Is it Joe Biden? Maybe, but many question whether he has the mental capacity and the energy to run the show. In this post about the Biden administration’s early hard-left initiatives, I speculated that Susan Rice, Ron Klain, or some combination of the two are determining Biden’s domestic policy agenda under pressure from the left. On the foreign policy side, no known policy has yet emerged about which to speculate. Ric Grenell, who until recently was the acting DNI, believes that Rice is dictating both domestic and foreign policy. Rice is Biden’s White House Domestic Policy Council director, so domestic policy falls under her jurisdiction. Rice’s experience, however,

Scattered throughout the length and breadth of the United States are those who have experienced first-hand the tyranny of despotic rulers and repressive one-party oligarchies. (snip) the oblivious, self-absorbed, puerile wannabe autocrats in the Ruling Class are hell-bent on imposing their dysfunctional version of one-party dictatorial rule on a nation they apparently neither know nor understand. (snip)the current infatuation with themselves by this nation’s elites is about to run headfirst into a brick wall. Their attempt to transform the United States into their hybrid version of a one-party oligarchy under the banner of a new hybrid of socialism is doomed to failure.

The President's beloved German shepherds arrive at the White House,” an overly excited Norah O’Donnell announced during the opening tease as she anchored the CBS Evening News.
