip) "The drug would function as an at-home, five-day treatment, similar to Tamiflu, to stop the virus from reproducing before causing major damage. Siegel said the therapeutic could come to market in as little as four to five months.

Tamiflu? People in India consume Star Anise tea, which contains the principle ingredient of Tamiflu. That may be why the country has had relatively fewer cases of the wu-flu.

Hydroxychloroquine tabs, but they will name it something else.

Who decides what to name these medications? There are so many out there now with longer and longer names. It seems that many are just a random assortment of letters that floated to the top of a bowl of Alpha Bits. The next one will be named by a cat walking across the keyboard.

Good, but remember we already have Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin. These are pills that are also prophylactic. They are proven agents in the prevention of malaria and river blindness and have been safely taken by millions of people. Dr. Fauci is single-handedly responsible for getting HCQ verboten (in public) and killing 50% of Chinavirus casualties (vastly exaggerated in numbers). Dr. Death from the NIH.

HCL, plus zinc, and hopefully no antibiotic...
Or contact Front Line Doctors if HCL not available in your state.
Up your D3 and C, exercise, pray, eat your raw organic veggies, and stay well. [We all have circulating tumor cells.]

Those responsible for impeding, banning, and/or scaremongering Hydroxychloroquine based not on science but on their hatred of President Trump are responsible for many thousands of deaths. ???

If the immune system of a normal, healthy human can handle Covid-19, why is it necessary to even take a pill? It seems redundant. I just wonder if an industry has developed around Covid-19 that is based on money-making rather than on producing any substantial benefit to the body of a healthy human being.

#6 is correct. HCQ was banned by a lot of democrat governors...crazy. That was part of the making the virus look worse then what it really was.

The Disease Industry is in full swing. Masks, signs, hand sanitizer, drugs... billions to be made and political power to be accrued. I was doing a project at work last year that required Plexiglas and was stunned to find there was a 2-3 month backlog on the order. Run-of-the-mill, commercially-available Plexigas... Guess why?

Since the goalposts are on wheels we will have to wait until we have an approved pill to "open" society.

The banning of HCQ and the nursing home blunder in New York were both for the purpose of getting the death numbers up and creating panic.
I have been taking HCQ with zinc, C and D preventatively. (No thanks to the doctors and pharmacies in Louisiana, I might add). The medical community will never regain the respect they have lost during this. I now know that their patients' welfare is way down on their list of priorities.
I will now be refusing all vaccines suggested by the CDC. Wake up to the dichotomy of the Bill Gates family's long held interest in reducing the world population, while being very involved in vaccines that are supposed to save lives!

HCL was too cheap and readily available for the WHO/CDC goons to say it worked. They're holding out for a "new" drug and vaccines that can make the drug companies (and more precisely, their in-the-know investors) richer.

A new therapeutic is great news...one more weapon, as Siegel put it. I am curious, however, why HCQ continues to be ignored, since the following nine doctors have each had 90+% success rates using HCQ to treat CV19 in their clinical practices, treating thousands of patients...Didier Raoult, Stephen Smith, Robin Armstrong, Mohammud Alum, Zev Zelenko, Ivette Lozano, Jeffrey Barke, Stella Immanuel, George Fareed.
Could it have anything to do with the fact that HCQ is no longer under patent, and is too cheap for Big Pharma to make billions?

Dr. Siegel is a good man... I believe what he says...I always wondered why hydroxychloroquine was dismissed so quickly... then it dawned on me... it's very inexpensive and the big pharmas want the vaccine because it's much more expensive...follow the money folks...

Four to five months? I’m sure the politburo behind Biden will order FDA to slow walk it.

The COVID 19 bill proves it is a farce.
The amount of money to slow the virus was almost invisible.
It has become a weapon for a power grab and complete control of your life and livelihood.

If there is a early stage treatment for WuFlu, FDA will have to move ALL the vaccines / gene therapies from emergency use authorization (EUA) to the normal approval process which takes years. Look for this early treatment to run into major barriers, as did HCQ, Ivermectin, and other adjunct treatments such as azithromycin, doxycycline, Vitamins D, C, zinc and querecitin. There's too much money on the vaccines, not enough on a cheap and effective treatment.
FYI to those who are following--Austria's raising the red flag on the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine (not US approved but approved in UK/EU and internationally) based on adenovirus as the viral vector due to fatalities. Watch the rollout of the J&J/Janssen vaccine, also based on adenovirus, for adverse reactions. The two are not alike, however.

Humanity has finally defeated Influenza. Almost disappeared this season. s/
This pandemic has shown that power cannot be placed in the hands of Doctors. Quarantines are for sick people, not healthy people. The idea always was if you feel sick, stay at home.
It was all a farce. Where are the temperature checks when one goes out and about?
Another indication this is a medical pantomime is that we are not told whether the Chinavirus is transmitted by sexual intercourse. The Chinese Communists use anal swabs at airports. Is the virus found in semen? Does the NIH have a contact-tracing grant for gay people? Why does the Covid-19 have EcoR1 and BstE1 cloning sites flanking the spike protein as pointed out in the Yan Report? Why did our NIH fund the making of a virus in the Wuhan Institute of Virology? Was Fauci trying to make an AIDS vaccine? Does the protease cleavage site in the mRNA vaccines protect against AIDS?
Of course, we should not blame only the American Medical Association for forbidding HCQ. In Los Angeles County 8 million people are controlled by Dr. Barbara Ferrer who is a doctor in Social Work.

Don't need a 'new' pill. We have Fluvoxamine - tested for 20 years - we know who can take it & what ailments indicate that a person shouldn't take it for 'off-label' use. Fluvoxamine has been 100% effective in preventing hospitalization of covid positive patients. JAMA published the study in October or November 2020 - Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis - a double blind placebo test. We are in a time of Top Down medicine - the people are not being treated like adults. Valid & useful studies are being ignored - to cover the butts of the CDC & NIH bureaucrats - they demand studies which take time & large amounts of money before they will OK a useful (already) tested drug. Their arrogance & negligence is killing people.

I have a friend who spent 20 plus years in Zimbabwe. He took HCQ for malaria all those years with no adverse effects. It’s almost as if Fauci and company did not want an effective treatment.
