Tomah, Wis. (FOX 9) - Fort McCoy in western Wisconsin is temporarily housing more than 8,700 refugees from Afghanistan preparing for resettlement in the United States after fleeing the Taliban. Additional refugees could be coming to Fort McCoy in the coming days and weeks. Military officials initially said the base, located near Tomah, could support 10,000 refugees, but they have since increased that number to 13,000. The number of Afghans currently at Fort McCoy has nearly tripled in a week, the Associated Press reported. As of Friday, there are 8,780 Afghan refugees at Fort McCoy and around 1,385 soldiers supporting them

Each refugee costs taxpayers about $133,000 over their lifetimes, so these 8,700 New Americans we proudly welcome will cost Legacy Americans $1.2 billion. And that doesn't count chain migration, in which each can import their entire extended families, all eligible for full-ticket welfare, a system into which they never paid a penny in a nation where they do not belong, apart from our rulers' sick desire to destroy the nation.

"And where do they go from there?" How about a Muslim country near Afghanistan? I hear they have plenty of housing there and they will fit right into the culture there.

Are the town's surrounding Ft. McCoy supposed to assimilate many of these people? The people housed at the base double the population of the nearest town West Salem pop. 4,799. The nearby "metropolis" of Tomah has 9,000 people. The surrounding area is rural. After all the people have been "vetted" (yea right) we should demand that they be relocated to Beverly Hills, Aspen, Wilmington Delaware, The Hampton's and Martha's Vineyard. When the elites put their money where their mouth's are and set a "welcoming example," then the rest of the country will follow suit.

Excellent. Instead of getting Passports to travel to all the Nations, God's people in America have His children come to them. Reject the Fem Church. Put on the Armor of God, and Be Bold, as Jesus told his disciples. The meek shall inherit the Earth. Jesus was being compassionate to the lost, whose ears could not hear. Is that your Inheritance from God? The earth? The Beatitudes are a parable. You already have Earth. Claim your inheritance of Heaven. Share the Good News with any and all. It's not an accident that tribesmen are brought to you.

Rep. Adam Kinzinger is likely to lose his House seat after Illinois Democrats redraw the state map for the post-2020 redistricting cycle, according to a Politico report on Wednesday. Kinzinger, who rose to prominence in the Trump era as a vocal critic of the former president, has represented Illinois' 16th Congressional District, which covers the exurbs of Chicago, since 2013. Democratic state lawmakers, who are in control of Illinois' redistricting map, are planning to remove Kinzinger's seat, sources familiar with the process told Politico. If that happens, Kinzinger may have to run for another office in the blue-leaning state should he choose to remain an elected official next year.

At this time last year, the Wuhan coronavirus was claiming around 1,000 American lives per day. It seemed to me that, absent a sudden and sharp decline in that number, Joe Biden would be our next president. It must have seemed that way to Biden and his top advisers, as well. During presidential debates that occurred a little less than a year ago, Biden ripped Trump for his handling of the pandemic. The death count was the centerpiece of this attack. So what’s the daily death count now, more than seven months into the Biden administration and with a majority of Americans vaccinated?

What's with the bizarre campaign against Ivermectin? It's not just that the FDA has put out a quackish tweet (shown here by AT contributor Dr. Brian Joondeph, M.D.) scolding viewers that they are not horses or cows. That's in reference to the fact that in some high-dose forms, ivermectin is used as a horse dewormer, begging the question about its effectiveness when it is dosed and formulated properly as a human medical treatment for COVID, prescribed off-label. The news reports repeatedly call ivermectin a dangerous drug, implying that all uses of the drug are dangerous, even when taken properly.

Sometimes it is difficult to know whether or not Joe Biden is senile or just dumb. I know it’s tempting to ascribe everything he does to his dementia, but he’s been stupid for his whole life. Even people suffering from dementia have moments of lucidity, so it’s really impossible to know what is the true motivation behind the President’s asininity. The effects and the facts of it, however, are easy and important to dissect, because whether it’s due to him losing his grip on reality, that he’s just a very simple and dumb man, or a combination of both doesn’t really matter, what matters is the end result.

As the movement grew, so did the parades and celebrations. How times have changed. Today, Labor Day is largely an occasion for sales, end-of-summer cookouts and back-to-school preparations. Why?
