The Biden administration this week signaled that it is eyeing a United Nations small arms treaty that critics claim will lead to an international gun registration plan — including for individual American gun owners. Two years after former President Donald Trump withdrew from it, a top arms diplomat at the State Department told the global body that the current administration is swinging behind the Arms Trade Treaty.
“I have come from Washington, D.C., this week to take the floor on the agenda item Treaty Universalization to underscore the continuing commitment of the United States to responsible international trade in conventional arms,” William Malzahn said at the

Swinging behind, huh? You swing, we'll continue to sling, buddy. You protected elites can rid your security of their guns first. And, if your way is so great for everyone, why oh why do you have to force it on us? I'd like to hear an answer to that, and I don't want to hear that you know better and we just need to be enlightened either.

Treaties have to be ratified by 2/3 vote in the Senate. I would hope that the Senate won't support this at that level.

“the right of the people to keep and bear arms” means just what it says.
The Second Amendment prevents the government from infringing upon that right.

There can be no doubt any longer--
JoeBamaBiteMe's ENTIRE reason for being is to promote UNDOING the once UNIQUE American way of life started under his Master Barack Milhous Benito Nobama.
Whatever Mt. Trump stood for, he is AGAINST.
This is no longer the America we grew up in, and we must defend what is left to preserve it for our children and those who follow after us.
The corporate propaganda media of all persuasions is in an INCESTOUS RELATIONSHIP with this conspiracy to overturn moral and societal standards into a confusing mess so as to defend tradition somehow has been turned around to subverting order.
The law enforcement community at the local, state and federal level is COMPLICIT in hiding away the corruption, and will NOT REPORT ANYTHING unfavorable to the psy-op underway.
While blaming Mr. Trump for everything wrong which is a bald-faced LIE, they seemingly THINK they are getting away with it, but we may be about to see a watershed moment-- large numbers of voters realize the mistake that was made and want their votes back.
Razor-thin margins of "victory" are TAINTED, and we have a monkey dancing around to the Nobama team's organ grinder--
It's time or the citizens of California to oust dictator Newsom and pick someone else. Its time for the do nothing RINOs to be ousted too-- very few of them will speak out, and its clear that traditional republicans of the BASE of the party have had a belly full of show horses who back stab us and our families futures.
We cannot wait until 2022-- Convention of the States, term limits, and ousting those unfaithful to the base need to happen. The demonrat socialists tried to impeach the President on made up, created charges and there are REAL examples of selling U.S. out and not upholding the Constitution and the Rule of Law--

I'll make a deal with you joe. When the Taliban accounts for and registers all the weaponry you gave them and you prove every illegal alien has been vaccinated I'll consider doing the same. Consider it mind you but not necessarily doing it. But for the love of God man defend the United States first.

In respectful disagreement, Poster 12, in 2018 Manchin received a D rating from the NRA. More recently, I think he has tried to change his image on gun control, but he has voiced approval of Biden’s proposals to expand background checks and control of “ghost guns.” The point is, if Manchin was the deciding vote on a totalitarian gun grab, does anyone think he would not tow the democrat party line?

Can he really expect to win this one, by signing on to a UN treaty that would diminish the rights of law abiding US citizens inside the USA that they are entitled to under the US Constitution? If so this will be a big one when it hits the desks of the US Supreme Court.

so, under the UN, who is allowed to own and carry guns? private security? law enforcement? i suspect there are counties where the sheriff would deputize all county residents who have clean records as auxiliary deputies .

A few things.
SCOTUS doesn't overturn treaties. I'm not even sure if they have the authority to review them.
The UN treaty, already approved by Congress, holds that any treaty signed goes into effect unless specifically voted down. For any UN treaty/agreement to go into effect, the current government only need sign onto it. Senate oversight not required.

1. The idea that treaties override the Constitution, is Jeffersonian, which proves he was an ugly Elitist as well as a slave holder.
2. Democrats are always looking for ways around the Constitution. We are alwsys looking down our sites at Democrat tyranny. The Civil War was simply the last time we pulled the trigger.
3. He can sign anything he likes. The nature of law and sovreignity dictates that foriegn entities don't get to make the rules. Anyone who tries to sign away my rights will be someone who will be in my sights. Their friends and supporters, too.

First, YOU will give an accounting of every gun, ammunition, night goggle, uniform, helicopter etc. that you handed to the Taliban TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE!!!!! You traitor do not speak for the American people any longer.
BTW, before your Afghanistan disaster didn't you just send the jerk blinken, blanken whatever to the UN to have America investigated for racism???? Oh, that was when you came up with the debacle with Afghanistan!!!!!
