With the vaccine not providing immediate immunity to the coronavirus, over two hundred Israeli citizens have been diagnosed with the disease days after getting the Pfizer/BioNTech jabs, local media reported. The number of those who got Covid-19 despite being vaccinated was at around 240 people, according to data from Channel 13 News. CORRECTIONS*

RT COVID-porn headline. Over 1,000,000 shots have been given. Four people vaccinated have died, three unrelated to the vaccine, and the fourth, an 88 year old man with other issues still being investigated.

Isn't RT News sponsored by the Russian government? If so, I think this is a hoax.
Does someone know about RT News?

While the news source has to be considered, (this is reported by from KXAN in Texas) it's very believable with a politically developed vaccine.

Yes, this is a real issue with ANY vaccine. Entirely unsurprising.
Until the vaccine ramps up your immune system, you ARE NOT YET immune. This is especially apparent in the case when the vaccination process requires a pair of injections, weeks apart. Until some specific time after the second injection YOU ARE NOT IMMUNE, and yes, you can still get the disease. With two injections required the "not quite there" period is longer than with a single injection vaccination.
And - the immunity is considered to be ~95% after both injections and "the proper time has elapsed" with these ChiCom flu vacccines.
So, vaccinate 1 million people and you will still get 50,000 cases of the disease in that population of vaccinated people. The good news there is that typically, even if a vaccine doesn't entirely prevent the disease, the disease symptoms which happen will be much milder than without the vaccination because the immune system, while not entirely pumped up to be able to prevent the disease, is at least primed to fight it more effectively and minimize symptoms.

This is from a news agency that is part of a Russian network based in Moscow. No mention of this in the Jerusalem Post, where this morning they reported:

#3, Yes, RT News is a Russian government operation. ALWAYS take it with even more skepticism than even the NYT.

Nothing from the Russian state-owned media is believable, I don’t care who is gullible enough to republish it…
WTH is a Texas station broadcasting Russian propaganda? Do they not check with sources in Israel to see if it is true?

One more good reason to not get the vaccine. But wait the virus is mutating! Woe is us! More lockdowns after each mutation and more vaccines to deal with the newest version. Could go on for a very long time.

When I got a flu shot a couple of months ago, my doctor told me that it would take 2 weeks for my body to build up anti-bodies. This is news to people who don’t want to accept reality.

I absolutely agree, #8, but almost nothing from US media is worth taking at face value these days, either, sad to say.

As I posted before, I'm not getting either of these two vaccines because I don't want to play games with my RNA. I'm waiting for either the vaccine from India or the new Covid treatment from Britain that also gives you six to twelve months of immunity.

Poster #10, not only is the virus ‘mutating’ but according to a news story last night it’s hitting children the most. They really believe we are that stupid.

Pulease! No vaccine works that fast. This is 'Fake News' on the anti-vax side of the street. I am damn tired of being manipulated by those with an axe to grind.

#13...."play games with my RNA.."
Ouch. Please don't take this as a personal attack.
I would suggest that perhaps you should try to find enough facts about what RNA is, and what DNA is and how vaccines actually work before making the choice. Clearly you need more valid information.
These should be informed decisions, and so many are uninformed, misinformed and disinformed so that they cannot make what is actually an "informed decision ".
Does this mean I buy their stories?
Emphatically, NO.
Fauci is a lying SOB.
But, this is a serious disease for a fraction of the population, deadly to a few percent, even a few of those who seem unlikely to have a bad time with it.
And the "six to twelve months of immunity" sounds extremely questionable to me. The Brits have a really failed health care system at this point, I wouldn't trust anything that they say.
India........maybe.

I don't know the truth and if we rely on the media of Dr. faucci we will never know it. Where is our Surgeon General.
Is it true that this vaccine is only good for 90 days? What good is that?

#17, that "90 day" thing sound entirely unreasonable, I don't buy it at all. I can't say it's impossible, just doesn't seem reasonable at all.
This is an RNA virus, and RNA is a single strand, as compared to DNA which is a double strand, and therefore has a 'backup copy', which is the second (identical) strand. And when one strand of DNA is damaged (cosmic ray, radiation, etc) a repair enzyme (imagine a tiny factory that crawls up the DNA strand) will use the other, undamaged strand of DNA as a template to repair the damaged strand.
RNA is used inside cells as a temporary copy of information for making proteins, etc. Think of it as a not on scratch paper. It is not intended to be stable for decades like DNA is. So, RNA is a single strand of amino acids, so has no backup/repair capability. Damaged RNA stays damaged, so over time RNA becomes different as chunks are knocked out, or even a bit accidentally changed. THIS is how 'mutation' occurs.
If the change in the viral RNA (literally the instructions on how to make and assemble a virus) is such that the virus is no longer functional....then that ends that type of mutated virus. But suppose this random modification may make a virus that still works well enough to be reproduced by the commandeered cells, but functions slightly differently. Maybe it is more deadly. Maybe it is less deadly. MAYBE it might not have the key 'signpost' or 'marker' which the vaccine trains the immune system to identify the virus so it can kill it. If the crucial 'marker' portion of the virus changes, then it is possible that the vaccine might not work.
What are the odds of that happening? No possible way to know.
Good news? Since there are many vaccines, the odds of ALL of them stopping working is very low. It seems very unlikely that each vaccine team chose the exact same marker to use to ID the virus.
Imagine training a small child to identify a particular year of car. One person may teach the child to look for a particular headlight design. Change the headlight design and the child would say "that's a different car". But, if someone else taught their child to ID the car by the door handle design, change the headlight and the child would still identify the car correctly. The two kids are the immune systems and each is trained by a vaccine which IDs the virus via some particular external, unique piece of the virus, like a headlight or a door handle of a car.
So, it seems unlikely that the virus will mutate so fast that all the vaccines no longer can identify it after only 90 days. It seems unlikely that it would mutate fast enough for even one vaccine to no longer ID the virus, too.

The people probably stopped being careful after their first shot, wrongly thinking they were already safe.
