NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell flubbed an attempt to fact-check GOP Sen. Ted Cruz’s reference to a quote by Shakespeare, inviting some “double, double toil and trouble.” Cruz (R-Texas) was discussing the second Senate impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump on Fox News Wednesday when he invoked a line from Shakespeare. “It’s reminiscent of Shakespeare [in] that it is full of sound and fury, and yet signifying nothing,” he said, reciting a soliloquy from “Macbeth.”

The most astute observation about this is that Andrea's stupidity is a perfect microcosm of liberal news bias: the media can't be bothered to do the most basic of fact checks in their eagerness to "get" a conservative. They also "know" so much that just isn't so. They're living examples of the Peter principal -- so stupid they don't they are stupid.

Us, too, #15, and when I visited the Roman Forum, I stood at the actual location where they stabbed Julius Caesar to death. Learning history via Shakespeare's plays was a good thing. It is really amazing that the same paving stones and all the foundation stones and many of the colums of the buildings are there in the Forum, and many of the buildings within a the immediate area are fully standing after 2,000 years. The fully intact arch of Septimius Severus is very close by, but was built later. I walked on the same basalt paving stones that all those ancient Roman senators and leaders trod. And the Pantheon is not too far, still fully intact and beautiful after 2,000 years. Too bad leftist fools like Mitchell are so uneducated. But if they were smart and educated, they wouldn't be leftists, would they?

WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is set on Tuesday to recommend fully vaccinated Americans wear masks indoors in at least some instances, as the more highly transmissible Delta variant of the coronavirus has led to a surge in infections, sources said. That would mark a reversal of the CDC's announcement in May that prompted millions of vaccinated Americans to shed their face coverings. The CDC will announce revised mask guidance but the specifics of when the agency will recommend fully vaccinated Americans wear masks indoors are not fully clear, the sources said.

First, I’m not a fan of obscenities because I think they cheapen speech. Second, these chants were initially small groups at Southern colleges, which really didn’t seem like a “thing.” Third, I wasn’t going to get excited until I learned whether the chants had legs. Well, it turns out they do have legs and they’re becoming large chants at multiple games (including New York baseball games). And most importantly, Joe Biden knows about them and isn’t happy.
