Without immediate action to combat climate change, 216 million people could be forced to migrate to other parts of their country by 2050. A new report from the World Bank modeled the impact of rising sea levels, water scarcity and declining crop productivity on six regions, concluding that climate migration 'hotspots' will emerge as soon as 2030.The poorest parts of the world will be hit hardest, researchers said: Sub-Saharan Africa alone would account for 86 million of the internal migrants, with 19 million more in North Africa, the report showed,

If a reporter would go back and watch "An Inconvenient Truth," which AL Gore made millions on, they would see none of his predictions came true. We were supposed to have run out of fossil fuels by now and the American coastlines were supposed to be under water due to the ice caps melting.
Fear mongers have been around for a long time. I remember Paul Ehrlich's book, "The Population Bomb" in 1968. He predicted we would run out of everything by the 1990s. His book was a top seller and became a well-know tenured professor at a major university.
These chicken littles make a lot of money selling fear, but they always end up being wrong and are never held accountable.

Excellent!! That means 216,000,000 people are as smart as people throughout history who had to move because of rising water and or other major geological changes in the earth. It ain't rocket science. And it's definitely not climate science.....if you're trying to make the point that it's not happened throughout history.

Ahh yes! It’s all in the Old Testament. The God of the Israelites whacked Egypt with 10 plagues, and Pharoah liberated The People from bondage, a happy outcome.
Today’s fanciful plagues, promoted by The Biden, are designed to return all of His (American) People to totalitarian bondage. Moses? Where are you?

Reuters, using "could" doesn't absolve you from posting dishonest hyperbole. Not a damned thing humans do now can significantly affect the world's climate in thirty years. On the other hand, without immediate action to combat media duplicity, CNN, AP, Reuters, NYT, WaPo, BBC, AFP, et al will continue to shovel steaming mounds of bovine excrement onto us and call it news.

If all of these liberals are so worried about rising oceans flooding coastal areas, why are they living in ocean front mansions? Shouldn't Obama, John Kerry, and a bunch of Hollywood libs have moved to somewhere in Iowa, Kansas, maybe the mountains in West Virginia? No? Guess the threat is not really that bad. Maybe the UN should move out of their hi-rise on the Island of Manhattan and move to Central Africa, far from the rising seas.

I want all the true believers to sign a document to this effect. Then each person who signs this document guarantees that this prediction will come true. Then they each have to put up $200,000 into a fund which will be given to Donald Trump or his family if the prediction does not come true.

Ice she and then flooding. Think I’ll wait to pack up my belongings.
No one can tell how tomorrow’s weather will be let alone what is going to happen 30 years from now. Nice try.
And if God has had enough of the baby killing happening He just might pull the plug in less then 30 years. Then the predictions are useless!

In 1968, Paul Ehrlich's "Population Bomb" said that population would grow so rapidly that getting food would be a major problem. The running out of food would be so severe that the people of San Francisco would be forced to turn cannibal by 1979. Whoops, didn't happen.
In 1972, when Ehrlich ran out of steam, the Club of Rome put out a similar book called "The Limits to Growth", saying that population would grow so rapidly that the world's industries would exhaust all the world's resources trying to keep up.
But that didn't happen, because the people they had forecasting the world's resources were the same people that later forecasted weather. First an ice age by 1975, then global warming afterward.
Don't believe ANY of these people's forecasts about ANYTHING!

Didn't they make the same prediction 20 years ago about coastal cities being flooded by 2020? It seems that anyone can make a prediction and suddenly it's a fact that mustn't be challenged. The mainstream media is giving oxygen to nonsense.

Plant a few trees.
An Isreali Believer planted some trees in Israel several decades ago. His friends laughed at him. Now the trees are a good size. They provide shade, protect the surrounding soil, etc.

#35, I was in college in '72 when The Limits to Growth book was released. I purchased a copy and read it, and I still have it, looked at it about a year ago. I was a junior in my BS engineering degree, and mulled it over a bit. Then I realized that they were almost certainly full of beans.
By '73, we had the Arabs cutting back on oil supply, and I went on to grad school, while all the "experts" explained how we had reached "peak oil" and all oil production would be decreasing steadily from now on. That was a bit disconcerting, but hey, they were "experts", I was just a graduate engineer. I went along with this 'peak oil' fantasy for about 4 or 5 years, then finally saw through it.
I've been skeptical of experts ever since, and more and more CERTAIN that these lying pukes have not the slightest idea what they are talking about. They are scammers, liars and thieves. And now they have scammed the docs, and killed a lot of people with their latest lies......"ivermectin doesn't work" and "HCQ is dangerous, doesn't work" and "the vaccine is safe and effective". The latest lies, right in there with "peak oil" and "we'll be out of raw materials by the end of the 90s", and "the climate is warming" because of a trace gas.
Lies and damned lies from the same pukes for most of my life.

Sub-saharan Africa has been drying since the last ice age. We are supposed to give up our standard of living and drive electric cars to stop it? It can't be stopped, until the next ice age. As for sea levels, they have been rising as well since the ice age. Nothing to do with us.
